Excellent library, very well equipped, only the staff leaves much to be desired. When I asked for specific text that I couldn't find, I was invited to use the online catalog NEBIS. Forgive me, but what do get paid for? Same thing for returns. I was invited to use the self-service outside. But if I and all other visitors, have to use the self-services, why do we need all this people at the desk? I am against self-service. I want more people working, more librarians, especially more competent librarians. As said before, the library is excellent.

I am so thankful that this establishment exists. You can walk in freely and work in calm what ever that you are working on. Don't need to register or pay anything. I spend our 100hrs in this place and I am sure I will spend another 100hrs.

Just a perfect place to learn I can't think of what is missing:)

The staff is friendly and ready to help.
They have free Wifi.
Books are well organized and the range is incredible.
Facilities are always clean and they have nice small food corner which is not expensive just make sure you have cash if you are not a student.

In my experience, the learning landscape that belongs to the university library is the best place to learn within Switzerland. A lot of space is offered and despite all the many students it is always dead quiet in there, which is very conducive to concentration.

Good learning / working atmosphere / good infrastructure

A wonderful example of converting an industrial heritage, i.e. the Sulzer Areal into another purpose. The architecture design left many objects, e.g. cranes and steel structures so it shows the history and evolution from industrial to information economy. The library is very modern with high tech features. I am also impressed by the noise reduction and cool yet warm atmosphere.

Old building used new and preserved flair. Unfortunately as a university library not for "guests".

Great library. Also the learning landscape to learn, unfortunately the opening times of the learning landscape for the public are rather short, especially on weekends.

Modern and beautiful library. Disappointing service. Library cancels service and penalizes users for it. I find it strange that mowing takes place even though the library is closed. At least active communication about the limited return options in an email or an adjustment of the incorrectly stated opening times on Google would be useful. I understand that the library approaches the "back-to-normal" cautiously, but I don't understand the lack of understanding of the COVID-19 situation of others.

After 8:00 p.m. only the library is closed. But you can still learn. Because there is a very good learning area on the top floor. In the learning area, if you are there before 8 p.m., learn as much as much as you want.

A 1A infrastructure for students. Generous that ZHAW students are granted 24-hour access. In the learning phases over the holidays and in May / June, hell is going on.

Ingenious architecture! A modern library was created from an old industrial wasteland! Great atmosphere!
