Not a bad place to go to, not over fed animals unlike some other places. It s been there for a long time I guess as their rides are more like antiques (which adds a bit of charm). It s a great day out with kids but to be better, they should update some of the things.

We went on a slightly damp winters day and the farm had lots shut understandably. Some of the enclosures to the back of the park stood empty but the Goats, Llamas, Cows and smaller animals all seemed very well looked after.

It was nice to be out and about at the farm today. thoe the tractor never came even after waiting outside for it
the staff were very scarce and not quite helpful. I guess the cold doesn't help. we look forward to visiting again in the summer maybe we will have a bit more fun then.

Amazing place! Just love this and the beautiful animals. Everything is tended to properly and it s lovely seeing the workers around the animals and looking after them. Lovely day for the kids. The animals are super friendly and love a selfie or two. Lots of space for kids to run around and have a lovely day out, you can buy feed for the animals and kids can feed them as they go along. It s awesome I love it

I was disappointed with Woodside as it's now just a glorified playground with a few animals thrown in, no labels to tell you what sort of chicken duck or pheasant just one that describes the breed not individual species.
The building look like they need sprucing up the ponds were in a very poor state and I only saw two workers on the farm, one in the restaurant with arms folded looking bored, one in the shop same as, looking bored and the young lady in the booth, polite and the only busy one.
The miniature horse seemed to have a problem with its feet as kicking around and lifting it's feet up alternately,
possibly needing attention with shoes.
The cows looked bored and in general
the animals didn't look happy.
A very disappointing couple of hours, it was never like this when I worked there for Philip Jempson, tough but fair and cared for the animals and staff alike,
so I it's fare to say I will not be returning to Woodside again.

It was a good experience for us. At The entrance there is a shop where you can buy fresh eggs or honey, but also toys for kids and snacks for your self and the animals. The animals are cute aren t shy at all they come towards you. You can have Traktor ride at specific times which drive you through the farm. Inside the farm there is small restaurant where you can get ice cream and snacks for small price. A lot of fun activities for kids available. I would definitely recommend for families with kids. It will be a nice adventure for the kids!

I visited a few years ago and there used to be a lot more variety of animals to see, now not so much.

But the price is very reasonable and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Theres plenty of space to run around, and where the variety of animals lack, there's tractor rides, parks, trampolines, fairground style rides, crazy golf and soft play.

We will be back again.

Visited here a few months ago. Had a pleasant day out with the family. It could do with updating in places, especially some of the rides, to make it more attractive and appealing to visitors but would come again nevertheless.

We have bought chickens both point of lay and day old chicks from here a number of times in the last 10 years. They are not the cheapest but they have usually been healthy birds with the exception of one day old chick that had bandy legs.

A well-organised animal farm with connected cafes ( one inside for a quick bite and one in the car park) and ondoor softplay area.
You can feed the animals and interact with them at specific times of the day. At certain time it is possible having a ride on the carriage pulled by the tractor. Several other outdoor activities include a mini-golf, electric tractors, carousel rides, pedal go-chart and another riding areas for smaller kids. Overall plenty of fun for your kids.

Brilliant place.

Brilliant place.
Only been during term time, but it is excellent. Can easily spend a whole day here.

Come with a 2 year old who has a great time and normally falls asleep in the car on the way back.

I really liked this place despite the fact that it could use a little TLC. The entry fees are very reasonable and there are no extras to pay for the rides in the 'funfair' section or the trampolines. The crazy golf was free too, but is in need of upgrading.

There is a good selection of wildlife to see including lemurs (with a delightful baby lemur on view), peacocks, who were constantly putting on a display of their feathers, pigmy goats, sheep, pigs, llama, alpacas, chickens (you can buy live chickens if you wish) etc. There are also a couple of indoor animal shows a day and tractor rides.

The playground is extensive with plenty of picnic tables.

There are two indoor softplay areas for different ages.

The food is OK.

The farm shop is well stocked and you can purchase freshly laid eggs from it which you can choose yourself from hen coop if you wish. There are also independent shops on site, one which sold a lot of gluten free food.

The staff were very friendly.

All in all there is plenty to do and we really enjoyed our time there with our granddaughter.

Nice small place. Animals really healthy looking and happy too. The lunch was tasty. My only issue was with toddler play barn. No supervision.

One 5ish year old entered the toddler and started a throw anything you can game. They should consider more supervision or CCTV please. No tap water due to softener!!! That s a first. Buy bottled water!!!! Really?

Fab farm experience with our 2 year old grandson. It has goats, llama, alpaca, sheep, pigs, cows and more. Such a lovely place with lots of play areas for children. Soft play was closed due to covid but plenty else for children to do including a free tractor ride and free crazy golf.
Great value for money

Lovely place, happily spend a day here with my 3 kids (12, 2 & 1). Loads to do for all ages and I enjoy it just as much as the kids. Great staff, great prices. Only negative, they don't cook food in the cafe anymore, used to love thier chilli and chips. They do still do a selection of food that can be heated, paninnis etc.

I went to the farm today (Saturday the 30th) and I was very happy at the experience. Firstly, the Toilets, all that I used were very clean and smelt very nice. That cleaner definitely deserves a pay increase as even Whipsnade Zoo isn t that clean. All the rides staff were lovely but I think the catering staff were the friendliness. They were all so polite and friendly. We had a lovely conversation with the young man working, who s name I shan t mention publicly, while it was quiet who obviously knows a lot about the area and the way around the farm and was more than happy to answer any questions we had. But most importantly all the staff seemed like they were enjoying their jobs. The farm needs a bit of TLC but the animals were happy and that s all that matters really isn t it. Will definitely go again and possibly get membership.
