An awesome venue. My daughter got her first Cameo appearance. Cannot wait for our next visit.

Georgian Theatre Royal, beautiful, intimate historic theatre and wow do they put on a fantastic show!
Recently came to watch the panto Snow White, written and directed by Clare Allen, it was a very, very entertaining panto we all absolutely loved it! Best panto ever. Really looking forward to coming back next year.

Gorgeous petite intimate theatre, which has to be felt in the flesh. Dedicated troupe of supporters and players. We watched the 2016 panto, snow white, which was innovative, riveting and downright fun. Awesome experience which is almost certain to temp you to try theatre again.

Unique thaatre, be aware they have very small seats

Really interesting place with friendly and well informed guides. Ticket lasts for a year and can be used multiple times. Well worth a visit

Amazing theatre with loads of historic character. The boxing day pantomimes we have seen have been very well produced and really funny. We also got married on the stage on Yorkshire Day 2017.

Too much fun. Take a tour of the Theatre and travel back in time. This is the oldest Georgian Theater Royal in England. Catch a performance if possible.

Always brilliant. Check out the Xmas panto - boys cried with laughter.

Fabulous panto 'The Wizard of Oz' enjoyed by all the family

Really nice historic theatre but I find the seating really uncomfortable as they were just wooden benches with no padding.

It's a fantastic small old theatre that is still in the same style it was during Georgian times. The seating can be a little small and uncomfortable but it's authentic. We go at least once a year as a family

Went to watch the pantomime, Aladdin. I have seen lots of pantomimes, this was the best I have ever been to.

Superb! This evening we (The Bread Knife & me) Were heartily entertained by the cast of Alan Ayckbourn's "a small Family Business" Directed by Gregan Davis. This is a gem of a Theatre that continues to give so much to all who cross it's threshold. A warm welcome awaits all who enter in. You won't be disappointed.

Interesting guuded tour of the theatre by knowledgeable staff giving a potted history of the building.

Fantastic evening watching the Richmonde 2018 pantomime

Small original Georgian theatre with regular plays, comedians and other entertainment.

An absolute little Gem, wonderful Georgian theatre,as well as a terrific pantomime. A real must do.

Excellent guided tour by lovely lady in period costume. Cannot recommend this place enough. It was interesting to see this historic theatre from front and back stage.

Outstanding; first visit with the children was the perfect theatre. Magical from the man on the desk checking your tickets to the moment we left

A must do for theatre lovers. Stunning - terrific experience to be so close to the players in such an intimate venue. If you like live theatre then you will love any production here.

What history! Even if you're not really a theatre buff you should do the theatre tour!

Beaitiful restoration of a lovely theatre. Set in a lovely lovely town. Take the tour, you won't be disappointed.

Not the most comfortable theatre, but a fine performance from the cast.

Thought provoking production of The Two Gentlemen of Verona from the Globe Theatre on tour in this magnificent, unique theatre.

This was a great tour and gave us such an insight into Georgian living, eve though it was hard to imagine those days.

Had a fabulously funny evening waiting Death on the Coast in one of the countries last remaining Georgian theatres taller people would do well to avoid the cramped seating in the gallery area but it's part of the charm of the venue that modern arrangements have not been imposed

Fabulous theatre, great atmosphere, wonderful staff. If you haven't been to see a show here you're missing out.

Gorgeous building with 'Hogwarts' painted ceiling. Little boxes, gallery and pit with benches. No comfy seating but amazing atmosphere and history.

Visit here every year for panto, lovely staff, amazing place, would highly recommend.

Wonderful experience. Our group of 6 made a last minute decision to see Aladdin on Saturday afternoon. Luckily there were seats available and we were all delighted with the show. Thank you, and well done.

Great little place, but the seating is not the best. The people were a lot smaller in height and width back then. Would go again, enjoyed the act.

Given a conducted tour round the theatre on Richmond open day and very interesting, like stepping back into another era.

A wonderful piece of living history. Great shows. Tour of the theatre are available every hour on the hour between 10am and 4pm. It's a gem of a place.
