Fast friendly service. Clean interior. Nice beers. Yummy appetizers. Great salads. Delicious and healthy square pizza. All priced right. Eat in or take out. Yummy

Awesome patio. Really great wine list. Pizza is good, but it's a thicker crust (don't come here expecting NY style 'za). Salads and other dishes like the meatballs w/ Ricotta are exceptional. They have heaters too for colder nights.

One of the best tasting. pizza's in DC. The cheese is delicious, tomatoes taste like summertime and the crust is full of flavor, cooked just right and just crunchy enough w/ just a little char! It was refreshing to get a great pizza that wasn't trying to be a Neapolitan pie. Sonny's is a delicious pie just like my Italian Grandma used to make. We loved it and can't wait to go back, and it's not around the corner for us.

Pretty good pizza and exceptionally cool environment. It has an old school pizza parlor feel inside, and a nice and spacious outdoor seating area for when the weather's nice. I only had their pizza, but their meatballs looked good as well. The pizza is dense, but the sauce has good flavor. They used lots of fresh basil which was a plus.

Fantastic new place. Love the classic pizzeria/hip vibe. The servings are delightfully lavish and shareable (their small salad is a lovely huge mound of beautiful greens!) and the pizza is hearty and satisfying. Also, a brilliant layout, combined with the neighboring cafe Colony Club, a slick bar section with a very cool entryway, and an awesome outdoor patio area. Excited to hit this place up in the summer, too!

Food was decent. Great addition to the neighborhood. By the slice pizza reasonable priced. Whole pies are way over priced. Garlic knots were great

Finally got to visit Sonny s pizza. I found out about it on Instagram, and it didn t disappoint. The sauce and crust are very delicious, the sauce definitely has a bit of a kick on it. They have a big beer/pizza garden in the back which has great atmosphere. Great service, great food, great experience. Definitely coming back

I was eager for a Wolfie as soon as I saw the list of toppings (tomato, mozzarella, pepperoni, onions, roasted red peppers), and it did not disappoint. At $32 this is a big pizza - eight hefty pieces - and two were plenty for me, along with a pitcher of Allagash White. Good food, fun relaxed surroundings on the open-air back deck, and unusual natural wines made for a great evening.
