I tried Zuda Yoga using the $30 for 30 days membership and really enjoyed practicing yoga here! The staff is very friendly and facility is nice. They also provide towels if you choose to do the Vinyasa class. Highly recommend!
I ve really enjoyed the new student deal. I tried the vinyasa and yin classes and both exceeded my expectations. Great instructors, calming atmosphere, wonderful workout.
I go to Zuda when I visit my family in Sacramento. I love the space, the community is so vibrant and friendly, and the classes are sweaty and HARD (which is what I love). I haven t had a bad class yet!
Really enjoy the classes--the instructors do a good job balancing healing and restorative moves along with movements that push you to grow. Only con is that it's so popular that the studio gets very crowded most days.
I really love the 30 days for $30 for new yogis. I've enjoyed the space and the instructors and that they offer yoga on Sundays too. I also like how they've recently changed the scheduling so that as a session ends there is more of a gap of when the next class starts to help with the flow of traffic. I appreciate all I've seen and learned here so far. I cannot renew unfortunately because I already have a membership with The Boulder Field (also offers yoga) and cannot maintain both financially. I hope I can return for a one time visit here and there sometime after May 6.
Spacious, elegant venue, WONDERFUL long classes; you get a full hour of flow without skimping on meditation and shavasana. The first person I met when I walked into my first class complimented my perfume. Guys, Zuda is the yoga home you've been searching for!
I've been going to Zuda for a few months and have really enjoyed the yoga, the teachers, and the assisting. The yoga is generally a good mix of relaxation and workout and the teachers are always available for questions and conversations.
Plus the heat of the room is this cold November weather is a definite plus!
Zuda Yoga is amazing! The instructors and staff are extremely welcoming and were willing to answer any questions I had about the classes. They also offered great assistance during my practice. The music is great and you will feel like a new person after!
UPDATE 9/2/19: Zuda yoga continues to impress and exceed my expectations! I love the smaller class sizes, the assistance from the yoga instructors, and the challenge from the Power Vinyasa class. I always walk out feeling rejuvenated and wanting to come back for more!
I absolutely love this yoga studio! I think that it is such a positive and inclusive atmosphere. It is a place that I can go and escape from all of the stress I experience in my everyday life. It is my home away from home.
I finally found my calling! I have always been interested in yoga and I ve taken yoga classes at 24 Hour Fitness and Cal Fit but those classes do not compare to the experience at Zuda. I went to my first class with a friend and the employees were extremely inviting and helpful. They made me feel right at home. Anne Marie Kramer (the owner) was the instructor the first time I went and her class was amazing. I truly felt centered after her class. The $30 for 30 days is an awesome deal! If you re interested in yoga in a modern setting with the perfect ambiance, give Zuda a shot!
This is my favorite vinyasa style studio in Sacramento. Having just recently moved to the area I ve been studio hopping for a few months now, so I ve tried out a few. Zuda continues to be my favorite. I always feel challenged to the point of finding new edges. They play great music. Instructors and assistant s are on point. And I always leave class feeling energized and renewed. I only wish I had more time to go more frequently.
I absolutely ADORE Zuda. I have never been to a studio that makes me feel more at home. The instructors challenge you and make you feel comfortable. I love when they come around and assist you with such gentle hands. The studio is clean and bright. In addition to the instructors and staff even the students here treat each other with such respect and kindness. I love this location. You won t be disappointed!!
I took the introductory series and really loved it. I go to classes here whenever I can. All the teachers I've had a wonderful, professional, and kind. This is an intense workout but also very calming. LOVE this place.
Classes here are a challenge and everyone is welcoming. I've done similar hot yoga classes in LA, Boston, Palm Beach, and am very happy going to Zuda. I have taken classes specifically with Savina Boyce and Sarah Cayer and would recommend them, although I am told everyone at Zuda is great.
I love Zuda Yoga! Never done it before and it was amazing. You burn a whole bunch of calories, the instructors are super nice, and the studio is very pretty and well kept!
Great Studio where the students feel like a community and the teachers community leaders. Every detail is carefully thought out to ensure your experience is a good one. I even received a hand written post card congratulating me on completing my first class.
Been going to Zuda for about 8 months now, and love it. Great class availability, awesome instructors, and friendly staff. Midtown location is easy to get to, too.
Zuda is excellent. It feels like yoga for athletes or people who are already a bit fit. But there are workshops for beginners. Instructors are caring and attentive. I love that I am regularly reminded to "be where I am because I am already there" during practice. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful and the facilities are conveniently located and clean.
Just started really going to Zuda Yoga and am really enjoying it. The teachers push you but remind you to take it at your own speed and really make you feel part of their community. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there aren't showers or locker rooms so its not an option to hit a yoga class on your way to work.
Zuda Yoga kicks my butt and leaves me feeling relaxed and energized. It is not your traditional yoga flow. The 75 min classes incorporate mindful asanas and challenges your endurance. From the moment you walk in the door to the leaving the studio you will be greeted by a sense of community, warmth, and love. If you have not gone, try their 30 day trial and see if it is right for you. Having practiced yoga for seven years now, I can confidently say I am hooked.
I ve always liked yoga and knew that it was beneficial to a happier/healthier mind, body, and soul... but yoga at Zuda is an entirely elevated life-changing experience. I was welcomed with a genuine hug on my first day by the owner. I have been pushed out of my comfort zone with a physically and mentally challenging practice that now has me hooked. Classes at Zuda are the perfect balance between a stellar sweaty workout and a peaceful meditation. After only 5 classes, I feel my body transforming and my mental health improving. I find that I am floating for the rest of the day after class. I haven t felt this excited about something new in a long time. I am literally tearful as I write this- it s that powerful.
The classes are an awesome way to start or end your day. The instructors are motivating and keep you going. One of the best workouts I have had. Love Zuda. Jenny
I have been enjoying the classes at Zuda very much. The classes and teachers are very consistent, competent, gentle and kind. I would definitely recommend it to any friends or family.
This yoga studio is truly amaze balls!!! Everyone is super nice . I ve practiced hot yoga before (bikram to be precise) but a friend recommended power Vinyasa . I was a little apprehensive since I haven t practiced in quite some time and my poses are way off . Nevertheless , I love the fact that there s no mirrors, that it incorporates music , and that everyone is completely focused on themselves and their own levels .I felt welcomed by the yogi s . This class is Like a mixture between finding your happy place but also getting your butt kicked. It s whatever you want to make it!!!
I've had an absolutely amazing experience at Zuda. I just finished my tenth class. Before I signed up I was a bit intimidated by the idea of hot yoga. I had only done yoga once before I started coming to Zuda. However, after my first lesson all of my worries were gone. They really encourage you to go at your own pace, whether you're a beginner or an advanced student. They have classes of varying levels, and many different wonderful instructors. Each practice is different from the last, so it never feels repetitive. I can't say enough positive things about this yoga studio, and they've made me excited to continue practicing yoga.
Zuda is an amazing yoga studio. The staff are incredibly friendly, the process straightforward for getting started. Highly recommend - it s changing my life.
This studio is amazing! The people are so kind, and come from all backgrounds and levels of yoga. I felt so welcomed by the community, and would recommend to anyone.
I love this place from every angle. Staff is the most welcoming I have ever seen in this type of setting, instructors are extremely knowledgeable. Classes are full of positive energy which radiates entire time. Thank you Zuda!!!
I've had an absolutely wonderful experience at Zuda thus far. The staff is very welcoming, the facility clean, and there is a great sense of community at Zuda. They offer different classes with all amazing instructors, in which all skill levels are encouraged to push themselves but balance the need for pace. I ve really learned to become aware and listen to my body throughout this practice.. I am excited to keep coming back!
Zuda was my first time ever doing hot yoga! Their intro deal is $30 for 30 days. It's a great way to try the different instructors and different class levels and styles. I'm not personally too familiar with the practice of yoga, but had done it before and was familiar with the different poses. When in doubt I just take a look around at others! I'm a big fan of Lindsey and Kenny. I have noticed a difference in the class levels, in that level 1 classes the instructors will explain a bit more. Overall I think even beginners would be fine and able to go at their own pace and take what they need in more advanced classes. Some of the weekday evening classes can get really packed and they have a new system where you reserve a specific spot in the room on the app. The front staff is great and very welcoming. The studio is very clean and well kept. I highly recommend trying Zuda out! Definitely hydrate all day and during and take breaks when you need.
I've now been going to classes at Zuda for about 2 weeks, and I've been very happy with the classes. It's a great studio space with friendly staff and instructors. If you're looking for an incredible workout and spiritual practice, Zuda is a great option.
I started going to Zuda in December and absolutely love it. The instructors, assistants and desk staff are all awesome. Great workouts and wonderful message!
I am currently doing the 30 day challenge, and I absolutely LOVE (even know I don t know what the hell I m doing most of the time) but I know if I keep going and asking questions I will get to learn more and more and get better as time will go on. I love ALL the teachers their all so very helpful, the staff period! The whole place is so inviting , even being a bigger woman I don t feel as if I don t fit there as I easily feel in the world. I am glad I came and I know once I m done with my 30 day challenge I will continue to grow with ZUDA, I m looking forward to it!
In general, a great place with very friendly instructors. I am fairly new to yoga so I don t know many poses and didn t know what to expect. They ease you into it, but the pace can be fast and I haven t noticed much instruction in poses (at times it felt like they assume you know the majority of poses or how to get into them). But there is no judgement at all in terms of what you can or can t do and what pace you need to go at for yourself which is nice. I like that they have many classes throughout the day and a variety of classes like yin and meditation to allow you to mix things up. It s drfinitely a work-out in 85-90 degree rooms but you leave feeling very refreshed.
As many others will agree, this is Truly a special place... It will change your life. I Started here over three years ago It was my very first experience going to a yoga studio -- I was curious and my wife, then my girlfriend, was doing a 30 for 30 and offered for me to join her. Sweatsoaked and euphoric after, I resolved that this would not be my only experience. I signed up here at the Sacramento location the very next day, and despite living in Marin at the time, I also signed up on a 30/30 and managed to attend 24 of the next 30 days. I proceeded to try out many studios over the next few years, in Marin, Napa, and here in Sacramento. Some good, some great... But none quite like zuda. I keep ending up back here, time after time. Love the instructors, love the vibe, love the facility... And I swear I sweat more here than any other power vinyasa I've been to! Go here, and be forever changed....
Excellent yoga studio! Every instructor has been wonderful and the environment is so peaceful and welcoming. The classes are challenging but doable, a great addition to my routine!
Zuda is purely amazing! It is more about just showing up and taking the class. The whole community makes it a rewarding experience. The instructors are all fantastic and encourage you to push yourselves a bit. The result is a fresh clear mind and your body saying thank you.
First time yogi here, I took the beginner class with Michael and Marie Anderson and it was an awesome introduction to the poses and flow. Since then my wife and I have been regularly attending 2-3 sessions per week. You take what you need from each session mentally or physical or both. Great place, great teachers, great workout, I would definitely recommend.
We love practicing here at Zuda Yoga Sac. All the trachers and staff make us feel like family. The instructors really care if you are living your best yoga life. They take time with you and make you feel very welcome!!
My experience at Zuda has been amazing. I would recommend this studio without hesitation. Zuda is open, clean, and vibrant. I also love the midtown location. The teachers are focused and confident, fun too. Be prepared to throw down!
Great place! Does get a little crowded so get there early, but it's definitely worth it! Have tried many different instructors and they're all great. The music is really good too
I love Zuda! Not only do they offer traditional Vinyasa style yoga, but they also offer Yin, Karma classes, and Sister Circle. One of the reasons Zuda really works for me though is that they have classes much later than other studios, so when I have to work late I can still get my yoga in. I've looked around Sac and there is really no other studio that compares to them.
Great studio! Did the 30 for 30 and really appreciated how clean the studio was and how many class times there are available. Make sure to register in advance if you re going at a busy time (the 6 AM classes are usually full by the day before).
Zuda is such an awesome place! I've tried many yoga studios in Sac and Zuda is my favorite so far. The teachers are really motivating but I always still feel comfortable moving at my own pace. I also like that the studio is super clean.
This has been by far my favorite yoga studio in Sacramento. I have enjoyed classes from many different instructors and appreciate their willingness to explain various poses. I feel very comfortable at Zuda with my minimal yoga experience, and everyone is exceptionally nice, from the front desk to the instructors.
This is one of the best Yoga studios in Sacramento! Everyone is so kind, respectful, and giving. Not to mention clean and accommodating. I recommend trying this place out...Nothing but positive vibes and great Vinyasa flow classes!
Zuda is an excellent way to take a break from the craziness of life and just be. Not only does it challenge me physically, but it also challenges me mentally. To learn to let go, to stay put, to rest, to go for it, to work hard. It's an opportunity to spend time with myself and focus on only me and my body. They have great instructors that all have their own nuance in the practice that has been fun to experience. I also love the new scheduling system. It actually made me come back to Zuda because it cut out the anxiety of a crowded lobby and rush to find a spot to put your mat. All I have to do is show up, check in, find the spot I booked, and that is all. It's such a relief!
Out of all the hot yoga places I've ever tried for Power Vinyasa, Zuda Yoga stands out as the clear favorite. You will NOT be disappointed!! The instructors are always so welcoming, knowledgable, and genuinely kind. All exude a non-judgmental attitude, while still encouraging you to push past your own set-limitations.They seriously do a GREAT job of changing up poses and the meditation portions without it ever feeling forced. Also, they are very good about coming around to correct your pose or posture; they will even help you get that extra stretch! You will walk out feeling physically worked (which I can't say for all yoga places) yet completely rejuvenated. :) I can honestly say that practicing here has helped me become a more relaxed and grateful person. I totally recommend trying it!! :)
I've done yoga here and there before and it was alright. After my first session at Zuda (now my 15th visit) I found REAL yoga. I arrive welcomed and relaxed, 75 minutes at peace while smiling and entertained, and leave with deep thoughts from instructor Anne Marie that stay with me for days, weeks, months. Sunday mornings have become a routine I never want to miss. Thank you Zuda for entering my life and my family.
Just finished 30 days of yoga at Zuda and I m hooked! Classes can be intense but fly by because instructors are fun and encouraging. Love having assists to guide you deeper into poses and make child s pose extra relaxing!
This studio is fantastic. The teachers are very motivating. The space is large and clean. When I first walked in, I felt a positive energy. Be prepared to sweat and work hard in a meaningful way. Everyone is super nice. Come early because the popular times can be crowded, but it is worth it.
I love Zuda Yoga. I live in Weed, CA, whenever I am in Sacramento I take as many classes as I can at Zuda Yoga. The staff greets you with love and acceptance. The studio is beyond clean. The teachers are so amazing they are professional, kind, fun and encouraging.
I decided to take the introductory series and I had a great time. Since I have a really busy schedule I go to classes whenever I can. Despite the problem to attend classes often I still get plenty of support from the instructors.
I absolutely love Zuda. The staff is warm and welcoming. I have never tried yoga before and Zuda sold me on it. I will continue to come to yoga classes. I would 100% recommend to a friend.
I love coming to kids yoga at Zuda! My favorite part of yoga at Zuda is learning new poses and relaxing while my mom gets to do her yoga class at the same time !
Zuda is where I started my yoga journey and I've been in love ever since. I've learned so much about myself, the philosophy of yoga, and my body in general. The Zuda team has been so supportive in helping me grow from poses to understanding the importance of connecting our breath to our movements. Thanks for giving me a yoga fam (:
This class will work your body and free your mind. Sweat like you are in Costa Rica, and drink water like never before. When you re done and you walk outside that first breath is amazing. If you re looking for strength and cleansing, Zuda is for you!
New to Zuda and absolutely loving it! This studio has become a very positive outlet for me. I enjoy the challenge and energy in the room. Great instructors-- love the diverse teaching styles. Looking forward to improving my practice with Zuda!
