Excellent Thai restaurant. Service is prompt and attentive. Very accommodating if you have specific requests or allergies. They offer mild, medium, hot and Thai hot. Food portions are just enough. We love the cucumber salad and the pineapple rice as a side dish.

We had a large party of about 12 adults and 2 kids, and basically everyone said this was the best Thai food they have had. I had a yellow curry with medium spice which was delicious, and very spicy for me. They also have hot and Thai hot options which I assume are weapons-grade spicy. Excellent wine as well, and a beautiful atmosphere.

Simply one of the best authentic Thai restaurants in the Daytona Beach area. All of the staff are very friendly and willing to make dishes exactly how you like--important for diners with allergies. Very popular for lunch during the work week and you'll often see a few very expensive cars (Maserati, Tesla, Porche, etc) parked nearby as the place is frequented by some local lawyers and real estate agents. All in all, a great place to dine! Pro tip: Get there before noon to ensure a quick seating for lunch.

The new location on Magnolia is more roomy and nicer than the old location on Bay St. Same really good food. My Spicy Noodles with pork was very good, although the pork was a little on the dry side. My Sweet Thai tea was delicious. The inside dining area can be loud due to conversations, I think they need to add some sound absorbing panels to the walls and/or ceiling.

I agree with some of the other negative reviews below. I also want to add, the chicken was bland, no salt, no flavor, like old cardboard, the veggies were old and tasteless, bad. Even the rice was tasteless like cardboard, come on. They need to use fresh veggies and actually taste them before they use them. i don't know how they are storing them but, either they are prepped too early in the day or they are buying old non quality produce or they are not stored right and they are serving bad veggies. Also, that chicken, come on, some salt etc. is needed, that should be a givn. Maybe they are doing the same with the chicken, prepping it too early not salting it, who knows where or how they store it, maybe they are buying poor quality meat etc. but, point is chicken needs to have flavor and veggies need to be fresh and crisp or these things spoil the whole dish. Good cooks know this.

The place is excellent for Thai cuisine with a slight modern touch. But the dishes here and amazing. Be careful with spicy ness as Thai hot is really spicy. The papaya salad is very good and their curries are great. They some times have coconut moscato which is a must try, pairs well with the stir fried noodles or Phadtai. The friend banana with ice cream is great and some time they will have coconut rice with mango (many people crave) but I am not a big fan of it.

Love

Went to Zen Bistro for a group dinner. There 13 of us. The employees were friendly and courteous. I had never been there but had heard many good things. My wife I had steamed gyoza (dumplings), pinapple curry medium, sweet and spicy Thai peanut dish. All we're fantastic. Even had Thai iced tea ice cream pie for dessert. Everyone was very happy with their meals. The restaurant was very clean, and they have an outdoor patio and bar. Live music was about to begin. Would definitely go there again.

We come here to eat from Palm Coast. We love everything about this place. The food, ambience and service is top notch. We always go for lunch so the prices seem low to us. The menu is simple to understand. Very easy to order.

Delicious! Great place to grab a quick bite at lunch. Lunch prices and portions are just right. Great value for such a tasty meal. If it's spicy you're looking for, you can order well above thai hot. I have a friend who loves spicy #9. No reservations at lunch, but you can call ahead if you're in route with a larger group. Dinner reservations are available. Cute venue with outdoor seating available.

Such a cozy place. Fantastic food, excellent staff. Service was outstanding. The host, servers and bartenders were all so friendly and tentative. The atmosphere in the outdoor area is so beautiful and peaceful. We received our food quickly and it was absolutely delicious. We started planning our next visit there while we were eating because we just loved it that much. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing Thai food. Prices are fair. Huge selections of Thai food. The outside seating and bar can be nice during the not so hot food months. Great place to go for drinks, good food, and friends.

Went for lunch around 2 pm. Nice outdoor seating. Ordered Penang Curry - medium- and Tom Yum soup. My friend ordered Pad Thai(Thai hot)and Spicy Fried Rice. The curry was pretty good and soup as well. No complaints from the other side of the table we ate it all.
Not as spicy as you would expect from a Thai restaurant. If you re looking for some heat definitely don t be afraid to order Thai hot.

Sorry no pictures was in a hurry

Our 11 yr. old granddaughter picked this spot for dinner and it was a great choice. Large menu, something for everyone. The Thai Iced Tea was SO delicious, excellent food and good prices. This is a popular spot, very busy and the restaurant was full. Very clean, great team service, everyone who came to our table was friendly and quick to refill drinks etc. We ll go there again!

The food is good, but the managers don t understand customer service. If you order anything you don t like you re not permitted to swap it out for a dish or item you d prefer, you will be charged double. I get if you did that to your entire menu, but when you spend a good amount of money and they re petty over a an inexpensive menu item they can t change out, it its nickel and diming the customer it becomes an unpleasant experience. Also the prices are more expensive than all the other Thai places in the area.

Mediocre food. Bad service and attitude. I used to dine here when I visited Daytona but this time they messed up the order and the waiting staff didn't even apologize. Sorry my business goes elsewhere.

Excellent food and very pleasant staff. We're only in town for a week, but we're definitely coming back before we leave. The pumpkin curry was AMAZING! We sat on the patio and relaxed to the sounds of the fountain and soft music as we ate our lunch. Great prices as well. You need to eat here!!!

Amazing restaurant!!! There is so much to say! The pineapple curry is great and you can even ask for the spice ON THE SIDE! This way it isn't too spicy (cause you can't take away spice once it's on) or if you like really spicy you can add a lot more than the kitchen would. The fried tofu was something on a whim we tried and turns out really good, it acts like a vessel for the sauce -which is also great. They also bring you water like they do in Europe, which is in a medium jug/pitcher and your glass and then you fill it up as needed. Their attention to detail was great, they even cut the veggies pretty, and the plating was beautiful (even Instagram or Pinterest worthy). The prices were great because it even yields left overs with the curry.

Bland at best. Spoiled back home. They put white onions in the Tom Kha soup. Not a fan. Portions are lacking compared to what we are used to. Staff was GREAT . Other patrons were so obnoxious and loud that we were coerced to getting our dinner to go. I feel like my money would've been better spent elsewhere. Again, staff was great. Food, not so much.

Food was very good. I had Waiwai noodles with duck. The combination was great. Ordered a bottle of plum wine for $16($20 later in evening. ) Service was great and we watched as they wiped down all surfaces before seating is. Will definitely come back.

My favorite place for Pad Thai. Business folks gather for lunch most days and it gets quite busy but I like to go on off hours to enjoy a relaxing delicious meal. Parking is along the street. Friendly servers who explain the menu with a smile.

This place is amazing. We bounced off of another place because of how busy it was and landed here. The wife isn't as adventurous as I am, was "fine" to try this place. Asian food isn't her preference. We both agree it was an unbelievable experience. Gyoza app steamed was so good we ordered another batch at her request. She had pad Thai chicken, I had green curry fish. Hate to keep using the word amazing, but it was.

They were busy, we had a tiny, barely noticeable, easily forgivable wait. They came around and offered dessert as an apology, we blew it off and said we didn't need an apology. When the check came they had taken *both* appetizers off. Again, amazing.

Truly deserving of the name Zen. It was blissful Zen eating here, so glad the other place was busy! Go here, tip well, they deserve it!
