This place has the best breakfast food hands down. The portions are big, staff are nice and attentive, and the atmosphere is always nice. WOM is notoriously busy and the wait to get seated is a big chunk of time. What I suggest is getting there early to put your name in (they only accept reservations in person, but do offer to text you when your table is ready), and then go do something while you wait. The waiting area is very small and you will feel crammed. Their parking lot is also on the smaller side so finding a place can be challenging, but don't let all of this deter you. WOM is always a great choice and well worth it every time.

I will be eating here again. I will also be telling all of my friends about it.

Hands down our new favorite place for breakfast in Salem. The food is next level and the portions are large enough that you will need a to go box!

I always order my eggs over medium and never get them cooked correctly. Today was the first time my eggs came out of any kitchen(other than my own) cooked correctly! Miracles do happen! Kudos WOM kitchen staff!

Its usually a long wait but its worth it. Be careful when ordering as the portions are large. Brought some friends here and they were impressed as well. the food is excellent and so is the service.

Best Breakfast in Salem, portions are enormous, flavors are bold. Service is top notch. If this restaurant was in a hotel or fancy building it would be a 5 star restaurant. Home cooking at its finest.

I wish I could give this places ten stars! Well worth the wait. The staff was incredibly kind and the food was outstanding! I mentioned that I wanted to try the french toast the next time I came and our waitress brought out a free piece. Outstanding customer service and incredible food. You must try this place!!

Excellent service and very nice people with phenomenal food

Very good food! I had a breakfast scramble and the bacon was TO DIE FOR! I mean, honestly, if I had a chance to choose how I died, it would be from overeating the bacon here! The decor is amazing, we had three kids and five adults and she got all our orders perfectly! This place is a good place to go if you have allergies, my mom is allergic to eggs wheat dairy yeast and soy and they were able to give her a whole meal that she loved!

I had biscuits and gravey with a side of fried smashed potatoes. The biscuits were the best i can remember having, the potatoes were amazing, but the gravey seemed to be generic (no spices or flavors stuck out to me). Also there was some thick cut perfectly cooked bacon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The wait times for a table can be long, but that's not surprising for the quality and quantity of food you recieve. Would recommend a visit to anyone.

OH so good. Their mimosas are made with a white peach puree & the chef sent out a complimentary cinnacake w/ a buttercream icing... Oh hell yeah! I ordered the eggs benedict & it is incomparable.
EDIT! I read many of the 1 star reviews... these people are nuts. It is very well worth the wait & parking is your own problem, it's cost of being in a city. We will be in bright & early tomorrow.

Delicious breakfast!!!! Only issue is that is pretty small and sometimes wait times are a bit nuts. WORTH IT!

I've been here several times. Usually its quiet enjoyable so please do not use this an overall status review. This rating is strictly for the bistro burger. I personally did not enjoy this menu item. I found the house patty to be lacking substantial flavor, it was way over cooked and came on a soggy bun.

Love this Bistro! My favorite is always biscuit-related, but everything's good. There's usually a wait, but it's worth it.

BEST FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD. They are nice and talk to you like family and you feel at home. It's worth the wait. It's a must if you visit Salem or friends or family come to see you. Take them there.

Yummy so worth the wait we dropped by and put our names on the list we gave them our cell number. As we waited we went to bush park pasture . we recived a text saying our table would be ready soon and table would be held for twenty min.
This place is perfect amazing food ( french dip with fries and yacht club with clam chowder) the waiters are quick and very friendly. The atmosphere is cozy. We brought our 3 year old and he loved the chicken fingers and fries. Love love love. 10 stars all the way. You have to go here

Quite possibly the best place I've ever eaten for breakfast... The quality of the corn beef hash is simply unmatched. To top it all off, the service was excellent, especially from our waitress, Bernadette. This place is popular and can be pretty busy, but if there is a bit of a wait, stick it out. You will be happy you did!

Been here a couple times and everything has been awesome both times. The creme brulee french toast definitely lives up to the hype, biscuits and gravy are also spot on. The wait isn't actually that bad, we went on a Friday at 1pm and waited about 20 minutes. Expected a lot longer of a wait from what others reviews said, they also had our food to us in like 10 minutes! Amazing place

Hands down the best breakfast in Salem! The eggs benedict and creme brulee french toast are to die for! I've never tried anything bad from the menu. It's a small restaurant so there's almost always a wait to be seated. The plus side is you can drop by and put your name on the list (they don't reserve tables by phone) and they will text you 15 minutes before your table is ready. They have a small waiting area. You can also check online to see where you're at on the list. It's absolutely worth the wait. The parking can be difficult - their lot is very small. Often it's necessary to park on the street on 18th. Whatever you do don't park in the neighboring business lots - they'll tow you!

1+ hour wait at 11 am Wednesday. Parking was bad, tiny lot.Crowded cute little house. Food features high fat, high sugar options, hence the popularity of WOM. There are healthy vegetarian options, but it is not worth the wait to me.

Salem's tried and true, this has been a favorite of mine for many years. I will always love their menu. If you come to Salem you have to try Word of Mouth. It's busy, so come at the off hours like 2:00pm.

Hands down the best breakfast I have had in the great state of Oregon. The Hash man. The hash!
Oh and they gave me a free pancake which was unbelievably tasty. Poppyseed lemon!
