My son enjoyed a week long camp at youthfront. His friend who was supposed to sign up for the same week did not which could have been a problem. The camp was so well run and full of fun activities. He loved everything about it!

Highly recommended!

I've volunteered here multiple times when my Church went as a group, and I think this is a great camp for middle school boys and girls. There are so many fun things for the kids to do from the pool to the snack shop and games to the water slide and lake activities to paintball and on and on. More importantly, though, they provide the opportunity for kids to encounter Jesus. It's amazing during worship when you see the kids raising their hands together, worshiping God or taking notes during a teaching lesson. They provide these opportunities without forcing it on anyone. Small group discussion times are led in a non-threatening environment where everyone is accepted and valued, and kids can ask questions and grow in their faith. I enjoyed my time here, and I know the kids always do too.

Today I visited the camp.... A lot has changed since it first opened. Yes I was there that first year. No doors on the cabins that year, and it was bare bones. Since then several more cabins have been added , a dining hall, and several more buildings. I too fell in love there although I don't know what has become of her. They taught me how to witness for Christ there. I think often about sleeping out under the stars lying on the balcony of cabin 3 for four summers. Now cabin 3 is cabin 4 and there is no balcony....however the silly spiral staircase is there.

I ve been to church camps before but none can attest to the likings of Youthfront. The idea of multiple cabins instead of one large one is genius and creates a cleaner feeling. The sermons hit straight to home and are really motivational. The staff are all amazing and it s a really nice camp.

Lets be honest, this is simply an indoctrination facility. My mother sent me here in 2004 despite me making it clear to her I didnt believe the same things she did. Despite having many fun camp activities and being obviously well funded... fun, and childhood memories are off the table if you aren't already HEAVILY into Jesus. I was bullied by the other kids for not being enthusiastic about the forced sermons several times a day. The "worship" is very much song and dance style so that it keeps the kids attention, and if you don't want to wave your hands around and cry openly about Jesus you get singled out for "special counselling", where the staff sit down with you and explain how not opening your heart to jesus (or equally trite nonesense) is the reason you are so unhappy... nope, the reason I was unhappy was because I saw how fake it all was... kids barely old enough to make their own decisions being forced to recite empty lines about their love for jesus while wrapping it in camp activities to make it attractive. I imagine ill get some hate flung at me for postig this, but i need to stick up for kids with parents like mine. If your child does not have a strong jesus conviction, PLEASE don't force them to go to this camp. I suffered bullying and anguish because I didnt believe and nearly had a complete breakdown by the end of camp. If your kid wants to go here. Great. If they don't, PLEASE do not force them.

First experience was golden. Great directions, properly labelled by signs, very organized from parking, checking and day 1. At p/u same thing very organized. Friendly, teens/volunteers/adults. My daughter loved the lake and cant wait to go back. She did the 2.5 day camp.

I only went to this camp back when it was Circe-C Ranch back in 1983 and 1984. My life was forever changed on June 29, 1983 when I was first introduced to Jesus through the preaching of Rev. Clyde Chiles! Sometimes you wonder if one week of summer camp can make a difference for a confused kid who didn't grow up in the church. 33 years later I am still walking with Christ, I have served full-time as a pastor for the last 22 years and I am presently working on my D.Min. in Pastoral Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary! My life was forever changed during my first week at Circle-C! I have three children who all know the Lord and an amazing wife of almost 12 years! I can still remember walking out of the old chapel after coming to Christ and looking up at the stars on the clear Kansas night and realizing that everything was different!
