Such a good experience for my fifth grade student. I was so glad to be able to come along. Horse back riding and learning to start a fire were some of her favorite classes! It was such a great way to learn new things!
Women's Wellness Weekend, first weekend after Labor Day, was Absolutely Awesome! I found out about it through the YMCA, but after the early registration deadline. It was still a bargain. My cabin was very near the water, food was good and well presented. Yoga, hiking, Nature walk, massage, facials and Reiki were most enjoyable. Registering early for 2018.
I didn't want to leave and when I was sitting down when they were doing the repeat after song and a man named Jacob helped me get on my feet he was very nice

I was here for a camping conference and was blown away. All of their facilities are beautiful and well maintained and their staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming.

I just came back from the camp it was great go Powell elementary.
An absolutely amazing place. Such thoughtful and caring community. Staff are truly passionate to be there and live the values they teach. Work with the groups coming in to meet their needs. Life long lessons and friendships formed that last long after the visit is over.
Had a great time. They got new bunkbeds since I had visited a year ago. This was my eighth winter going with our school. Staff is always helpful and nice.
My girls beg to go to this camp every summer for 2 weeks. That makes me feel they do such a great job with them and puts my mind at ease.

This campsite is really enjoyable to go to. My experience there was the first time I've been at a campsite before. The landscape is astounding. I like that the lodges and cabins are so secluded in the woods. I recommend going here if you want to go to a campsite in Southern Michigan next summer, or any summer.
I didn't like this camp I just got back and 4 am in the morning I was throwing up because of being food poisoned and some cabins had bed bugs
Our youth has been going on winter retreats here for years. Always have a great experience. Very friends and helpful staff.
I just got back from 5th Grade camp and it was AMAZING! The cabins are very nice! The staff is very nice, sweet, caring, and AWESOME! They take VERY good care of you (: and they're very funny to be around! I loved the classes like, Gimme Shelter, Underground R.R., and Michigan Country. The meals were amazing! I loved campfire night (: Tia, Dawon (i'm pretty sure I spelled that wrong, sorry), and Kane had very funny skits! I can't wait to come back for summer camp 2016!!

Great place to escape from technology and get back to nature. The staff were all friendly, energetic and knowledgeable. They had horseback riding, canoeing, rock climbing and so much more. Would definitely go back!
Camp is amazing! I've been going there since I was 3 (Age 15 currently), and have participated in Ranch, Family Camp, and Explorers. Restrooms are sanitary, meals are always served hot and delicious, and the staff are some of the best characters I've ever met. Yes, there are mosquitos. It is camp. You can't NOT expect those. Anyways, keep up the good work!
I went with my class last April, and had the experience of a lifetime! I absolutely loved all of the staff, and the food was astounding!
Thais place has lots of nice people. Every year they get new faces to join their staff. Great place!

they regularly bring in dogs to try to sniff them out, and they have remodeled buildings and bought new bunks, but they just cannot get rid of them.

It's been a good experience to have, in the midst of nature.
I just got home from camp and the food was a 100% good!!! I went in 5Th grade I go to Mason in Erie,MI. Of all of the that I could pick 3 would be Kane, Spencer, and Tia we did not get to see Tia that much. The year that we went is 2017 believe it or not we were the first school in 2017. Man I will miss that place. This is a 5 star place I loved it and I loved all the staff!!!! I am :( that we had leave so early!!! I mean I love all the food and the staff. I REALY want to go there again and again over and over and it would not be boring at all I loved that place.

All my classmates want to go again!! I went there in November and I loved it. we were the Dearborn schools. I was from Pardee. If this was another trip I would go. the food was delicious and I was a person who left my plate clean. it was that good!!

I went to this camp 2 x's while in 6th grade (switched schools in the middle of the year and got to go twice! ) This was 40 years ago!! I still have fond memories of all of the people and experiences while there. I highly recommend all kids go at least one time.
Learned how to gut a fish, make dandelion pancakes, survival techniques, canoe and the list goes on and on. Thanks for the years of great memories Camp Storer!

The best place in the world!!!! Stoney lake is breathtaking. Storer magic is all over. Super clean lodges amazing organization. Beautiful area with lots and lots a lots of sand hill cranes. If you ever have the change to go or send your kids for a overnight camp. GO!! They have family camps, kids camps, and women's adventures and wellness camp, father and son camp, School camp. Horse rides on Sunday go check out the website! Its AMAZING

The staff was funny and nice, the food was yummy, and, the cabins were very nice! I would not change one single thing about the camp it was so fantastic! I really enjoyed my time there and I would highly recommend going here if you want to do something enjoyable and fun!
Great camp for young kids. Our school does 7th grade camp there every year for the past 20sum years.
The staff are some of the most energetic people I have ever met. They do a great job with the kids and have an awesome facility.
Peaceful and scenic, fresh air and picturesque clouds, with a 3/4 moon makes for a refreshing walk. Amen.
YMCA Storer Camps is a great camp! There are a lot of opportunities for campers to get involved and be engaged in new activities and opportunities
The YMCA Storer camp was the BEST!!!!! My favorite part was the dining hall.
I was in a cabin with bed bugs, all of mine friends and me came home with a bunch of bites and super itchy. This was really bad because even after the dogs had searched out cabin they said not dogs found bed bugs even though there where definitely some in our cabin
The place was pretty boring, all but 3 staff members treated me an my friend like dirt, and everybody is stuck in tiny, boiling hot cabins while a few lucky people get to stay in a massive lodge with AC.
Pretty good. had to sing weird songs in the freezin cold. FOOD is great(salad bar, soup, and more)! Staff members are really nice and funny, and cabins are great, considering if you are in the new cabin, net zero. Came with friends, had a lot of fun! Definitely should come here, if you dont mind square dancing and singing weird song in front of the camp staff memebers! :)
I went there for 5th grade camp and I loved it the staff is amazing the cabins and lodges are amazing everything there is amazing I would not change a single thing the only thing I would change is the cost other wise I absolutely loved it
This was my worst camp experience ever. The food was disgusting,the staff was mean and I wanted to leave as soon as I got there.

My kids went here for two summers and loved every minute of it. If your kids like sleep away camp definitely give them a try. Lots of different activities for older and younger kids.

Went here as a 5th grader for camp. I stumbled and almost tripped when i accidentally glanced up and saw the night sky. My breathe was taken and my life was changed ever since. It was my first time seeing the night sky. The stars seemed so close you could touch them. I'm now 24 and i think of it Often. I remember Mr. obanbowla amd the Orange Zippy drink!

This camp is amazing I ve been going for six going on seven years never had one bedbug people who say they have gotten bedbug bites maybe they were mosquitoes staff is amazing food is amazing memories are amazing atmosphere is amazing they do a great job with choosing their summer staff/counselors bathrooms are well-kept wide variety of activities start sailing snorkeling Kayaking canoeing paddle boarding Rockwall climbing arts and crafts nature walks handling critters in the critter room chilling in the grass chilling indoors playing cards making boondoggle making friendship bracelets people who say they hate this camp are insane give this camp at least a shot you won t regret it if you do I personally will be shocked and apologize because if you have a bad Time it is a fluke it doesn t happen often they fixed this so-called bedbug problem
