The facility is older but in great shape. The staff for the most part are very kind and helpful.
My first biggest complaint is the hours. Alot of people who have memberships are unable to get the most out of their money. If you work 2nd or 3rd shift you will have to do some finagling with your time to work into their "time".
And and in my summation, that is what turns a lot, and i mean a LOT of people away. They are cutting themselves from a significant revenue bump. Imagine a "Y" that was open 24 hours.

Another shortsighted problem is Sunday. Why are you closed on Sunday? That is the one day guys and gals like myself want to maybe shoot some hoops or hit a treadmill. Or maybe take a swim. You want to serve the community but only on your limited terms.

Complaint 3. Pool hours. Its so confusing to remeber and if feels like they constantly change. Why not have it open more often and for longer than what feels lile 20mins. Its as if the buisness model is geared as, "We will set the narrowest parameters for operation and the public will have to figure it out. Our rules always." And then you wonder why buisness dips. So what is the target demographic for the Y ?

And my last complaint is more of an indictment on modern society. People who frequent the Y listen up. Show some common decency to your fellow man. Smile and talk to others. Be kind. Dont act as if others do not exist. Getting in shape isn't only a physical state of being but a spiritual state as well. Encourage others. Make the Y a place people want to be. As well as yourself. Dont act as if i do not exist. I do. Whether or not you believe in the Christian aspect of the ymCa be a human. I see it to often. The cliques of high school emerge and you push a human away because they dont fit in with you. Whether its based on their looks their age or economic level. You push your sister or brother away.
Reach out in kindness not pity when someone reaches out to you. We are here for a moment and then we are not.

Helpful staff and clean facility. We'll run youth leagues. After 12 years still a little bitter about how our daughter was kicked out of daycare to allow the directors friends child in, especially when it was being run at the time by a college kid crew.

Constantly updating the equipment and facility. Staff is super friendly and helpful to all members and non-members. They offer many different classes for all age levels. We use the child watch for our daughter. She has been going there for 3 years now and never had a bad experience. This y is great!

Everytime we go there for a gymnastics event they are never prepared for a large event or any event. There gymnastics gym is a horrible place to witness a event unless they move it to the larger gym.
