Food took awhile to get, and breakfast potatoes were ice cold, and employees had masks on but not on there noises, only cashier,

Haven't been there in years, the food was delicious and I saw my old friend Lou Palone who l haven't seen in a long time!!

I never got anything I didn't like here. Good home cooking restaurant with good prices.

The place is open and family based. The menu is static and farmer-like.

Place has to many flies and also had poor service multiple times. Definitely will not be going to be going back for a very long time. Food was served to me cold also. Drf would not be able to recommend this place for food. But if you do just watch out for flies.

The service is good, but the food has gone downhill in the last 4 years. Our waitress Chrissy was outstanding. As far as home cooked meals, Everything is premaid or processed. Me and my wife only go there when there is no other place to go that is open close by. Ordered a fish dinner. Or was so over cooked and chewy, I sent it back. Also its freezing in here all the time.

Great old fashioned restaurant. Huge portions at incredibly cheap prices. The dinner specials were $7.62 and it was good. Kind of a throw back to the good old days, good quality food, dirt cheap, home made pies... Yum.

Great place classic "greasy spoon" but great for selection in addition to breakfast. Family owned and family friendly

They used
to have a great breakfast. Something has changed. Bacon has absolutely no flavor, home fries were soggy, muddy water has more flavor than the coffee but the sourdough toast was delicious.

This as close to another Corner Scoop as I have found in this area. Love it

If you are looking for fancy and expensive food this is NOT the place to come. If you want honestly good home cooking at a reasonable price this is your place. Every time I eat here it takes me back to my grandmother's house where there was no fancy plates, table decorations, etc. but the food was good and plenty of attention. Best known for breakfast, the Yankee Kitchen never seems to be without customers no what time we go. My favorite is the Greek skillet. Please note this is cash only but there is an ATM if you need to make a withdrawal from your account.

This is worth stopping at. I have been coming here since 1971 and it is still good. Place is clean but bathroom could be a little cleaner. The only thing I don't like is their soup. The menu has little of everything. Easy parking. Easy handicapped accessible price good

Food was good but our waitress acted like she didn't want to be there...she should of stayed home..

Its great old fashioned cooked meals. The only drawback is the crowd noise. Its a bit on the loud side when its busy.

We always have good food when visiting. Typically breakfast but often killer burgers. The burgers are worth the trip. Although when busy, it can get really loud in there, it hasnt stopped us from returning. Service is typically good. Great family friendly place to eat.

Great little mom and pop style diner with a typical diner menu. Place, during the day, is ALWAYS packed till early afternoon. That says a lot. We go for the breakfast skillets, which are outstanding. Drive 17 miles up from boardman just for them.

Amazing! Great portions, everything was great from burgers to their fish. The wedding soup was awesome too! We had a great server, they have all around friendly and attentive staff! We'll be going back more often!

Plenty of food, but was not hot and not like it was before.

The waitress was beautiful inside and out the food on today however was not good my eggs were running I told the waitress who comes back to take the running eggs off my play because her manager want to see them. Bad customer service what should have been said is I m so sorry let me go get you some more. My first and my last time going there.

I have ate there six or seven times none of the food has been homemade. The hamburgers they seem to pre cook them a little and soak them in water I don't know they have no flavor.

I don't normally post reviews about my experience dining in a restaurant however, my last visit made me finally do it. Their food is great, they have many options and the service is pretty fast. My only comment is that old grumpy waitress with glasses makes our dining experience so uncomfortable every single time we go there. She always acts like she don't want to be there and doesn't look at me at all as if I don't exist. As a customer, this kind of treatment is unacceptable.

My family and I have eaten here a good number of times. The food, the prices, and the service is really good. The deep fried platter appetizer is huge and awesome, really awesome. My wife and I have gotten several things off the menu and they've all tasted good and were reasonably priced.

The service has been consistently great. The waitresses are there when you need them, but don't interfere too much.

Two things bother me, though. I don't like that they don't take plastic. I don't carry cash, so I have to stop at an ATM before eating here or use the one they have in the foyer and pay the fee. I also don't like the type of french fry they serve. It's a personal preference and not a huge deal.
