Excellent facility! Clean, well maintained, wonderful staff, helpful volunteers. Residents all seem happy and well cared for. Highly recommended!

Quiet and kind to the residents. Good place to love and work

15y ago, would have said yes. Now, care is so poor in assisted+ living. Aides screaming @ pt, letting them fall(not enuf help?). Holes lining kitchen wall stuffed w/steel wool, mouse traps & mice everywhere. No kindness or care noted most places

Pickersgill is one of the nicest assisted living facilities I have ever been to. Everyone is friendly and helpful and they take great care of the residents. We especially enjoyed the Christmas concert by the Gilman Traveling Men. It's really nice that they have so many activities for the residents.

The thing I like about Pickersgill is no matter what the residence come first.

I'm a former employee of this facility, some of the best people that I had the pleasure of knowing and calling friends worked here and still work there, the residents were my family and I loved them very much, and still do can't visit as I would like too, but they are always on my mind and in my heart, so Yes, I would recommend this Community to everyone,

The administration is very unorganized and discriminates against young, african american GNA s. I was working there for no more than 3 weeks. I was on orientation for a CMT/GNA position and they said I was not what you call smart enough to take on this job when I passed and succeeded my test for passing my meds. Unit Supervisor checked my check list off and I passed. They fired me over voicemail and told me I was not a good fit because my attendance was not good I missed one day with a doctors note I brought in the very next day. And then told me I was not smart enough for this job: I m 22 everyone else on that job was in their late 30 s. I was the youngest female CMT/GNA there and they took that as a threat and fired me. I m going through legal things now because of this and I would not recommend this to any person of color to work here or send any of your family members here AT ALL. Then when I called multiple times ... left this message and that nobody got back to me nobody returned my calls on why I was being fired nobody could really tell me and nobody should be fired over a voicemail over racial profiling and discrimination of age. I ve worked hard at this young to be where I am with 5 certifications under my name:

The staff was friendly but the state of the place was less desirable with a couple mice (or rats) running around and dried up throw up and stains in some areas throughout the hallways.

Quiet place. They offer activities for residents and meal plans

They take very good care of the Senior Citizens who live there

Not impressed with the way this facility runs. I was a NA student and did my clinical at their facility on their 4th floor assisted living. The staff is not friendly and they were really rude to most of the residents. I watched for a week straight how awful they treated these innocent people. Not all of the staff was bad but a good percentage of them. I understand that this does not all fall on Pickersgill but on their individual staff. I suggest upper management take a good look into who they have working on that unit because its honestly sicking to watch. I watched a 97 year old resident ask for help to use the bathroom and 2 out of the 3 nurses we asked to help ignored her. Her main nurse found out she needed to use the restroom kept her waiting for 15 mins, made a face and continued to walk past her and talk to other co workers. When she was told again that this resident had to use the bathroom she took her out of the dinning room and wheeled her out to the common area where she was left to soil herself until her caregiver arrived. That was a small incident we saw take place. I wish there was something we could have said or physically done to help this poor woman but we had no power to assist or demand that she be taken care of. I could not post without adding at least 1 star to this but if it were up to me I would not give it a star.

Would not remeommend at all. This establishment is very unorganized, they do not care so much for the needs of the residents. They have mice running around as well and some of the residents have to eat there around mice on a trap. The residents also get their food very late due to unorganized staff and poor mangement. Honestly save your time and your effort for some where that is better. Coming from someone who tries to see the good in place, this is not good at all.

Appears to be a very special place I recommend it highly

I ABSOULETLY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY FOR ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A HOME FOR THEIR LOVED ONES THERE'S SO MUCH TO OFFER THE STAFF IS ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL AND YOU AND YOU'RE LOVED ONES WILL HAVE THE BEST LIFE EXPERIENCE IF THERE IS ANY WHERE TO PUT YOUR PARENT'S GRAND PARENT'S AUNT, UNCLES, ECT, THIS IS THE ONE
