Best brewery in the area. The crew here is always welcoming and very knowledgeable. They like to experiment and nine times out of ten brew winners. So glad they call Canandaigua home. Phenomenal.

This place is great. Beer is fantastic. Staff and manager make you feel at home. Make sure you get the pretzel if you with friends to big to eat alone but just enough for four people. They also have a great wine selection too. Who needs cheers when you have Young Lion.
Thank you for a great night out.
First time big fan.

Love the environment of this place. My girlfriend and I hang out here quite often and have made an effort to meet the staff. Everyone is very cool and willing to talk. Awesome brewery environment.

A Stand-Out, Absolutely "Must Stop" Destination for Lovers of Genius Brews!

Young Lion may be the newest brewery on the block, but its craft beers may well be the best. Brewed by a creative and talented brew master, its range of styles please the palate and continually offers something new.

The tap room stands out for its friendly, beer-passionate, and knowledgeable staff. Located at the head of beautiful Lake Canadaigua, it's a must-stop destination for beer lovers, as well as those new to the world of craft beers.

Young Lion's inclusive community spirit extends to featuring on-tap offerings from other local breweries, as well as its own growing number of styles that pair well with its custom-crafted pretzels using its own beer-inspired recipe.

The state-of-the-art brewery and inviting tap room reflect the company's attention to every detail in the brewing process and tastes of each customer. We took home 32-ounce crowlers, filled at the draft tap and sealed, to extend our enjoyment the many tastes of this Finger Lake gem. I'm sure glad we did!

Young Lion is one of those special places where you may walk in a stranger but you'll leave feeling like it's your kind of place and tribe. Makes you wish you could live nearby year 'round!

It seemed like a place catering to yuppies, but it was actually very nice. Staff was friendly. Beer might be the best in the area! Very good. Didn't eat, but menu looked good too. Will be back with friends!

Amazing view! Even better service. First time at the brewery, long time fan of the beer. Our Server was outstanding! She was kind and very friendly! Never missing a refill. Glad we stopped for lunch!

Location, location, location! Right across the street from Kershaw park with a cute patio right on the main street. Great spot to people-watch with some excellent beers!

I wish they served food or offered menus from local eateries, many of which are close enough to deliver right to the brewery!

The beers are very good but there's also a personalized touch to every visit I've had there. Even just the little things like the stickers on the to go bags demonstrate that they care about their product more than just making a sale.

Very friendly upbeat place. We had a 30th birthday gathering today for our daughter. Dave one of the managers on duty was great to work with and did not catch the name of the other guy behind the bar who was also very nice.

Have been here enough times now to sample a very wide range of their beers and can say without equivocation that they re among the best in the Finger Lakes.

IPAs, goses, lagers, stouts, they hit on all styles well and they do it in an absolutely stunning taproom. Inside is clean and beautiful, outside gets you a view of the top of the lake. You can t go wrong.

Oh and come hungry so you can take down one of those hula hoop-sized soft pretzels of theirs.

Meh? The beers and giant pretzel were good but this place could use some operations help. When we got there, people were leaving because there were no tables. We got lucky that a table opened up but noticed after a while that dirty tables weren't being cleared. One sat untouched for 15-20m. The young kid that delivered our pretzel tossed it down on the table rudely and stormed off without a word. We noticed this demeanor with other customers as well. Since the main food attraction is finger foods, I'd love to see the bartenders sanitizing after checking people out and handling money and credit cards, but they weren't. It's hard right now not to get a little grossed out by about handling the glasses that the unsanitized bartender served us and then diving into the food. Also the paper menus at the register didn't match the board/taps, which is just a low-effort annoyance.

This place was super busy when we visited! There s a big bar and scattered tables, but it was so crowded that it was standing room only.

A lot of IPAs on tap, but they offer something for everyone. A few snacks are featured, but we didn t try any. Parking isn t great unless you can manage to snag something curbside.

The atmosphere was nice and the interior design is sleek and modern.

Arrived two hours before their posted closing time and all the doors were locked. People were inside drinking. Someone came to the door and said they were closed. Facebook page, website and sign on the door all said they closed at 8pm and it was 6pm. Two more groups of people walked up after us only to be told the same thing.
