Ideal for kids animals to feed crazy golf and play areas
Not a bad place to go to, not over fed animals unlike some other places. It s been there for a long time I guess as their rides are more like antiques (which adds a bit of charm). It s a great day out with kids but to be better, they should update some of the things.
We went on a slightly damp winters day and the farm had lots shut understandably. Some of the enclosures to the back of the park stood empty but the Goats, Llamas, Cows and smaller animals all seemed very well looked after.
Great place for kids of all ages. Good variety of animals and playgrounds as well as soft play and some rides
It's good for a small farm, but could do with a bit of modernisation
Lovely place to take your kids, loved the tractor ride, good food and so many activities to keep the little one busy and enjoy all day. Great place for picnic and friendly staff
It was nice to be out and about at the farm today. thoe the tractor never came even after waiting outside for it
the staff were very scarce and not quite helpful. I guess the cold doesn't help. we look forward to visiting again in the summer maybe we will have a bit more fun then.
Amazing place! Just love this and the beautiful animals. Everything is tended to properly and it s lovely seeing the workers around the animals and looking after them. Lovely day for the kids. The animals are super friendly and love a selfie or two. Lots of space for kids to run around and have a lovely day out, you can buy feed for the animals and kids can feed them as they go along. It s awesome I love it
So much for the kids to do! Can't wait to come here in the summer
Stunning place to wonder around wiya batlle of scotch...
I was disappointed with Woodside as it's now just a glorified playground with a few animals thrown in, no labels to tell you what sort of chicken duck or pheasant just one that describes the breed not individual species.
The building look like they need sprucing up the ponds were in a very poor state and I only saw two workers on the farm, one in the restaurant with arms folded looking bored, one in the shop same as, looking bored and the young lady in the booth, polite and the only busy one.
The miniature horse seemed to have a problem with its feet as kicking around and lifting it's feet up alternately,
possibly needing attention with shoes.
The cows looked bored and in general
the animals didn't look happy.
A very disappointing couple of hours, it was never like this when I worked there for Philip Jempson, tough but fair and cared for the animals and staff alike,
so I it's fare to say I will not be returning to Woodside again.
Worth every penny. Fab day out. We've been many times now.
It was a good experience for us. At The entrance there is a shop where you can buy fresh eggs or honey, but also toys for kids and snacks for your self and the animals. The animals are cute aren t shy at all they come towards you. You can have Traktor ride at specific times which drive you through the farm. Inside the farm there is small restaurant where you can get ice cream and snacks for small price. A lot of fun activities for kids available. I would definitely recommend for families with kids. It will be a nice adventure for the kids!
I visited a few years ago and there used to be a lot more variety of animals to see, now not so much.
But the price is very reasonable and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Theres plenty of space to run around, and where the variety of animals lack, there's tractor rides, parks, trampolines, fairground style rides, crazy golf and soft play.
We will be back again.
This is a great place to take the kids so much to do friendly staff and safe environment, have cafe and other places to eat was enjoyable.
Our kids enjoyed here a lot....I was in Luton 5 times but never knew about the place.
Best place for outing with small ones....tractor ride.....animals...nice ambience.
Had a great day. Brought three chicks. The staff were full of information. The chicks are in perfect condition and they love their new home.
Great for younger kids, bit shabby in places but enough to see and do.
I took my 8 year old grandson and he really enjoyed it.
We were there all day in the play areas and even had the chance to hold a few of the animals.
Visited here a few months ago. Had a pleasant day out with the family. It could do with updating in places, especially some of the rides, to make it more attractive and appealing to visitors but would come again nevertheless.
Brilliant place for kids, especially toddlers and very reasonably priced for a family day out. Will definitely be going back frequently :)
We have bought chickens both point of lay and day old chicks from here a number of times in the last 10 years. They are not the cheapest but they have usually been healthy birds with the exception of one day old chick that had bandy legs.
Fabulous place for young children. We visited while waiting for a flight from Luton and had a lovely few hours. Highly recommended.
Nice local farm with a shop. Nice park and indoor play area. A little expensive for what it is perhaps.
Not as good as it used to be but worth a after school visit
Great little place needs a little updating on the rides but great Anyway
Perfect for small children. The facilities have been updated and the small rides are perfect for young children.
I cant fault the staff at all they were very helpful when my electric wheelchiar needed charging was able to enjoy a coffee while it charged thankyou and the grankids loved it
Daughter loves feeding the animals plus there are other things to do and animals you can hold that are totally different from other local farms
Good farm to go with young children . The outdoor play areas actually outweigh the animals . Don't expect a large range of farm animals to see. The price reflects this .
Cheap and cheerful, nice day out for the kids but unlikely to return soon.
Plenty of animals to see and play grounds for kids available
Great family day out. We've been a year pass family for ages. Great indoor and outdoor activities
Excellent stop. Well worth the trip. Great friendly staff and the kids love it!!
A well-organised animal farm with connected cafes ( one inside for a quick bite and one in the car park) and ondoor softplay area.
You can feed the animals and interact with them at specific times of the day. At certain time it is possible having a ride on the carriage pulled by the tractor. Several other outdoor activities include a mini-golf, electric tractors, carousel rides, pedal go-chart and another riding areas for smaller kids. Overall plenty of fun for your kids.
Brilliant place.
Only been during term time, but it is excellent. Can easily spend a whole day here.
Come with a 2 year old who has a great time and normally falls asleep in the car on the way back.
Very knowledgeable about the stock and helpful. My first call when looking for advice. Some lovely birds available.
Terible experience. The place is sad, the pony looks sad and unkempt. All atractions are closed.
Great value for money, with a little cafe and free crazy golf.
Great value for money for the amount of activities the kids can do here. Meeting the animals is always the highlight of coming here though!
Visited for a birthday party with the kids. Lots of animals to see and interact with. Tractor rides, which the kids enjoyed, and indoor soft play area, as well as outdoor play areas.
Great place to take young children. Food not the best but its ok! but its worth going for the children's soft play in the cafeteria which is a real pull for families. Would definitely go again.
Lovely little place for the kids to have fun and see some of the animals. Not as big or as packed as Mead but that's what I love about this place
Good place to take kids for a day or half a day. Not too many animals to see but has indoor playing area for kids and cafeteria inside. You can eat relax and watch the kids from same place.
Very good value and making a real effort to improve the place. Had a great winters day here with two 9 year old who said they loved it
Had a good, winter mornings visit. Staff all friendly and the children love the animal 'hands on' sessions and tractor rides
I really liked this place despite the fact that it could use a little TLC. The entry fees are very reasonable and there are no extras to pay for the rides in the 'funfair' section or the trampolines. The crazy golf was free too, but is in need of upgrading.
There is a good selection of wildlife to see including lemurs (with a delightful baby lemur on view), peacocks, who were constantly putting on a display of their feathers, pigmy goats, sheep, pigs, llama, alpacas, chickens (you can buy live chickens if you wish) etc. There are also a couple of indoor animal shows a day and tractor rides.
The playground is extensive with plenty of picnic tables.
There are two indoor softplay areas for different ages.
The food is OK.
The farm shop is well stocked and you can purchase freshly laid eggs from it which you can choose yourself from hen coop if you wish. There are also independent shops on site, one which sold a lot of gluten free food.
The staff were very friendly.
All in all there is plenty to do and we really enjoyed our time there with our granddaughter.
Havnt been here for years since my daughters were little in there 30s now went with my daughter + my granddaughter who is under 2 + hr cousin who is 6 its ok for little ones she enjoyed it bit dated not a bad day out cafe not 2 bad
Got my 4 beautiful.girls from there and they are thriving ...I do mean my chickens...fab place
Great day out and good value for money. Animals to pet, tractor rides, indoor play barn and outdoor play areas and crazy golf. Lovely staff too
Great fun for children of all ages. You can really get up close with the animals.
Nice small place. Animals really healthy looking and happy too. The lunch was tasty. My only issue was with toddler play barn. No supervision.
One 5ish year old entered the toddler and started a throw anything you can game. They should consider more supervision or CCTV please. No tap water due to softener!!! That s a first. Buy bottled water!!!! Really?
Fab farm experience with our 2 year old grandson. It has goats, llama, alpaca, sheep, pigs, cows and more. Such a lovely place with lots of play areas for children. Soft play was closed due to covid but plenty else for children to do including a free tractor ride and free crazy golf.
Great value for money
Great place for a family day out. My daughters love to spend time here , we even had our eldest birthday party there and everyone enjoyed. Highly recommended
Great day apart from the food. Proper moody. The rest of the place is great
A very good day out for young children. Friendly staff.
Really enjoyed here with the family inside and outside there was always something to do plus really good soft play area inside. animals are well looked after and cared for
Improved alot since last time I went alot more to do and alot more for your money
Lovely place, happily spend a day here with my 3 kids (12, 2 & 1). Loads to do for all ages and I enjoy it just as much as the kids. Great staff, great prices. Only negative, they don't cook food in the cafe anymore, used to love thier chilli and chips. They do still do a selection of food that can be heated, paninnis etc.
Plenty of fun for the whole family, don't forget to buy some large animal feed at the farm shop :)
I went to the farm today (Saturday the 30th) and I was very happy at the experience. Firstly, the Toilets, all that I used were very clean and smelt very nice. That cleaner definitely deserves a pay increase as even Whipsnade Zoo isn t that clean. All the rides staff were lovely but I think the catering staff were the friendliness. They were all so polite and friendly. We had a lovely conversation with the young man working, who s name I shan t mention publicly, while it was quiet who obviously knows a lot about the area and the way around the farm and was more than happy to answer any questions we had. But most importantly all the staff seemed like they were enjoying their jobs. The farm needs a bit of TLC but the animals were happy and that s all that matters really isn t it. Will definitely go again and possibly get membership.
Lovely place, cheap entry and so fun to feed the animals!
