Wyncode was an amazing experience. I attended in August of 2017, and since then I have gone on to do things I never expected I'd be able to, including starting a company, getting multiple job offers for software engineering roles, and now beginning work for a major international corporation, in a position I could not have achieved without Wyncode. The education was amazing, but the services they continue to provide, even now, almost 2 years after graduating, have made a tremendous difference in my job search.

While universities have job fairs and career counselors, I can easily say nothing at any school in South Florida compares to Wyncode's job placement services. When I decided to begin searching for a job, I immediately reached out to them, and within 3 weeks I had 3 offers.

The class is not easy, and the length of the program (10 weeks) requires a full-time daily commitment, but for those who can afford it, there is no better investment of your time.

I was looking for a change in my life and an improvement in my work quality of life. I was recommended to go to Wyncode by a former graduate and I have been best friends with software developers, I took the chance and came to Wyncode...I do not regret it for 1 second! I learned so much in 10 weeks, Andy is an amazing teacher, the support system at Wyncode is amazing from teacher assistants to the job support and everyone that helps build your personal soft skills. I will warn anyone that tries to make the change and take the Wyncode leap... you need to give it 110% of your attention and focus, you will get what you put in. I came to Wyncode with about 3 months of prior self-learning with code, mostly Javascript and some other front end languages, that head start helped a ton, try not to come in completely unprepared. There is a lot of good support for new students and they will guide you but you need to put as much extra effort on your end as you can! I would spend 10-12 hrs a day at school and would spend my weekend either at school or at home coding or researching what we were learning at the time. It can all payout at the end if you really give your all, it's only for 10 weeks, time will fly by! I cannot recommend Wyncode enough, if you are on the fence, let this review be a push in the right direction!

Wyncode is one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life, I think mostly because of the human quality of the team. You are dedicated to us the students and we can see that everyday.

The program is accurate and complete. I've worked in IT for the past ten years and I can tell that you guys are putting us in the right path in this competitive field.

The school is modern and it welcomes you to learn and do your thing!

Andy is one of the best teachers I've ever had as well. He is a natural for teaching and coding.

Would do it again in a heartbeat!

It has been over a year since I was unfortunate enough to be conned into taking the first UXUI course Wyncode (April 20th, 2018) ever offered and I am here to say DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! My experience with Wynocde was a disorganized mess from the start to finish. As a cohort we were enrolled and onboarded into a program that wasn't even finished. The homework platform they provided was a joke (particularly for an institution that prides itself on training software developers). From day one we were left to fend for ourselves as there was absolutely zero support from the teachers assistant and instructor that had zero teaching experience up until then.
When we finished the program which was advertised as "educate-to-hire" we were provided with very little support or jobs leads whatsoever. Their Outcomes Manager left briefly after our cohort finished (employee turnover/ employee retention is within the organization is totally alarming).
The worst part about the entire experience wasn't even the total waste of money or lack structure/organization but the way you'll be confronted, intimidated and treated by the owners if you dare to say anything critical or anything that doesn't portray this place in the best possible light. Wyncode staff claims to be a family but the only "family" they resemble is the mafia.

I recently graduated from the Full Stack program at Wyncode, and I can honestly say that it was one of the most challenging yet rewarding things I have done so far. I enjoyed learning from people who have extensive experience in the tech industry. I was able to get real insight into what to expect as a junior web developer as well as access to Wyncode's growing network of hiring partners. Furthermore, the curriculum is not limited to programming languages like JavaScript and Ruby. I was also exposed to Agile and Scrum methodologies as well as concepts such as growth mindset. In addition, when I ran into obstacles, I received quick and helpful support from the staff. If you're willing to put in the work, the Full Stack program at Wyncode is the best option for people who are looking to break into the tech industry.

100 stars! Best place to learn, grow and meet smart cool people. I had the pleasure to work with over 100 students that changed their lives completely after just 10 week. Everyone here is super friendly and passionate about tech. They truly care about your success, you only need to really immerse yourself into it and embrace the new beginnings. This is one of the best bootcamp not just in the US but in the world, rankings and outcomes are 100% transparent. I ve never seen an organization as open as wyncode. They welcome people from all types of background. The cofounders will give you the best advice always!! They truly care and the Wynfam is there for you forever. Wyncode has the best vibes virtually and in person. Amazing experience!!!

Wyncode was a life changing experience for me. I applied for the Full Stack Developer Program and spent the time learning over 6 coding languages.

I came into Wyncode with very basic knowledge of HTML and graduated a Full Stack Developer.

The Wyncode Staff are some of the most professional and genuine people I have ever met. I would not have found my current Developer job so easily without them.

Coming to Wyncode is one of the best decisions I have ever made. As a prior military man, I can truly say that Wyncode Academy is a Bootcamp, and if you are not prepared you will not make it through the course.
The Full-Stack Web Developer course is a 10-week program that teaches you Git, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Ruby, and Rails. This is a very intensive course.
The pace of the course is very fast. I highly recommend, and I cannot state this enough, taking as many courses, on HTML, CSS, and Javascript, prior to starting the program. Codecademy is a good source for Wyncode prework, plus it is free. I did just that, and I felt like I struggled a bit less than my peers. With that said, I still dedicated a substantial amount of time daily to studying.
The course difficulty for Wyncode functions like a slope with the difficulty peaking in week 5, before starting to ease back down. The final 2 weeks was a bit relaxing for me as everyone will be working on their final project.
Overall, the course was great. The instructors were awesome. The level of difficulty was very high. The sense of comradery and learning to network with your peers was priceless.
Final Advice: Imposter syndrome is very real and there will be times you feel you are not good enough or perhaps you do not belong there. Just remember everyone starts at different levels. There were students who had Computer science degrees and already had a strong foundation in programming prior to Wyncode. And to a lesser extent, we had a few students who were already web developers. Remember, the course is geared towards beginners, so rather than worry about everyone else, focus on improving your knowledge and skills. Believe me, even the people you may think are having an easy time with the course are also struggling.

PSA: SHADY. Do not go here. It is a giant waste of your money and time. i attended Wyncode in 2018. They cost waaaaaaaaay too much money for what they give you. You can easily learn to code by going to the many online courses out there. my advice: there are soooo many resources on the internet and books that can help: code school, code academy, udemy, big nerd ranch books on amazon. They even make you use some of those resources and its like THIS IS ALREADY FREE. WE ARE PAYING YOU TO TEACH US. Sigh... They dont have a lot of their own content. It is no where near thorough enough. They dont really provide job help, they just make you go look for the jobs and write down how you contacted the employers and if you followed up.

ALSO if you let them know about a job opportunity or interview you may get, they tell other people to apply and compete AGAINST YOU. I had a hard time finding a job in miami but I got one at a great company in West Palm beach. No thanks to them. They were disorganized especally about events. They also put distracting things in the classroom and invited this weird frat house feeling. There would be alcohol available and for certain people it is not a good idea... some people got way to messed up. This was supposed to be a place of learning but sometimes did not feel like it.
They needed more aides in classroom. the students you work with can be immature and not that bright because they accept anybody willing to give them thousands. Sometimes political climate would make me and others feel weird especially with comments some have said in classroom and intolerance of others.

I have a bachelors already it is in bio and minor in agribusiness. but to be honest if you wanna pay over 10K (or even 5K to be honest) to learn to code or for any type of classes just go back and get a MASTERS or take local community college classes. maybe online UF, FIU, Broward college, or Miami Dade college. I take classes at FIU now to extend my learning with science or tech and those can be way more cost effective (wayyy more) and you learn more thoroughly. it also looks better to your employer that you are always continually learning and not following a gimmick "give me a job" cash grab academy with no real diploma or standing with employers beyond the few they network with that will accept 2 or 3 people per cycle. It doesnt take that long to learn to code from the resources on the internet or taking a class locally.

I recently completed the UXUI Immersive Program and had an overall great experience throughout. It is hard work, and like any school- a commitment on your part as a student. I spent full days M-F and some weekends, too, working towards developing new skills at an accelerated pace (so the time spent is to be expected, but passed having so much fun and exploring ideas and projects). But having the Wyncode space to do it in, and support from teachers (the UXUI professor Gessica is amazing), TA's, other staff, and of course other students/friends made it feel like a second home really quickly. It definitely paid off. I got an exciting job in this new digital product design industry within a month post-graduation. It's different for everyone, there are a lot of factors that go into something like this, but Wyncode is very transparent about what they offer as a support. Im really happy with the whole process I went through and the best part is that it's essentially a lifetime membership. Even now, I feel so comfortable and encouraged to come back to the space post-grad, collaborate with others, attend the tech events they host, and ask for job support at any level of searching in the future. It's great!

Wyncode is a shady full-stack program and if you don't meet there standards of personality. They will find a way to manipulate circumstances to dismiss you from the program. So they can curate their results. They don't care about their students, it has been made clear they only care about their money. They have made it clear to me that their more concerned about their public image, then they are about teaching coding. I'm not saying its a bad thing where would we be without capitalism. For the effort I put into the program that way and reason for dismissing from the program shows (in my opinion) a complete and utter lack of professionalism. Which is one of their core values. I have no respect for an organization that lies, terminates student with provocation, and steal larger sums money from those (admittedly myself) hoping to change their life. In the end it's was a horrible experience for me and the second biggest regret of my life. This program is not the right environment for you. They did offer me a full refund if and only if I signed a NDA that would prevent me from giving and honest review of the my experience at the program. When ask to negotiate the agreement I was told by the co-founders that it is there right to control what people say or think about their program. When did a standard release for a learning institution include a restriction the freedom of expression and force a student to not disclose participation in a program? For the cost of tuition in the program instead of a dismissal the should allow an individual to complete the program and not receive the certification at the end, as opposed to keeping the tuition and not providing the full course of materials. It's been almost a year since I went through this program and they have yet to provide any documentation as for the validity of their accusations cited on my dismissal. Due to the cost of this program, the unexpected dismissal, and deplorable nature of the co-founders I have yet to be able to find a way to fulfill my dreams of becoming a software engineer.

____________________________________

For clarification I was told by multiple staff members that they could not help me and I was labeled (by an organization that claims to teach individuals of all levels) as "untrainable".

I would like to reiterate that I have the utmost respect for the Wyncode teamamd feel for most individuals it's a great place to learn. However, the leadership at this organization (in my opinion) a complete lack of professionalism and business acumen.

Beware of This School.

Beware of This School.
So Far We're -Disappointed With The Staff/School Reps.
100% Non-Engaging / Very Poor Followup.
Please Note: This Place is NOT an Accredited School with Metro-Dade nor Broward County(s).
In My Opinion-
This Place Seems To Conduct Itself in a Manner of Being Very *Left*
Meaning Very Liberal.
The Feeling of Being Judged By Character / Personality Before Being a *Student*
I Also Plan on Contact The City About This Co-Called *School.
We have a few details to check up on about their existence and practice.

I am so happy that I chose to do THIS course in Miami (coming from Canada)... What made my experience so amazing was the nonstop support where the staff didn't LET ME fall off my game. They keep you motivated and provide you so much more than just an amazing curriculum, they provide you with a coding community that doesn't just end after the course. The curriculum is amazing for people who struggle with traditional classes by incorporating code-alongs, tons of labs, games, weekend and night support, extra resources, and lecturers/ta's who go the extra measure by constantly iterating the class.

Do not fall for it. It takes years to become a developer! Wyncode has a staff of very good salespeople that will sell you dreams. They take advantage of desperate people in a bad point in their life/career to sell them snake oil. All in a fun and smiley way with some fist bumps and a lot of "free" beer. This, and all the bootcamps are an evil scam industry.
Please beware!

I joined Wyncode a few months after my college graduation and I am convinced that Wynocode was the most valuable educational experience in my life. The staff members overdeliver in their promise to teach the art of Code. The job support adds a great value to the learning experience.
Wyncode is well connected in the community and they make sure the students will succeed after graduating from the bootcamp. Would highly recommend it to anyone who is eager to start a new career in tech.

Wyncode was a great opportunity to get my foot in the door of the tech industry.

The curriculum introduces a different way of thinking that many people might not be used to, but it was very beneficial to me.

Andy (the full-time program instructor) is a genuinely nice guy who was once a Wyncode student himself, so hearing about his experience (along with the experiences of other alumni) before / during / after Wyncode gave me a bit of a clearer picture on what I could expect from the program.

Jo and Juha (the founders), being as busy and successful as they are, still find time to talk to our cohort and give advice when we ask for it.

Finally, you get introduced to an entire network of people to maximize your chances of success.

At the end of the day, your experience at Wyncode will be what you make of it.

If you stay focused, be proactive, and take advantage of all the opportunities presented, you will be happy with the investment that you made.
