I always enjoy my shopping experience at the Word of Life Christian Bookstore! It has unique cards, gifts and Biblical materials to satisfy my needs and for sharing the gospel with others. And, I love to support community based businesses!
This store is clean and we'll organized. The staff is friendly and courteous. Highly recommend.

I was a high schooler when i first stepped into borderlands and my breathe was taken away. Still a great store, but their used section has gotten smaller over the years and that is what I look for in a bookstore.

Really like this bookstore. I agree with previous reviewers' sentiments that while this is a gay-friendly store, it is by no means a "gay bookstore." Don't be afraid to check it out- they carry a lot of local authors, and some great indie stuff too.

Wonderful little neighborhood bookstore with a (suprisingly) huge selection. It might look small from the outside, but don't be fooled. Rarely have I gone into this place without finding what I need or the employees being able to get ahold of it for me.
There children's selection, I second, is amazing!
Friendly personnel. Excellent resource & Sunday School materials. Offers free lilerature from publishers to supplement daily & Sunday School reading.
Prepare to browse materials for Bible study. Good literature for all age groups. Has good selection of gospel CD's & show cases writers literary works on living. Excellent Bible selections in various sizes, English translations, and prices.

I wish there was more inventory but I'm really glad it's still in business since so many Christian bookstores are closed. The staff is helpful and gracious, and the store is easy to navigate and well organized. Although the store is dark inside and could use updating, I understand that times are hard. I just wish I could afford to pay for that.

I love this place. Such a solid spot in the Mission for perusing. The staff does a good job curating tables and highlighting lesser-known books, too.
I loved how easy and accessible everything was, the only draw back was customer service should be a bit more focused on the customers.

It's okay. Placed Special order over a month (February 7, 2019)ago no one called to advise if items were in or a problem with order. I called to inquire was advised order was placed. It's Friday, March 29, 2019 n I haven't heard from them. Paid a deposit. Don't reccomend n will no longer do business there.

I like this Bible book store the building is in the middle the service is Pleasant if you need anything they will order for you their prom the courteous and if you don't have it they'll try to get it for you check it out

Always a pleasure to come into this store. Good music is playing. Everyone from patrons and staff alike, are pleasant, friendly and courteous. And the selection is vast. If you can't find what you're looking for here, it probably doesn't exist.

First time in the Sherman Oaks store. Huge selection, reasonable prices, unique new age stuff. Their books were particularly impressive. The annex next store has a rare book cabinet full of esoteric, occult and new age collections. Pretty cool. It's a big store, somethings are priced well others are not, but overall, way more stuff spanning a broader range than in most places you'll find. I bought quite a lot of stuff for a little over $100.
