Beautiful botanical garden hidden away in Crestwood, Ky. It was beautifully decorated for autumn. Easy walking paths, pretty gardens and scenery. Loved the castle, barns and unique plants. Admission $9.

The location and views within the gardens are spectacular. The castle like buildings are original and authentic and set off the rest of the scenery here. The staff are helpful and friendly and ready to explain some of the history and back story behind some of the things within the grounds. I highly recommend this location for a place to visit.

Nicely tucked away in the city outskirts. Really calming expanse with a variety of flora (they were still blooming, i went at the start of spring), super friendly and informative staff. Will head back there again when the bloom is full, and when they'll have their summet events. A nice way to chill out.

Very nice. Didn't want to go at first. Wife pretty much said we're going. I was able to identify some plants in my own yard. Shade in a lot of places. Scavenger hunt for kids. Rest rooms were clean. Very nice staff.

This is a nice botanical garden, but it is not anything near Longwood Gardens or other major gardens in the USA. It was a good place to get out and stretch our legs after a long drive across Kentucky.

Rudest place ever! REFUSED entrance to a disabled individual because she brought her service dog with her! This place is obviously ignorant of federal laws regarding persons with disabilities. Will NEVER attempt a return to this place again! Such ignorance, insensitivity and lack of accommodation is simply unacceptable.

Yew Dell is an excellent botanical garden just outside Louisville in Oldham County, just two miles off of I71 and exit 14 providing easy access. It is focused on cultivated plants and wonderful walking paths. In addition they have excellent programs, including many Gardening Seminars and an excellent Saturday morning program for younger children. They also have several Summer Music Concerts for Adults.

They have many stellar events, including the Hummingbird Fest and Boo-dell for Halloween which is very family friendly. They have a nice Christmas display with a very well done Model Railroad. Their Spring Plant Sale has many plants that are very hard to find, and they are doing some excellent plant breeding research Their staff is helpful, patient, and polite even when they have a large event, and the volunteers help ensure they always have plenty of people there.

We received a warm welcome. Unfortunately we got caught in a severe thunderstorm and tornado warning. I can't say enough about how well we were cared for during the storm, bringing us into shelter and giving us passes to come back another day. What we did get to see was beautiful.

We will go back later in the week with our grandkids!

Really didnt know what to expect when I brought my family here and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful gardens and landscaping. Kids under 12 are free. They have a free scavenger hunt for kids as well which will keep them occupied. Went down the trails to find the beaver dam but couldnt get stroller past the bridge construction. Also couldnt go inside the castle because of a wedding. Oh well, still enjoyed.

It is a small botanical garden, was originally a home and farm. It is a lovely 2 hour walk through. No buildings were open today due to Covid-19 and we didn't do the hiking trails due to recent rains. I imagine it would be easy to spend 3-4 hours wandering, resting, daydreaming. There are picnic tables in the arboretum for picnicking. The grounds are beautiful with some unique plants and trees not normally seen in Kentucky and today they had a plant sale. I don't know if that is all the time or not. There is a wonderful fairy garden that we all enjoyed. Looking forward to going back.
