It s been several years since I ve visited Zen Zero and I must say, they still hold up. Great food, we had the drunken noodles and steak with bok choy - delicious. The service was extremely professional. Overall a great experience. I only don t go here more because I unfortunately don t live in Lawrence anymore, however when I come back and visit I will definitely go to Zen Zero!

Really poorly done food. The noodles were over cooked and gummy, the chicken was tough and skimpy, the sauce was one dimensional and poor, like it was canned. My coconut bubble tea was flavorless, like canned coconut milk pored is a glass with ice. I wasn t expecting it to be as good as the Thai food in DC, but it was so bad I had them throw most of it away. The only good thing was that it is relatively cheap.

What to say....?....14 years of superb meals. Never have I had a bad one. Best food in Lawrence. Menu selection is superb. Atmosphere is wonderful and kids are always happy when they eat here. For the money you get triple the value.

Excellent! Atmosphere is clean and hipster- felt a bit crowded, but we were glad to be seated right away! Service was great. They serve delicious complimentary shrimp crisps to every table upon sitting down. It was a perfect light snack before our food arrived. I had the clear soup, the others in my group had the spring roll salad and curries. Everything was fantastic and served in large portion sizes. Overall Zen Zero is a great spot if your looking for a healthy and flavorful meal! I highly recommend!

Their food is always amazing; it is so nice they are back open for dine-in. Seating is limited due to social distancing but there is also some outdoor stuff in the works. I really missed this place and was so happy to return.

My friend is a pure vegetarian. The dish ordered was vegetarian. After asking the server. When it arrived we had a taste and because it smelled wierd we asked the server if it had any non-vegetarian stuff in it. So he went back to the kitchen and found out there was fish in it. Potential vegetarians beware. They did apologize, as well as bring out a new dish so kudos for that. Personally my dish was just good. It lacked punchiness and overall flavor. Good for a one time try. Their cocktails also followed the same story.

Delish Thai food, great happy hour specials (they make a mean martini), they have bubble tea, and several very nice desserts, which is unexpected. The prices are good the portions are large, and they don't shy away from heat. They are not able to adjust down the heat level for dishes BUT they list menu items in order of heat levels, and clearly tell you what to expect.

What happened to this place? I ordered phad thai 1/2 shrimp 1/2 chicken. I got 2 shrimp and less than a dozen tiny pieces of chicken. It tasted good, but for the price I expect a little more...

Underwhelming. Started with ribs, chicken satay, and calamari. The ribs were not very tender and were kind of gray, not very good. The satay was good. The calamari was so overcooked that you could actually chew through it because it was so dry. That said, it was still edible. Had the Singapore noodles with pork for entree. It was just meh. The server was nice and attentive. I won't be back. There are much better restaurants in town.

The food here is always top notch. Prices very reasonable. Great casual setting and calm decor. The service is usually really good as well but the food can take a little long. Be careful ordering any extra spice because it can be surprising!

Seems like quite a nice place. Broad menu with lots of interesting drinks. The food was hot, fresh, and clearly prepared with skill ... but the Pad Thai I had was INCREDIBLY SWEET. It literally tasted like candy to me. I'll probably go back to try something else at some point, but I'll never have that again.

Promised a gift card and was lied to by the owner. He said he mailed it but he NEVER intended to give a gift card. This is a worse situation than the original issue. One of Zen Zero's bartenders allowed someone to drink out of my long island, what made that bad was it was my first long island I had ever ordered at Zen Zero, ugh.... But it's all good. Used to people lying, especially in this day and age!!!
