At first I thought Global was a scam but decided to follow through and go on a working holiday to Australia. Their HQ there is actually very professional. Unfortunately their organizational and communication skills are lacking. After being in Australia for over 2 weeks without a job, I had to find my own accommodation as the first four nights only are covered by Global.

During the process of finding me work, I specifically told them I would like work in hospitality as I have a strong background bartending. Only 1 of the 4 opportunities they found for me involved what I actually asked, it s like they didn t really listen. The job was also very far away from where I was located so I had to buy a plane ticket to get there. None of which was covered by Global itself. In the end I came back to Canada after the third week.

Overall, the communication really sucked. They really just try to suck the money out of you when it comes to flights/insurance/expense. Would not recommend, either go on a working holiday on your own or use another company.
