Really great happy hour and delicious food. Definitely a good option for a quick bite. Their Kung Pao cauliflower is to die for and don't forget the cheesecake! Has a great beer selection as well.
Very good Traditional American restaurant. The food was great. The best buffalo wings and grilled salmon. Service is nice. They even prepared nice roses on the table for Valentine (even its 5 say before Valentine :) Overall great experience.
Not bad. Was a little disappointed by the filet sandwich though. It was pretty tough and definitely wasn't a filet cut.

Used to be better. They used to have a big, juicy burger on a hard roll with big fat steak fries. Now it's a much smaller burger on an average bun with weak fries. I wish I could rate it higher. Good service and neighborhood feel.
It is not well lit. Very loud. My lovely girlfriend have the beef ravioli. It was pretty terrible with a side of awful. I had the Tata something it was good. It had a tasty lemon sauce but after 2 bites it became flavorless. They had really good bread. I will never go back.

My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to stumble across Zack s last night and I can t say enough good things. Our server was diligent and kind but not pushy or overly attentive. The Madame Agave was one of the best cocktails I ve ever had. The food was reasonably priced and delicious and the seating outside was so enjoyable. I can t wait to return!
Went to Zack's first time recently after living in Hoboken for over two years. My wife and I enjoyed the food and found the service to be excellent. Would recommend giving it a try.
One of my favorite nights in Jersey took place here! Everything was delicious! My group was actually walking to another restaurant and we passed by this one and decided to check it out. The customer service was superb. The waitress was attentive and efficient. I had a large group so we were able to try a lot of different menu items. To start, we had Mac & cheese..it was baked and cheesed to perfection! We also had the burrata and mushroom soup which were also excellent! I personally had the Steak and Fries as an entree and it was cooked perfectly and fries were so addicting the whole table kept coming back to the plate. We also had the Willow sandwich and of course their popular stuffed chicken! I m not sure what they put in their sauce but it s darn good! We split a bottle of Vina Robles Cabernet Sauvignon which was divine. Love this place!

wow mishandling reservations and walkins. I dont even know where to start 6 people doing nothing. 24 seats empty ...I got to eat but in all my years in this business I have never seen a restaurant with such good food throw away thousands of dollars on a Friday night I don't even think they know thier own table turn numbers ( looking for silver in a gold mine) I will be back loved my filet

Basic food in a basic setting. There weren t any stand outs at this restaurant and not much to note on. The food was fine and the staff hurried us with our selections and while we ate. That is the reason for the 3 star. I don t like to be rushed in deciding on what to eat or while I m eating. Other than that, it was an uneventful restaurant.

Great drafts on tap. The atmosphere is lively with a great bar. I always get the Willow with cheddar and it s cooked to perfection.

The bartenders, I think their names were Max and Ashley, were super friendly and attentive the whole time. The cocktails were delicious. We got food and it was honestly some of the best food I ve had in Hoboken. I would highly recommend the turkey burger.
I recently had a date night out and came across Zack's restaurant and bar in Hoboken, New Jersey not only was the Food and Drinks Great so was the customer service to myself I had the Stuffed Chicken with the notoriously famous mac & cheese which are absolutely delicious. I definitely plan on returning soon it's a great spot two thumbs up for you guys.
Very pricey for sandwiches.. like $17 for a rather small chicken sandwich. This area has a Hoboken hipster vibe. That said. I really enjoyed my hot and sweet fried chicken sandwich and Stella
Friday night, busy and full of families. Nice beer/wine selection. Mussels were excellent, Calamari a B+, Brisket sliders were a bargain and tasty. Pasta with shrimp, the signature stuffed chicken beast and a vodka pasta all won high praises. Would go back for the stuffed chicken with asparagus, a real winner. I'd recommend it, nice room, and excellent service. Fairly loud, plenty of happy kids though. Locals say there's better but this is a solid "A" in my book.
Food and drinks were fabulous. Special order accomplished with no problem. Beautiful place and great service. Downside was the music. Way too loud and took away from beautiful atmosphere.

Came here for my anniversary and had a beautiful candlelit dinner! Food is quite savory and came surprisingly fast... our waitress was super friendly & catered well to our needs! Loved that the waterfront is not too far from the restaurant!
Zack's offer a variety of options within their menu and I can say that everything taste as good as it looks on the menu. The server and bar staff are excellent. The food is moderately priced so you can enjoy delicious food even on a budget.
Never been to a restaurant where the Waitress was too busy flirting with customers rather than attending to customers tables. The chicken sandwich which they claim to be known for is simply a chik fil a sandwich. Fries tasted frozen and the calamari tasted chewy and rubbery. The tap water was very chlorinated.(ever heard of filters?) Would expect better from a well known top restaurant in Hoboken.

Very nice place 1 block away from apt. Server took personal interest in each of our orders. The food was prepared and presented well. we sat in a little corner with privacy. Will be back again.
We really enjoyed our visit. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We started with chicken cheddar empanadas and enjoyed penne vodka w/ chicken and a classic burger as our meals. The ambiance was cool and I can't say enough about the staff. They were friendly, attentive and accommodating. Kaelyn took really good care of us, she was awesome. Our food was brought out quickly. Her suggestions we're on point. She consistently checked up on us to make sure we were good. We could not have asked for more. Zack's instantly became a must visit again for us. Definitely recommend it, it is worth the visit.

Normally come to this place for drinks. But their food menu is really good. The bartenders are always offering you new drinks or beers. It's located a few streets away from Washington street which makes it Ideal for a romantic dinner.
Food was great and once we were seated the service was good as well. Our issue was that we had a reservation and upon arriving were told we would have to wait 10 or 15 minutes, no problem there, we understand. Unfortunately it was an hour and a half past our reservation that we finally sat down. Apparently the owner showed up right before our reservation and needed a table for 10, so we were treated very poorly. While waiting at the bar it took us 30 minutes to get 3 beers. It was very disappointing. No attempt was made to "make it right", no appetizer or anything. Needless to say very disappointed.

Zack's is a combination bar with high tables and a small area with tables, about10. The bar area is about 2/3 of the space and the restaurant about 1/3.
The brunch menu is very simple with several brunch type offerings. The rest is burgers, two steak sandwiches and salads. Prices are moderately priced. We had a burger, steak sandwich and the arugula salad with chicken. The burger was the best offering, cooked to order, followed by the steak sandwich and the arugula salad which was ample. The chicken was simply grilled.
Service was only adequate, nothing memorable.
The experience was satisfactory, but there are better choices nearby. Would suggest that the menu could be improved by more diversity. Service should go up as well.
Great place for a quick bite, the food was also great. I never give anyone a 5. If you give everyone fives and they have nothing to strive for. But this place is great.
