ZIO's Pizzeria Review

It has been years since I ate Zio's and we were back in town, and it was as good as always!

Great pizza, So good that it makes everything else dull. All I want is their pizza

Ordered a pizza and 3 calzones. It took twenty minutes to get salada when the food came the crust was hard as a rock on pizza and calzones our server offered to make new ones couldn't take the time with two salad's bill came to $82.41 a lot of money for food I couldn't eat!

This past Sunday I was cruising around for a place to grab some lunch and send out some emails. After passing up two other places which were already closed, I finally came upon Zio's, my heaven send in the form of awesome pizza. The staff was super nice, the restaurant was clean and inviting, and of course my medium pepperoni was delicious as always. I'll definitely be back again.

Edit: This is one of Omaha's greatest pizza. You cannot pass this without going in. Great pizza, great toasted ravioli, and to be honest, great salads!!!

Pizza by the slice!!

My husband liked the pizza. I am not a fan. I've tried this place twice, ordering a different pizza each time... and it's just not to my liking.

Loved this place for the food. Atmosphere was a nice bonus.

Not impressed honestly. I mean, it wasn't terrible, but really the service was awful. Took 20 minutes just to be helped, and over an hour for three slices of pizza.

good service and "Linda Gorham" idk what you are talking about i went there twice and the server was one of he best i have even seen in my life he listens he is polite he is excellent and he was the apidmity of hospitality and the food was fast in only about 15-30 mins for the main course and about 5-8mins for appetizers and about 1-2 mins for drink super fast and even the plates they gave us where hot and warm thats not the only thing that was also good and superb also "Aaron Mancilla"
you must be nuts so say it's average you must of be raised on a cretin type of pizza that isnt severed at zios or something because the pizza was the best i have ever had fresh ever thing ot perfect crust crisp stringy chezze the pizza was so good i was slightly sad i couldn't eat any more when i was full it is that good

Didn't know i couldnt place an order at 8:25 when you guys close at 9. We've tried calling but no one bothered to answer the phone. I love your guys food but its hard to order food when no one bothers to answer.

Love their chicken pesto pizza and calzons and love that they have powdered garlic on the tables.

I absolutely love Zio's Pizza. My favorite is the Chicken Pesto, It is delicious. I love everything about Zio's. The crust is great and the ingredients are always so fresh! We've been going here for years. I've tried other pizza around town and nothing stacks up to Zio's. My kids always love going to Zio's for birthday celebrations and graduations too!

Still some of the best pizza in Omaha! Would have given 5, but my slice wasn't very hot. Understandable considering how busy it was.

Really good experience...salad was fresh, good tasted great, and waitress was pleasant and attentive.

Delicious pizza. Perfect crust to topping ratios and the fresh basil is refreshing. They also offer local craft beers that pairs very good with the pizza. When it comes to service, Nathan did an excellent job. He was very welcoming, polite and attentive.

Very good pizza! The day I visited, we were getting pizza to go... when I showed up, it wasn't quite ready and they were busy, so the manager said "if you'd like to wait in the comfort of your car, I will bring it out to you." Perfect! They also were out of paper plates that evening, so the manager came up with the idea of using small to go boxes and cutting them in half... also perfect. Great service and great experience! Cant wait to go back!

Tried the pizza and loved it for greasy New York style. Prefer Chicago style but this is good New York pizza.

Solid pizza spot, but not one that I like enough to make frequent return trips to eat.

The pizza is good but not great and its expensive. Piezons pizza is far FAR superior in every way. Go there if you are in the area.

Huge slices for a decent prize. I prefer the downtown location to the westside one.

New York style pizza in Omaha. A great place for lunch and they will make pretty much anything you want. A step ahead of all the chain store stuff out there.

Ive been going to zio's for the past 8 years ! I've always gotten good food and service; untill the previous owner sold the business ! The pizza doesn't taste same and it looks like they have had a bunch of staff turn over because the service is lacking ! Now i'm not bashing the place at all this has just been my experience. With any business changing hands there are bumps in the road ! Food quality isn't the same!

Always hot and fresh New York style pizza! I crave their crust and love their chilled salads! Perfect for lunch or dinner!

Ok so my partner and I came in and there was a chalkboard that said please seat yourself no big deal right. So I went to wash my hands and when I came back The couple that Walked in before us had gotten menu and the cashier and the waiter had seen us still sitting down and didn't even offer as a menu or tell us to come up to the cash register and order our food. I found that very disrespectful and I almost felt discriminated why didn't they give us a menu when they gave the other couple menus... not cool man

Wasted an hour here, only to find out that they forgot to put out order in. Dry calzones are not worth it.

Went for lunch with a big group and little kids and they were super helpful and food came out great.

2 stars since the food was great, but service was slow and most tables were full of dirty dishes. Waited 30 mins for a slice of pizza and it came out luke warm. Total time for a large pizza took over an hour. We will not visit this location again.

Zio's is by far the bets pizza place ever. Definitely trumps over God Fathers, Pizza Hutt, Dominoes, and Little Ceasers. I have to say not only do they have the best pizza that is hot and fresh but they also have the best little ravioli things you can eat. Like seriously to die for lol. But the Staff is always more than friendly and helpful. I think this is by far one of the best places you can eat for any occasion.

We absolutely love Zio's. We generally go to the Old Market location and the customer service is excellent and the food is always hot, fresh and delicious. I've given 3 stars to this location due to the customer service experience. The guy at the counter was extreme;y rude to not just us but the customers before and after. The food was still worth the trip though!

Just left Zio's and everyone has food poisoning. Pizza was not that good and they also gave my daughter a used pack of crayons with someone's ABC gum in it. I will not be going back.

Great food good atmosphere.. But the one downtown is better

One of my top two fav pizzeria places in NE. Whenever I come back to Omaha, mandatory visit. If they'd let me order a frozen one to be delivered to where I live now, I'd be a customer.

Waited for over an hour to get out food. My son's order was wrong. Service was bad.

Another great pizza. I had intended to try one of their pasta entrees this time, but the temptation was too great - as soon as I walked in and smelled the pizza I knew what I wanted.
I was Exec. Director for a large West Coast law firm when we decided we needed a NYC office, so yes I can verify Zio's tv ad, at least until the woman wondered if she was in Central Park.

I would say that Zio's and Brick Oven Pizza are on equal grounds for me as the best local pizza joints in Omaha Neblastya. The sauce Zio's uses is sweet and tangy to where I can taste it is made fresh everyday. It kind of reminds me of Sgt. Peffers sauce if you have ever been to that local Omaha chain. Their cheese garlic toast is better than most. Their salads are also good, nice cold and crisp lettuce with no rust. Go in for their lunch specials.

This place has gone downhill. The pizza is never warm and it takes well over an hour for 2 slices of pizza to be served. I take into consideration the amount of full tables, however, people who arrived after us had left long before we did. Our service is usually good, but I think our waiters must take breaks and maybe that's why the wait is so long only to receive cold pizza. This experience I describe has become the norm, so we have decided never to return.

The pizza is really good. The service is excellent. I ordered a pizza for delivery and was told an hour but got it in 20 minutes. Yes you could save money by going to a national chain but what you save in money you give up in quality and flavor. They have a great selection of specialty pizzas and you won't be disappointed. We usually go to the Old Market location.

I give Zio's a 4 due to the fact that everytime we come in when they are waiting to be seated it takes them over 4 minutes to great us, and the waitress never comes over after we get our food to refill drinks, or ask how everything is tasting. The pizza is always great the service just really stinks sometimes.

This really is some of the best New York style pizza you can get. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere.

We absolutely love zio's. The old market location is always the best - hands down. We had a pretty poor experience at this location (dodge street) simply because they were incredibly understaffed. We waited for quite some time to be seated, to be waited on, to get food, etc. We wound up spending 2+ hours here when we typically spend 45 mins in a zio's.

Always great food, very crowded during lunch time. Also appears their prices have gone up since the last time I was there!
