Unprofessional with their workers. Do not answer calls or even return calls to workers. Can't even tell you if your laid off/fired. They just ignore you completely. Bad experience. Never expected that from this company. Disappointed!!
Interesting we are the first to lose power during a blizzard and the last to get it back. They knew a blizzard was approaching and still could not get it together enough to be prepared to support their customers. Xcel puts businesses power needs as a priority above the safety and welfare of families who are in need. Unfortunately we are stuck with this sub par company and have no other options. There is little or no communication and when Excel does leave an automated public message during a major outage it is full of non-truths. First we heard that there would be no power for four hours then it changed to we have five hundred techs out fixing the problem and power will be restored sometime tomorrow to the final message the next day saying that the problem would be fixed by midnight the next day. We called and were given a different story each time as well as being conveniently disconnected or encountering a busy signal. Unbelievable that this company has the nerve to send out monthly reminders to customers informing them of how they rate with energy usage with their neighbors. Maybe they should expend their resources and energy upgrading their equipment and customer service practices.
