A regular stop on my way to work, the finest roasted coffee in and out of the area. Comfortable seating, friendly and knowledge staff. If I don't stop by three or four times a week, something is wrong!

Hands down the best coffee shop in the area. Can't go wrong with any of their numerous varieties of coffees. The cold brew coffee at turnstile is incredible; the drink is rocket fuel without being super bitter like most espressos tend to be. Rook doesn't hold a candle to this place. Turnstile is a family run business and you can taste superiority of their coffee over Rook's.

Unique spot. Limited selection of dark roast coffee, but plenty of medium roast coffee to choose from. Slow pour coffe is usually the best, but I felt my coffee was a little bland. I will try again. Staff was pleasant abd helpful.
Coffee is good but very pricey. I have trouble justifying paying well over $3 for a 22 oz coffee or almost $6 for a cold brew. Also, their limited hours don't always work for me. They don't open until 7 I think and they close before I get home from work.
I use the Coffee Hound in Bloomington, Illinois as the ultimate benchmark for excellent coffee when I rate other coffee shops...it's a level rarely achieved. This coffee shop has excellent decor, great marketing, and friendly staff. The LaMarzocca Espresso machine is the very same model I learned on. The espresso is good, and allow me to qualify that. It tastes like it was brewed perhaps too quickly, is slightly over-roasted, for me, and has a bit of an after taste. The roaster informed me that they did in fact start roasting the beans darker, just shy of city-plus. It is, however, very enjoyable. The baked goods are excellent. Latte art was good. The price was a bit high but it is the east coast. $15.46 for two baked goods and two lattes. 4.5/5

Over priced frewfu coffee. Walked in and no one was behind the counter. Had to wait for someone to make an appearance. Coffee was weak and poorly presented. The atmosphere was the only positive.

This place is awesome. First, the coffee is fantastic. I chose a pour over coffee - and the sweetness and acidity level shows an acute attention to detail. The bagel, fresh and delicious. Rustic atmosphere, but not pretentious. Solid place.

Good coffee and cozy spot to bring a laptop or book to relax or do some work. Im more of a dark roast, low acidity coffee person so i tend to come here only once and a while since most of their coffee is light/med roasts. But there coffee is very good and the workers are very friendly!

Have been a customer of Turnstile for some time, it's my favorite coffee shop in the greater shore area. They roast great coffee and offer a super calm and relaxed environment to hang out in with a friend or get some work done.
This is a great place! I love that they have a coffe roaster that its just amazing and beautiful. Very froendly service, and its a great substitute for a Starbucks. Coffee is a little strong, but delicious.

They kicked me out of this coffee shop. I brought my own coffee. I m very picking about my coffee order which why I did that. I ordered something else but said I can t be in there with my own coffee. Never going back. I paid for food to eat and do my homework. Absolutely disgusted. Never going here again.

I had a business meeting here this week. The man I was meeting was coming from Toms River and I was coming from Elberon. We we're looking for something in between the two spots. I knew of this from having lunch many times across the street at Mr Shrimp but had never been in this coffee place. I arrived before the other guy. I knew at once it was a great choice. Excellent vibe, clean place, smiling faces. We enjoyed our visit immensely and had a long quiet private productive talk. The cappuccino was delicious. Great experience all the way around and will most definitely be back to see them. Thanks!
