YMCA Camp Thunderbird Review

Came here for a 4 day school trip with my sisters 5th grade math and science club and we absolutely loved it. The cabins were clean and way more than expected, Food was AMAZING! the view of the lake was so peaceful and a perfect getaway! The whole facility was amazing. The whole staff there were great too. Everything was amazing during our stay. The activities the facility provided for our kiddos were great too.. teacher, parents and kids had an amazing time. Definitely worth signing up the kids for their summer camp.

I would give 0 stars. I signed my child up for camp, paid the money, only to find out that the child profile and health information profile requires multiple layers of work. A lot of picture and document scanning. I do not have access to a scanner. It is a lot of "extra" work and a lot of layers in addition to the camp registration online. No other options were available from Laurel Zitney other than drive out to the camp, and hopefully someone will be there and knows how to work the computer and you can scan in the documents yourself. Very disappointing. Bad first impression. I had to request a refund. Would recommend parents ask more questions about the details of the registration process.
