Food and wait staff are hit or miss usually. Prices are cheap, especially for the portions you get. Acoustics suck and this place is LOUD.

Outstanding! Even better when the Owner comes out to chat....great treat for a southern visitor!

Good food, great value but CASH only business. Not a problem as they have an on-site ATM. Just wanted to disclose since some don't like those fees.

As always the food was great, there was a lot of it, the service was swift and the prices reasonable.

Good food...good price...my last two visits had experienced flys buzzing everywhere. ..I like this place but they have to do something about flys all over the dining room...
It makes you wonder what is in the kitchen. .I have eaten here for years and will continue..but they need to clean up the flys

This place has been a gem for breakfast since I was a child. Highly recommend this place for any meal, breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Fast, and friendly servers make sure that your coffee cup is never empty. You absolutely have to stop on and eat, even if you are just passing through, do not miss an opportunity to stop in and eat!

Great home cooking with large portions. Fast service and very reasonable prices but they only take cash.

This is the best place to get breakfast hands down. Good homecooking food.

The food was delicious. You can watch the cooks working. They work together with amazing precision. I was very impressed. I will be making this restaurant a regular stop. The prices are very reasonable and I do mean reasonable.

You will never leave there hungry. Great meals and very friendly. You can watch them cook your meal. Great service.

Small family restaurant that only takes cash. Average food that is just a little pricey. The crowd is generally seniors. 3 stars because its 2018 and nobody of the last 2 generations carry cash.

It's Friday and it's Girl's Night out ( soon to be Girl's Saturday Night Out due to work rescheduling) Tonight we went to Yankee Kitchen in Vienna, Ohio. We were confused when we walked in because there was no sign to be seated or wait to be seated. We were finally seated and our order taken. My daughter had Oven Roasted Turkey Dinner with baked potato. She loved every bite. My cousin had the Open Faced Roast Beef and fries. It was plentiful and delicious. I had the Sirloin Steak and Shrimp with mashed potatoes. The steak was divine and done perfectly. The only complaint was the potatoes. My mashed and my cousin's fries. My mashed potatoes tasted like the flakes in a box type. They were mushy with no texture. I would expect real chunky mashed potatoes here. My cousins fries were the wrinkly frozen type. Not handmade. Other than that the food was excellent, the service wonderful, attentive and friendly. The food is plentiful! They only accept cash, so come prepared. We definitely will be visiting Yankee Kitchen again!!!

Was served rolls with mold on them and steak was over done fries hard as rock and haven't changed the fryer oil in at least 2 to 3 days i wont ever go back don't know what the heck has happened there but someone needs to fix that never have i been server moldy food before

This is a family owned restaurant . When I went there, the owner was standing by the door greeting costumers and cashing them out. The hamburgers are home-made here, and HUGE! I normally don t like crinkle fries but the fries at Yankee Kitchen Restaurant are delicious! All the food came out hot and very quickly. Our waitress was extremely, and I mean extremely, attentive and friendly. The price for 4 people was around 45 dollars before the tip, so I was happy with the cost. Will be returning!

Excellent food at a very reasonable cost. Very friendly staff. I've been going there since day 1 and have grown enormously but stayed with there values that you get good food without losing your wallet.

Small-town atmosphere, and homestyle cooking.

This place is by far the best in the area for breakfast.The omelets are supurb and the pancakes are great,you can order only one or two if you aren't a big eater as they are large and filling.I suggest asking for the bacon grilled.Otherwise it is deep fried and not as tasty.If you go tell the grill cook Bill to get out on his Harley more often.

Food is good. Place is clean. Stays busy all the time. Just don't like its cash only.

Massive portions and great home cooking. The sausage gravy biscuits and Yankee doodle burger are my favorites.

I expected more by reading all of the wonderful reviews. I ended up with a huge, burnt chunk of home fries tnat were mediocre at best. Although, my omelette was average.

To me, it s not worth it. I d rather drive the extra 10 minutes to IHop or Waffle House for the same price.

It s also cash only, which is also sort of an inconvenience.

I attached a picture. I'm not sure about you, but that doesn't look appetizing in the least bit and I wish I would've saved my $10 and bought poptars at the Dollar Store instead.
