Food was good just had a real slow waitress, that took a long time to get waited on right from the start,and didn't bring drink refills,or come check on us had to constantly have someone find her for us !
Stopped by the cafe in the lower level, no waiting around 11am.

Water park is terrific. Lots to keep you and the kids occupied. Our room was exactly as described online. It was very clean. We had asked for an extra cot and it was there in the room waiting. We had absolutely nothing to complain about. Will definitely come back again.
First time eating here. We went with the buffet. I was blown away with everything on there. The chicken was nice and juicy. I couldn't eat it fast enough. The slaw was the best. The mashed potatoes and gravy was out of this world. I went back for seconds. The sausage and sauerkraut were delicious! The shrimp where perfectly cooked. I left there sides and happy as did my fiance. We would definitely go back!!!
Usually love this place BUT chicken overcooked. For 30.00$ per person meal should be perfect.
Food was absolutely disgusting, there was no seasoning in the breading and they use the same breading for all things fried!!

I always like that place Zehnders. They have good food. After you eat you can go down stairs to my Favorite shops to find all your goodies to eat. Ok I'm on my way there now. Talked myself into going back

I was there on Sept 1 and it was without a doubt the worst meal I have ever eaten. Chicken was dry and tasteless, potato s out of a package, veggies over cooked and for sure out of a can, pork was chewy and tough, desserts (5 types) were made with canned cherries. The entire meal was completely disappointing, with one exception, the gravy. It was very good. I will never waste $30 on such a horrible meal there ever again!
Great atmosphere and good food. The chicken of course is good, but they have some other good dishes also. The service has always been great. Been here several times and it's always been enjoyable.

Slow service,not enough assistance from the staff,poor appearance and taste of food and over priced,not equal distribution of food but you were charged full price.
Went to basment diner part for faster service however staff was very rude and I ordered my food the way I wanted it..after waiting 25 mins for food it was cold so I didn't bother to eat it..no point sending back didnt have another half hour to kill..otherwise great shopping and sights.

They gave me a FREE chicken dinner with all the fixing, for my birthday! The food and service was spectacular. I took so much home, after filling myself up. They give you plenty of food. I recommend this place! Sign up for their free birthday meal! SO WORTH IT!!!!
My wife and I stopped at this restaurant on 10 June 2020. The food was absolutely horrible! Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone! Save your money.
Satisfactory service. I was expecting better. Chicken was kind of dry. Service was slow but friendly. My glass of water had a metallic taste which was very predominant. I don't think I will return.
Our party of 6 ordered the $26 buffet.. Don't normally get a buffet but it seemed to be the best value even though the chicken was what we were most excited about.. All were disappointed with the chicken which was very dry( including leg and thigh) and lacked seasoning, The chicken noodle soup was bland and lacking much taste. Shrimp was pretty good. Other items OK and service was good. We did not complain but should have.

The only thing I can compliment is the amazing service here. Our hostess and server were amazing. The food was horrible, so incredibly bad, and that's even if we had paid $10 per person rather than the crazy high price of $23, per plate, the food was truck stop hot lamp quality. Stay far away!
You can always depend on a tasty meal and terrific service and ambience. However, the waits can be long and the dinner prices are creeping up.
I have been visiting Zehnder's for over 30 years. A few years ago, I introduced my husband to Zehnder's and he loves it as much as I do. We went for an early lunch yesterday at 11am. The young man at the reservation desk was very friendly and welcoming. Once seated, our server Jan introduced herself and took our drink orders. Honestly, she was one of the best waitresses we have ever encountered. She was very personable and so on top of bringing food and drinks to the table. We did not have to ask for anything, she was always one step ahead of us. Thank you, Jan, for making us Canadians feel so welcome (and so full haha). I highly recommend Zehnder's. Make your reservation online in advance to avoid waiting in line. The food was fanatastic as always. My husband loves the chicken, and my favourite is the buttered noodles. Afterwards, be sure to pop down to the Zehnder's bakery. :)
Food was typical. Bland. Liver patte was not good. Lots of food for the price though. Over priced bland food. Service wasn't bad for a Saturday afternoon. Glad we got there early. No way would I stand outside in the cold for that food experience.

Best restaurant for chicken on the planet! We took my girlfriend's mother there to celebrate her 100th birthday and we couldn't have made a better choice. There were 15 of us and ONE waiter took care of everything. Fantastic food, fantastic service. This place never fails to amaze.
Always a great time. The food is delicious. The atmosphere just makes it so much better. The only down side is the fact that you'll have to mortgage your house to afford dinner.

Well GPS pick us up at zehnder"s but were at bavarian inn knocking some drinks back busy busy having a good time.

The service was excellent. Our servers were attentive and friendly. The meal was not up to the usual standard here. We had a party of 9. Everyone who had chicken found it to be very dry and salty. We wonder if it was ready and left under warming lights. Even my husband's livers were very dry. Three of us added noodles to our orders, they arrived warm and dry. We know that we were there at a shift change, but we were disappointed with the normally great food.

The food was ok. It's basically cafeteria food with a 28 dollar a plate price tag. Feel like the hype of the State's best fried chicken is what it is. Hyped up. Felt like I could have made dinner better at home. The wait for someone to bring us beverages was long. The wait for the food was long and all in all just not worth the money we spent.
Everybody has to do Zehnder's chicken. The setting is warm and really big.
I could wrote a long article about the best food and shop with the best service around.

Go eat there. Try the chicken the dinners are amazing and go down and buy yourself something nice in the shops.
Great dinner, fantastic presentation of multi course meal. Very cool experience for our teenage grandkids. Highly, highly recommend. Our server did a fantastic job!
I couldn't believe what we saw. The waitress setting up the table in front of our table put the napkins with the silverware on the chairs where people were sitting before. It's disgusting. We clean our mouths with those napkins . We reported it another waitress and we thought the supervisor was going to come to our table and apologize in person, but she never came. Also, a hair was on the cover of our bread plate. Our waitress took it back and never apologized. So disappointed and disgusting. Also, I was reallly surprised how much more expensive the food. And I agree with the other reviews. Food is not really great for the money.
