Nice and new facilities, only de Dreijen is very old and should not be used anymore

Wageningen University has everything that a good technical university needs; good facilities, good professors, lots of space and a great atmosphere. This university certainly belongs to the top of the Netherlands, perhaps the world

Spent the summer here last year for my thesis. Clean toilets and showers, but no pool or animation team for the kids. Furthermore, bed linen is not included, so bring a sleeping bag and mat if you stay overnight !!

I am luck enough to be the part of world 2nd best university in agricultural and environmental sciences. I am thankful to the team of supervision I have. They are really hard working team members, and they know how to drive with which pace. One can learn here too much.

Wageningen UR is located in a rather small Dutch city with a lot of charm and an international student flair. Its size is perfect to reach everything by bike within only a couple of minutes.
Next to this is the level of education well, the classes are rather small, which allows great teaching and above that the hiearchary between the students and teachers is quite flat. It's common to name your teacher by his/her first name and furthermore, they almost immediately answer your mail.
Next to that the laboratories are well equipped and modern so that adds even more value to your education here and helps in not only learning and understanding the theory, but as well to applicate this knowledge.

Insane university. Very neat and structured. Also many facilities and everything aimed at students, very practical. Only grids can be made somewhat more practical. Furthermore, very cool study options and a wonderful place to study!

Wageningen Universiteit is een goede universiteit met heel goede faciliteiten en persoonlijke ondersteuning op het moment dat het mogelijk is. Wageningen Universiteit loopt mee voorop in onderzoeken op veel verschillende aspecten in de agrarische en food sector. Je wordt gemotiveerd om na te deken over kwesties en daarnaast genoeg ruimte en mogelijkheden om jezelf te kunnen ontwikkelen tot een persoon die veel kan bijdragen aan het bedrijfsleven.

An important university, generator of knowledge. Modern and with excellent learning. Housing students from all over the world. Modern architecture and very well distributed buildings. A restaurant with a diversity of meals. Large study rooms. All this environment gives the student peace of mind in his studies.

Dear WUR, reading the Volkskrant about the university, it struck us that the emphasis is too much on the farmer's yield and too little nature on the part of the farmer.

This is a perfect university to study agriculture in wide term. Many institution in the world placed this university as best university in agricultural sciences in the world. A nice campus, healthy life, and comprehensive facilities will help student to improve their skills and networking. Wish someday come here again

Wageningen University offers a great working and study environment. Even though the number of students is gradually growing in the past years, the ratio of students and teachers/professors is still around 8:1. Thus, the small character and the direct working atmosphere is what I really appreciate here. You can always pass by any office or approch the professors directly. Another fact that made me feel comfortable at the WUR is the very international character.

Nice study bookstore from Studystore. Textbooks, readers but also nice jerseys of the university! Friendly staff too and they knew exactly what I needed for my courses.

Wageningen University offers a great study atmosphere and has a nice campus. Besides a great equipment of study materials, computers and working places, various cafes and canteens are located on the campus. Small classes and group work offers the opportunity to apply relevant topics/problems to theory. A great number of international students make Wageningen a multicultural city there are a lot of cultural activities, organized by study associations as well as by the university.

My brother is going to learn there so it must be a best choice

I was invited as a Visiting Fellow at the ABDLO in Wageningan in 1996 and had met up with many of the researchers, professors and academic staff at the ABDLO and the University of Wageningan. I was tremendously impressed by the world class teaching and research facilities at the University of Wageningan. Modern campus with state of the art facilities of science and quality life. Really a place for knowledge lovers.

It was the good experiment for me to take education there. It is the perfect university to study agriculture and learn the life sciences with technological equipment.

De WUR is een goede universiteit die inzicht heeft in de behoeften van studenten. Zo kunnen studenten altijd bij hun decaan terecht bij eventuele problemen die ze tijdens hun studie tegen kunnen komen. Bij (mogelijke) studievertraging door persoonlijke problemen is de universiteit zeer bereid om de student eventueel financieel te steunen.
Daarnaast organiseert de universiteit ook leuke dingen voor de studenten. Zo was er begin dit studiejaar een beachclub op de campus geplaatst. Hier kon men beachvolleyballen, biertjes drinken en gewoon relaxen.
Zelf studeer ik BSc Biology aan de WUR. Inmiddels zit ik in het tweede jaar en ik ben zeer tevreden over de gevolgde vakken en de bijbehorende docenten. Bij vragen/problemen zijn de meeste docentenzeer behulpzaam en bereid wat extra tijd in je te steken.

Al met al ben ik zeer tevreden over de WUR.

Especially the new campus of Wageningen University (Forum, Orion etc.) is great! You have the possibility to sit and study almost in every building and, at least in Forum, there are also many computers available for use. But having said this, it could also be improved. Sometimes it would be nice to have quick access to a computer in Orion. Also the new e-wallet system (you need this for printing, coffee etc.) is not very convenient for international students, since uploading money can get quite expensive without a dutch bank card. Maybe it is possible to install an uploading machine that accepts cash somewhere on the campus. But overall it is a very nice University! :)

Unfortunately, it is noticeable that the new building was constructed by people who have been given that position and have not earned it. Logistics is a drama and accessibility is downright bad. I think this university is the model of failing architecture in which it has forgotten to look at the importance of suppliers and the dynamics of transport that serve the people in the buildings. I therefore think that no matter how warm everyone is here, it is better to break down this soulless collection of bricks and start over

Orion has a restaurant. It is open until 20:00 hours but it can be closed unannounced at any time. If this occurs, you may enjoy the small students restaurants in the building close to Albert Heijn supermarket, southeast from the Orion building, some 200 meters walking.

Best University for Food Science and Food Technology in the world. Situated in the Food Valley of the World.

A incredible, multicultural University, excellence in research and education. I worked at Rikilt Institute, part of WUR and I miss the friendly atmosphere and many colleges. Some of them are my friends until now.

Sustainable, sustainable, sustainable. That's the spirit of this campus. People, planet, profit in synergy.

I studied here myself from 2013-2016 and can only report positive. A really great and modern campus. The lessons are very well designed. Depending on the course you will u.a. also taught in smaller groups. This is more reminiscent of school lessons, which can be taught very well the learning content. The student-teacher ratio is rather friendly and you duzt - typical Dutch just. Student life is very international. There are many student connections and opportunities to do something (events, sports clubs, etc.). During my time, as an EU student, I also got a furnished room for the first year, so you did not have to worry about anything.

All in all: clearly 5 stars!

Studied here for 5 beautiful years. Now I work there. Amazing university.
