Top quality feed. The workers we're flat out like a one armed bricklayer yet still happy and vibrant and food came pretty quick

We went for Mother's Day ..there was a set menu and it was rather pricey. This was expected so we went anyway. Food was good, the day was lovely which made the view stunning. Our booking was for 2pm but we weren't seated until 220pm. Overall, a nice place with friendly staff. Would probably come again!

Great view and that s about it. We made a December booking 2 months prior for 9 people.
Staff member calls us the day of, 1 hours before our booking and tells us that they have a strict no BYO policy in December. This is not advertised anywhere, and they did not tell us this when we booked. The short time frame, and busyness of all restaurants around Christmas time meant we could get another booking anywhere else. We are a large group and purposely went with Zimzala as they offer BYO.

Food very average and we were charged for a bottle of wine that we did not order, however the staff did fix this error up.

Wouldn t go back.

Been here on and off over the years and always a great experience. I was recently diagnosed with Crohn s disease, and associated IBS, meaning I ve now got very strict dietary requirements (following the low-FODMAP diet meaning no onion, garlic, cauliflower, chickpeas, mushrooms, butternut pumpkin and a million other things... the list goes on, with added Crohn s requirements, such as low sugar, low fat etc).

Zimzala were able to accommodate my requirements by cooking up an onion and garlic free seafood platter, which I then further navigated myself. The bonus, while I can t have fatty foods, I was still able to have some of the battered fish and chips, because they weren t overly oily!

Eating out with Crohn s and IBS can be really difficult, stressful even, so thank you for a lovely evening full of delicious food

Favourite spot when visiting...good sea views and amazing muffins.

Poor service... Most waitresses were asleep... Especially Sam... Food was fine but drowned out by the experience... May not return unfortunately...

Went for the Valentine's day 3 course meal "special" which was $100 per person. For that price I expect good food (you can get a 3 course meal up at Sydney Tower for less than that) but unfortunately my experience was pretty average and I'm disappointed. For example my ribeye steak was overcooked, veggies were dry etc. The only redeeming feature is that the resturant is located right beside the water. That doesn't justify the rest of my experience though.

We came to this restaurant for breakfast today and we were greeted by the young waitress. We ordered 3x extra hot coffees , tea, 2 big breakfast, hotcakes & eggs Benedict. The coffees came however they were lukewarm. Finally breakfast came, they looked good except halfway through my eggs Benedict, I found hair between egg & bread. I told the waitress and she said that she can't believe it as kitchen staff have short hair, I said I have black hair and the hair is blonde strand. She said sorry and took it back but no one came back from management to apologise. The manager came to clean the table and asked how was the meal, I said that my breakfast had hair strand and all she said was someone had told her but no apologies. VERY POOR SERVICE & QUALITY OF FOOD...

They try and give feeling of a fine dining establishment, and charge the same. However the platters of seafood we ordered were average and the wine selection was minimal

Love this place. Amazing food, and once are here in high summer with waves crashing a few metres away- we loved it!

Attended a wedding at this venue. The staff were lovely, and the food was absolutely delicious. The venue is in a very nice spot overlooking the beach. Would absolutely reccomend going, and trying one of the seafood dishes.

A lovely restaurant in an amazing location. They serve delicious food. Their menu is extensive and varied with reasonable prices. We usually have breakfast here and enjoy that amazing beachfront view. Last night we had dinner in this restaurant and it was a delicious dining experience. Freshly made crusty bread, seafood chowder, the most deliciously cooked piece of fillet steak and panna cotta to finish. Yum... They make great coffee and fresh tea. The staff are warm and friendly and provide efficient customer service. Highly recommended.

The waiter got my order wrong twice and acutally argued with me about it. I ordered a flat white and got and iced coffee the first time and and iced chocolate the second. Hahaha not great

The lamb was delicious and staff was very pleasant. The view and atmosphere - this place suites very nice for a dinner of two.

Nice place to stop over and grab something to eat or drink by the beach. Food is good and coffee is decent.They have a standard menu and therefore the meals are expensive if you pop in for lunch. It's a little bit of a walk to get there after finding parking.

One vegetarian option that was very plain.

Have been in this place 4 times and every single time customer service was horrible. Long food wait we talking about 40min wait for just a coffee, wrong coffees, hair in muffins and just simply not a pleasant customer experience, the staff don t even hide their apathy. The only thing why I kept giving them the second chances was the bloody good view, which they abuse to their advantage. They use this unique location to provide bad customer service and not even trying to improve it. I can tell for sure, this was 4th and the last time I came here.

The food was a bit overpriced for the quality we got. Nothing good stood out about the food. We ordered salmon spaghettini and porkbelly. The spaghettini was way too sour. Service was very upsetting, the staff would go around our neighboring tables asking if everything was ok, taking their orders, but they completely ignored our table like we did not exist. Our main took more than 45 to arrive after they cleared away our entree.

I had an entree, main and dessert. Each course was absolutely delicious. Our table of 5 all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Waitress were attentive without being overbearing. A fantastic Xmas lunch as always.

(Early 2018) this review was lodged early 2018. I updated the date as Google now suggest that gives a fair indication of when the review was given. If the situation has changed since then I imagine more recent reviews will have corrected my issues.

We celebrated fifty fourth wedding anniversary last Friday evening and despite the rain had a wonderful time. Great atmosphere (despite the virus regulations), friendly staff, delicious food and our waiter, Oleg was superb. Definitely will return in the future.

Also includes a quality assorted dessert plate.

Great food, great waitresses who love sense of humour, and most importantly spectacular view! Will always come back! Can be pricey and tricky to find a great spot to chill.

Prime location for a delicious and generous breakfast. Service was exceptional and friendly. A must to visit when in Cronulla.

Delicious food and wonderful staff. Amazing views especially on a sunny day. If visiting, probably best to book if the weather is nice as it can get busy.

We went for a sunday family lunch, ordered entree and mains, but our mains didn't arrive, after waiting an hour and having to ask three different waiters for our mains,, we were told the chef hadn't seen the order.
Spoke to an elderly gentleman about the ordeal, didn't apologize, just said it was one of those days....
will not be going back
