The best halibut fish and chips I've had in Anchorage. The fish was fresh with the perfect outer crispy layer and came with tarter sauce that was made just right. The baked mac and cheese was perfect. The wild berry sorbet with fresh blueberries was so refreshing to offset the salty food and finish with a natural sweet treat that's not too heavy
Excellent food and service. While visiting Alaska, we came here three times! So many great options on the menu for everyone in your party and so many beer options! Definitely a place worth trying (and coming back to)!
Great Bar and their list of alcohol goes on forever. The views are wonderful from the two decks available outside. I had the YAK Burger, do not get it cooked more than medium, they suggest medium rare. Parking is across the street at $11 for two hours. Be careful crossing the street though, locals will speed up. Service was great and they had no problem helping with the selections.
Fantastic beer. Fantastic food. Fantastic staff. For starters, the Grapefruit Lager is phenomenal. It is the perfect brew to welcome in the summer, welcome the warmth of 24 hours of sunlight, welcome the release from the depressing grip of covid lockdowns! It is light, fruity, crisp and really just hit the spot.
I chased my Grapefruit Lager with the Halibut and Chips. The portion was very generous, big pieces of Halibut lightly breaded and fried golden brown. Each piece (3 total) was crisp and delicious. Not a single bite was soggy or greasy like some others. They do it right. The fries (chips) were also perfect, crisp and no sag! They were more steak fry-ish and were very good!
The staff was beyond friendly, welcoming and attentive! The manager introduced herself and the entire experience really made me feel appreciated as a customer.
This is now a staple on my visits!
One of my favorite breweries in Alaska, great beer and amazing food. I went 4 days in a row to the place and believe me, I don t like to repeat places but its Alaska seafood chowder is just the best i have ever tried. The place is in a good location and the view is beautiful. The service just excellent.
When we moved to Anchorage everybody recommended us this place ! So we came to try ! On the first time we was a little be upset because even we came on Monday it was really busy and we was waiting 45 minutes. So make a reservation in advance. But it was worth it because service was fast and stuff was friendly, we asked to change a table for second floor and our view was amazing. We ordered fried calamari- very smooth and crunchy, crab cakes and burger for main courses. Everything was so good ! For dessert we took a fried cheesecake it s really something! It s like a roll not like a piece of cake with cherry jam and whipped cream. it was my husband s birthday and we get $25 off

If you like fresh food, enjoy a great atmosphere, refreshing beverages and top notch service, be sure to head here! My husband and I vacationed in Alaska for a week and had to give this place a visit not once but twice. Their crab grilled cheese along with the dipping chowder was AMAZING! I wish we had a gem like this where we live in Nashville
One of our favorite spots in Anchorage. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The in house brews are fantastic. There's sure to be one for you, if not, they have a fully stocked bar. The food is equally impressive. Try the crab stuffed jalapenos! If you're really feeling Alaska try the various yak dishes they offer. 49th State should be on top of your list when visiting AK.
Stopped in here for dinner on the recommendation of several people. Comfortable but casual atmosphere, and good selection of drinks and food (they have wine and cocktails in addition to beer). Expensive restaurant with good food.

I called in for an order. Wait time being 45min. Upon arrival and calling in for my curbside order they still had not completed my order and waited an hour and half for food to come in. I would highly recommend you do not order from here instead reserve a table far in advance to dine in. Their pick up service lacks severely.
