Nice theatre, good staff, tea , coffee and bar inside.

Went there to film an advert for a client who chose this venue, and if I ever have children I wouldn't mind taking them there

Z-Arts is a great fun place to come and interact with friends and family also they outdoor trips and live music

Amazing place, we went for the Julia Donaldson book event which was amazing both my kids (2 and 6) really enjoyed it. They serve food too although we didn't purchase any it looked and smelt lovely.

Friendly staff and good rates for size of the rooms.

We always love bringing our toddler here to see one of the performances for young children. Most recently, the World Inside a Book immersive experience.

Really good venue. Attended the 2018 National Permaculture Convergence there.
Lots of meeting rooms and good sized theatre.

We took our two children to see High School Musical today. It was absolutely brilliant. The cast were fantastic and the band and production amazing. Really good to see the young people of manchester producing such a good show. Staff lovely- my daughter was fortunate enough to be sang happy birthday on stage. Thank you for making her birthday extra special! Amalee loved sharpay!

I found myself being the +1 with my sister and nephew for a "Toddlertastic" session at Z Arts. This was our first visit to a session at this venue and we found the reception staff really friendly and helpful. The session was free, although More

Went to see the Julia Donaldson interactive exhibition. A bit cramped for the amount of people they let in but kids really enjoyed it.

Building with character. Very helpful and friendly staff. Spacious refreshment area. The toilets were a little dated and dirty. Performances from the 3 schools as part of the Shakespeare Schools were all excellent.

Super place to take the younger kids. Lots of fun things to do and make. Tiger who came to tea was on today lots of dressing up items Mog, Tiger and many more.

Went to see 'the world in a book' event that brought Julia Donaldson's books to life, as well as the one about 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' last year - amazing! We were totally emersed in the worlds of the stories, highly recommended. Cafe great too, though very slow service.

Thearte there is set up to be very interactive which was great fun during the adult version of Cinderella.
Arun Ghosh is performing on Dec 7th.
He is a total wizard with an excellent support band.
Kids & adults loved his interactive show when he performed there a month or so ago..
His wand is his flute&clarinet.

At Z - Arts You can do Art sessions, 5 day cooking courses, do yoga classes and getting a evening massage session with one Z-Arts leading top massage specialists.

Great space for theatre and music which offers young people opportunities to be successful in the creative industries

Amazing Julia Donaldson exhibition!!! Z-arts just needed to be more prepared for mum's and kids wanting lunch afterwards. Not great! It felt like they were under staffed and had only got minimal things for the kids lunch box deal. Bananas weren't ripe and only had pickled onion space invaders or spicy crisps as an option.

Fantastic provision for the community and fairly priced. Magical family fun!

There are a great range of performances and events going on at Z arts year round. The building is lovely and accessible, the prices are good and the cafe is excellent. I always worry about parking but to be honest I've never had an issue finding an on street space here.

Attentive and friendly staff. Good cafe plus arts and crafts for the kids. Pleasantly surprised.

Wonderful place, I take my children regularly as they have loads of events on for all ages. Very good reasonable price cafe too (with play area) if you just want somewhere to meet and grab a drink.

This is the best place every for young people to get involved with crafts and arts under the watchful eye of amazing staff. The list is endless of the amazing opportunities that can be gained here. Can't rate it enough.

What a fantastic venue. It was the first time I've been here, I came with my son. The show was brilliant, the cafe great value and the space bursting with activities, creativity and invention; so inspirational for young minds.

Andy Hammond is a great guy. The music room studio is fantastic! All the other staff in reception are very friendly and helpful.

Amazing gem of a place. We brought our two to a lovely party here for the Julia donaldson exhibition, it's amazing. And we will be back next year to see the Judith kerr.

Nicely laid out. Had a great time at Fairytales Gone Bad. My 8 year old daughter loved it. Witty and imaginative production. We saw Zombie-tells. A great experience all round

We go to Z arts on regular basis to watch performances by MMY, Manchester Musical Youth. They use it as a performance venue but they also use it as a rehearsal studio and the staff who run the Venue have always been exceptional and extremely helpful with all of our requirements as a family

Went for the Julia Donaldson exhibit with a 4 month old and 2 year old. Was blown away. The exhibit was so well done it completely blew my toddlers mind. The staff were all awesome and I felt you could feel the love that's been put into everything there coming out of the walls.

Fantastic cafe the interior design is worth a visit alone. Wonderful atmosphere

A great victorian building with huge spiral staircases. This is my second visit here and i would recommend it to anyone even for the architectural value.

A fabulous creative hub. Try to not drive as the atmosphere is welcoming and the cakes and bar ample. Relax in the knowledge you are aiding the children's creativity and putting back to the arts.

Great zog production for the kids. There were bits I enjoyed too.

Visited the Julia Donaldson World inside a book exhibition with our 3 year old and newborn today and wanted to say thankyou.
Amazing experience with really well made/designed sets that brought the books to life.
Our little boy who has read all the stories loved it all and really enjoyed the dressing up and interaction.
Special thanks also to the staff who not only made the experience but also helped me and calmed my little boy down when it got a little too much for him, massive help especially when carrying a 8 week old.
Thanks again, will be back soon.

We just went to see Michael Rosen's Bear Hunt, and have previously visited for a Christmas Show. Really varied performances and excellent prices, as well as offering a multitude of groups and training for local users - at subsidised prices so that it isn't just for people with load of cash.
