I love this location. Not for gym heads or swole mates which is great. Great place for family and health focused individuals. Get the job done with what you have in a safe space that allows for self humility. Love it and just visiting so will be sad to leave it.
It's the closest gym to my house and I think this motivates me to show up.
The teachers are really great for the group classes. Really friendly and fun.
The women's locker rooms are a bit crowded but I've always managed to find a good spot so far. It did take me a bit of time to get used to all the chaos though.
The pool is also really convenient for laps. On good days I get a whole lane to myself! And this is when the pool is open to everyone, not just members.
Very very satisfied with this gym :)
The YMCA has everything a gym needs, and is also a great community center. They just redid the women's locker room which is now lovely. The classes are great and come with the membership.

I have seen a lot of comments about the limited selection of weightlifting equipment at this gym. Although there are not a lot of machines, the gym is well equipped with quality equipment. The rogue racks and barbells allow for a wide range of exercises. If you are comfortable with working with free weights there is no lack in the variety of exercise you can do in this gym.
This place is very close to my house and I love going here in the winter time.
The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The facilities are super clean.
I usually do yoga classes, and then cardio. The equipment they have is great. The yoga teachers are the best. The sauna is the best and has recently been upgraded. I wish they had a hot tub, a tanning bed and massage beds too. Thanks for making me a better person.
Best gym! Lots of varied equipment, constantly updating and improving the gym (remodeled pool, steam room, added new weights and machines), and a generally really nice vibe from staff and everyone else. Classes are also very good, good variety, enthusiastic teachers.
Well located in the heart of Mile End with very nice view over Outremont and Mont-Royal. The stuff at the reception was very kind and welcoming. Bathroom and lockers were neatly clean (I liked the fact that they do provide shower gel). Negative point, is that the gym is rather small with limited space to move around. Except for the treadmill other options are rather limited (workout stations)- and usually busy-. I'd suggest this gym if it's near your home or you only go there for treadmill
Good gym in general, good selection and variety of machines. I go here multiple times per week because i live near. But if it keeps being as busy as today i will be cancelling my subscription. I don t see the point in paying for a gym that s always so busy, when i got here not one machine was free. It makes no sense. If they have that many clients get a bigger gym because this is not confortable at all. It s a complete waste of time to be waiting around doing nothing (codant even do other exercise because the mats were all taken too) . pointless
