Chrissy was really helpful and always there to contact whenever I had any questions. It's really comforting to know that there is somebody informed and willing to help just a call/ email way, especially when moving to a country you've never been before.

Con artists, they will do everything to rip every penny off you! They have been taken to court too and investigated by authorties!!! Don't get ripped off by these people!

I have been dealing with the work and travel co for the past 5 months and my coordinator with Alex. Working with Alex has been excellent because she has been extremely informative and patient especially with me as i have most of the time that she has called i have been working. She has been excellent with getting us interviews and the constant updates of our progress.

My boyfriend and I both went through The Global Work & Travel Co. It was really easy to deal with them. Before we left on our trip, if we had any questions, we could just email our coordinator and she would get back to us that same business day with helpful information. When we arrived, they made it really easy to open a bank account, get a SIN number and other things that are daunting when moving to a new country. Would recommend going if you are not confident with doing it by yourself.

Myself and my girlfriend decided to travel through Global and we are so glad we did. Everything has been organized for us which was a massive help as this is the first time heading overseas. Our coordinator Is Trina, so helpful, very responsive with any questions we had and just made this whole trip a breeze. Would recommend traveling with Global to anybody :)

It has been so wonderful working with my Global Coordinator Chrissy, from both in Australia and here in Vancouver. She has helped me with all my inquires and booking accommodation and travel for me to be able to get to my new job in Banff, and made me so comfortable when I arrived for orientation. She has helped make the transition from my life in Brisbane so smooth, and I cant wait for the rest of my trip!

We booked our trip through Alex and truly appreciate everything she has done for us! Has been a great experience for me organised everything i asked for and more. were supporting me through the whole process via Email Skype and direct phoning them.
Can be a bit pricey at times but its expected when going travelling and the assurance of a job at the other end makes it worth while.

Definitely recommend planning your trip with Global work and travel! They have the friendliest staff who will go to every length to help you out with your trip, helping you find job opportunities and arranging the travel, accommodation, banking etc. They have answered all my questions and made sure that this whole process has been very easy and comfortable and with the best deals. They know hat they're talking about and will treat you like family, DO IT!!

Would not recommend if you're looking for volunteer opportunities.

They charged me for a 12-month working visa and only found out at immigration at Vancouver Airport that as an Italian passport holder I was entitled to a 6-month work permit. I paid for someone to figure things out and they obviously did not. I also found a job myself before I moved to Canada. Thank you GW&T!

Really good experience, made coming to the other side of the world a lot less stressful! Jen was so helpful and her and the other team members took care of all my arrangements and questions. Would highly recommend it to other people!

Amazing and helpful people. They respond quickly and helped me out in times of uncertainty and with any issues that arose. They provided amazing support and it was nice to have a point of contact with expert knowledge of the country while traveling so I wasn't trying to figure it all out on my own.

Coming over was amazing. Once i arrived everything was sorted and there was no stress involved with setting up bank account or accommodation. The start up process was a tad confusing to begin with but once i had a set coordinator everything worked perfectly. Special thanks to Alex at Global Work Canada.

Global have been really helpful in getting my trip to Canada organised. They help out with a lot of the small things you don't think about when you're wanting to move to another country such as taxes etc.

Orientation has filed in any little gaps i had in the big picture of Canadian life and Trina has made this transition as easy as it possibly could of been. this should of been stressful but Trina has been there for any questions iv had and been very reassuring and great at explaining the processes and what to expect when going on a working holiday.

I have just arrived for my Canadian experience with Global. So far they have been very helpful. I signed up a year ago and was meant to come last year but couldnt make it and it was super easy to hold the trip off. They got me a job super easy the first time. But this second time, there were less job opportunities and it was harder.

Very helpful with sorting everything out including your job, banks etc. All the staff are friendly, my trip coordinator is Alex and she has been a big help, very happy and welcoming and made me feel a lot more at ease about moving out here to Canada!

I found Josie and the Global Travel & co. in general really helpful and always there to answer any questions or queries I had. The whole process of getting over to Canada and finding work was a lot easier because of Josie and Global, without them it would have taken a lot longer and would have been a lot more stressful!

Going to Africa was always a distant dream of mine- but it wasn't until the COVID-19 pandemic that forced me out of my comfort zone and leave Canada to do some good in this world. I found Global Work and Travel- and from there, it was a piece of cake. Reece, my trip coordinator was AMAZING. He made sure I was ready to go to my trip to Tanzania and answered all my questions/concerns I had along the way. I had no issues leaving the country- despite what you may think. And just like that, I was ready to go to the child orphanage. It was the most amazing experience- the kids, the scenery and the people you meet along the way.
They made it so easy- and I am so sad that I didn't find them sooner. You will not be disappointed- trust me. Go explore the world! The world is waiting for you...

My coordinator Jen was amazing! She listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my silly questions. She is so welcoming and it was very comforting to have a friendly face to see when I got to Vancouver for my orientation. I would definitely recommend Global Work & Travel to help you in organising an amazing adventure!

Pretty happy with Global! Just having arrived in Vancouver they've made everything pretty bloody simple and helped out with the basics before arrival and after (SIN, mobile numbers etc). Off to my resort this week with my job which was lined up perfectly with my resume and my desires. Stoked!

Bunch of great people who were always willing to help out whenever it was needed. Very organised and always know what is going on at all times. You need to be relatively organised yourself but they are always there. Would definitely travel with them again.

I can't speak highly enough about these guys, they helped me make a time of a live adventure happen. Helped me every step of the way, I would send and email and matt would ring me to talk me through what I needed to do next or how to do something. The communication has be brilliant, they listened to what I want to get out of my trip so they could provide me with the best experience. I found Global so helpful travelling overseas by myself for the first time. The whole process was outlined for me and the first job that they sent me to interview for was perfect for my personality and interests. I was worried as it took a while for them to send me the job opportunity but when they did send it to me it was perfect and I got the first opportunity I applied for.

Awesome experience, especially if you have never done much travelling or never been to another country. They point you in the right direction and give you step by step instructions all the way. Having a job secured before even arriving has been the biggest relief. Definitely recommend.

Great, friendly and very helpful staff! The staff definitely make this company worth signing up too. I was hesitant about how expensive it was however all the helpful hands and discount coupons, maps etc, totally make it worth it. Thanks so much for this wonderful experience!

Long story short, I wouldn't be in Canada if it wasn't for Global Work & Travel! They have helped me every step of the way with everything from getting a working VISA, to finding employment, to even suggesting the best places to visit in Canada. On my own, I wouldn't have had any idea where to begin! The staff have been incredibly friendly as well, making it so much easier for me to get over here and have an amazing adventure.

While some of their help was great, if I had to do it again, I would save myself the money and do everything myself. They overcharge for everything and if you do enough research and join Facebook groups for people who are also going to your country of choice, it's fairly easy to do yourself.

They are super friendly and helpful! They helped organise our whole trip and help set everything up for us!

Alex has really looked after me from start to finish, she's checked in regularly to make sure I'm okay and everything is on track. Global has provided me with multiple job opportunities and I'm really happy with the support they've given.

Extremely helpful throughout my experience so far. Very informative with a bunch of information I would've forgotten about or not have thought to ask questions about. Staff are all super friendly and are travelers themselves so are quick to offer great suggestions/spots that they have also experienced first-hand. At first I thought Global was a scam but decided to follow through and go on a working holiday to Australia. Their HQ there is actually very professional. Unfortunately their organizational and communication skills are lacking. After being in Australia for over 2 weeks without a job, I had to find my own accommodation as the first four nights only are covered by Global.

During the process of finding me work, I specifically told them I would like work in hospitality as I have a strong background bartending. Only 1 of the 4 opportunities they found for me involved what I actually asked, it s like they didn t really listen. The job was also very far away from where I was located so I had to buy a plane ticket to get there. None of which was covered by Global itself. In the end I came back to Canada after the third week.

Overall, the communication really sucked. They really just try to suck the money out of you when it comes to flights/insurance/expense. Would not recommend, either go on a working holiday on your own or use another company.

The organised transport from the airport to the hostel was very helpful after a long flight.

Manipulated google reviews. To whomever is considering Global Work and Travel as an option I strongly recommend putting the effort in yourself and saving the small fortune these guys take from you.

Global work and travel were very helpful when things seemed to be falling apart and did all they could to make my preparations easy and stress-less.

When I initially decided to do a season overseas, I didn't really know when or where I wanted to do it. (I'm from Melbourne, Australia).
I looked up google and Global Work and Travel Co. were one of the first options to come up.
I navigated through their website and made an enquiry. Within 24hrs I was contacted and pretty much signed up straight away. I guess the things that drew me were the support I would be given from the steps needed to get my work visa, job opportunities, to support 24/7 from when I arrived and other perks as well.
I worked with about 5 different people from the company and it was good to be able to work with people from different departments even though it got a bit confusing sometimes.
Each member of the team was efficient, helpful and responsive, and I appreciated this aspect of the experience as I like to get things done.
The downsides were the job opportunities available. I got 3, however wished that I were given a few more. I feel that this may be part of the nature of seasonal work and dependent on partner employers and weather, as well as your particular experiences in your cv.
That being said, my choice in the end was Blue Mountain, Ontario and I am super excited to be heading there early next week.
Tips: Keep in mind that you can book your own flights and insurance if the cost is slightly unmanageable, I found that depending on where you came from, this varied but was happy to pay the price for ease and efficiency.
Arriving in Canada was easy enough, the process from customs through to attaining a working visa took around 90min as the airport was very busy and hostel was 30min from the airport via aerocar.
The hostel is fantastic, clean, free breaky, discounts and providing true Canadian/Vancouverian (haha) experiences.
Oh and the weather was a mix of rainy, cloud and sun. That's a Vancouver November for you. But I was still able to do the activities I set out to do- bike ride around Stanley Park, head to Granville Island Market and will be going out to the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain tomorrow. I definitely prepared with a rain poncho and umbrella.
Apart from the touristy stuff, orientation was straight forward and I finally got to meet my trip coordinator (Chrissy) and was able to complete the final requirements for working in Canada (bank account and social security).

Hated my working holiday experience but Global was pretty good helpful staff just a shame about my working holiday.

I have absolutely loved working with Global Work & Travel Co. My Coordinator helped me every step of the way to book my working holiday to Canada. She kept in close contact throughout the entire time and made sure I was well up to date and knew exactly what I needed to do. Would definitely work through them again.

Everyone was very helpful, any questions that I had were answered. Once the only issue I had was that I wasn't aware that I needed a ESTA at the airport in due to a connecting flight.

Every step of the way I was in contact with a Global travel consultant which helped me in every way possible. From getting my visa sorted to setting up job opportunities and interviews. Every question I've had has been met with an answer to help ease any issues I had raised. Fantastic company to deal with and my personal consultant has gone over and beyond to satisfy every need and query i had.

I have just got to Vancouver and the Global Work and Travel Company have been excellent in there service and helping us get started. 10/10
