It was a great experience to tour the brewery and catch a bit of history. Our tour guide Lou was outstanding with her information about the operation. The gift shop was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The new golden pilsner is excellent. Thank you to the whole yuengling family. Carry on beautiful job!

Okay, we need to stay ahead of this outbreak and shore up Pennsylvania's Strategic Reserves of Yuengling Lager. Carlisle Barracks, Ravensrock Complex, and the underground facilities in Butler on my side of the state are all perfect places. Also a decoy yuengling factory in Pottstown can't hurt. We can make it out of cardboard.

This place was a lot of fun. They offer a free tour which lasts about an hour. At the end of the tour you receive 2 free tastings of the beer. There is a bar at the end of the tour that you can hangout at. Overall this was a great experience and I really enjoyed it

Very interesting history here. Went with some friends for a tour of the brewery. The tour itself is free as long as you schedule in advance (even day before or day of can be ok if they have the availability). We got there about an hour early and coincidentally another group had canceled so they took us on an earlier tour right away. The tour guide was nice and super knowledgeable. Best of all they let you sample a couple beers at the end in their tasting room! Nothing beats free beer of any quantity! They might even give you a taste of a beer still in the works and unreleased if they've got any.

The tour is surprisingly detailed and up-close. Our tour guide, Stacy, was knowledgeable, professional and obviously enjoys giving tours. Every employee we encountered displayed pride in the Yuengling Company and in the company's beers.

Free tour, happening every hour. Go on a weekday when they are canning for a good experience in the bottle area. Each tour gets two samples afterwards at the tasting bar in the gift shop. Great time viewing America's Oldest Brewery!

This is a free tour that requires walking through wet tunnels, and climbing stairs. It is more of a historical/operation tour, than about beer brewing. With that said, I thought the tour was neat. The history was interesting. The staff was friendly enough. And you get samples at the end! I'd recommend this tour!

Great place to visit outstanding knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very interesting tour that actually takes you through the operations of actual brewery and not just some museum like some other breweries that I have toured. Great gift shop and would definitely go back.

Great experience and friendly staff. Bring lots of quarters. Parking sucks and local Government doesn't seem to understand the business that Yuengling provides to the area. They WILL ticket you first chance they can and the municipal building has extremely rude staff. Enjoy your experience.

I have been on the tour a few years ago and since then they opened up a new visitors center where they start the tours. They let small kids join the tour which I felt was disruptive. Parents were not controlling their kids and this delayed the pace of the tour. When we finally got to the end where they were canning the beer, the production line had just shut down and we missed the most interesting part of the tour. There is no need to take kids younger than 12 on this tour. Otherwise it was nice and the tour guide was excellent and very accommodating even to the kids who kept asking her questions.

We drove from Central Jersey for the tour on my husband's 29th birthday. 100% worth it!! The tour was great, the history of the brewery is very interesting. The coolest part was checking out the bottling and canning area.. it was mesmerizing! Our tour guide was great, we had a lot of fun.

Free beer at the end of the tour!

Their gift shop is awesome. We bought a couple shirts, some glasses, and a growler. When my husband showed his ID they gave him a poster signed by the owner, Richard Yuengling, because it was his birthday!

Been there many, many times. Definitely worth the trip to see brewery and gift shop, friendly family like atmosphere ,great selection of collectibles, shirts and also beer available for taking home. If you ever have a problem with any product of theirs, costumer service is the best, cause it usually goes right to the top of the ladder!, proud to say Yuengling s made in Pennsylvania

This is the oldest brewery in America. The free tour tells how it all started, what happened during during Prohibition and a detail of all the brews offered. This is an operating facility. The gift shop offers many items with the Yuengling logo and yes, there is beer for sale. The tour ends with a free sample. Birch beer is available for non drinkers. You must be 21 and wear closed toe shoes to go on the tour.

We are fans of Yuengling beer so coming to the brewery was high on our list when we happened to be close by. The tour was great as well as the gift shop. I especially enjoyed the free tasting after the tour was over. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and we had a really good time. One thing to note is you have to have closed toe shoes to be allowed to go in the tour. If you don t have a pair you are able to purchase some at the gift shop for a fair price.

Despite one very rude employee we had a wonderful time touring the brewery. We took a trip out to the brewery this past Monday; our tour guide Amber was knowledgeable and friendly. The two tastings afterward were a nice finish to the tour. I grew up in NJ and my husband and I love Yuengling. We now live in Texas where they do not sell it. Visiting the brewery with family was a real treat for us. We brought my son along who s almost 4. He behaved wonderfully during the tour and enjoyed a tasting of birch beer at the end. The only issue we had was when we checked in for our tour at the front desk. A woman around 50 with dark hair said I would have to hold him during the tour, which I understood and did. When I turned my back she said, this isn t a babysitting service. My mother and I both heard this statement and considered leaving but decided not to let her bad attitude spoil our day. I guess I m used to Texas now, where most breweries and wineries are family friendly. Regardless, we enjoyed everything else, including the large gift shop!

August 2020. It's Yuengling! It's all good! We weren't able to go on the tasting tour because of the number of stairs to climb, but we enjoyed the gift shop and the brewery as much as we could. Great gift shop and great beer.

Wow!!! If you are ever in the area, you have to take a tour of this place. Very informative and interesting. They even take you to the original storage caves utilized before refrigeration. Sample the different brews at the end of the tour...nice touch. The brewery is historic in its design and well worth a trip to see.

Nice tour and it's free. Guide was very good and informative. Since it's the oldest brewery in the nation the tour's like a walk back in time. Liked the caves.Well worth the time even if you don't drink beer.
