Woods services

Throughout the years I have had the wonderful experience of visiting a very special resident at Woods. It has always warmed my heart to witness the care and compassion the caregivers have for the residents of Woods. I have worked with special needs children and adults for 20years in the public sector, so I can Recognize the generosity of heart and spirit these caregivers provide. Recently, I visited Woods with three other friends to donate quilts we made with love in honor of a special person. We were greeted with an abundance of love, kindness and warmth as we entered the facility until the moment we left. It was an extremely rewarding experience to have a first hand look at the genuine care, compassion and love these caregivers afford their charges. Each and every person at Woods deserves a standing ovation for their dedication and devotion to each and every resident. God bless them.

Abuse happens here I reported it and staff left marks on the child, and the parent was so angry, and never got fired. Gonna pull my kids out of this school, and the staff go to sleep always. Former worker

My son is being discharged in 9 days. He has made much progress! His care takers really love the kids in his house. My son loves them so much that when he comes home to visit he wants them to come too. My only problem was sometimes it was hard to communicate with the staff. But in would recommend this place to everyone.

My son has been going to woods for two years. The first two years were great , but now they have change stuff it s horrible. The staff have zero training it appears . The principal Ms. Lana you can t trust at all . I suggest if you have family who attends woods this 2020 etc you check on them . To make sure there not being swept under a rug . Also principal attitude and staff I have dealt with are very unprofessional and will lie if your child is non verbal. Check on your babies. Reviews matters check them and check up on your family ( child) the principal is just not professional at all . The staff even put other people s mask on my son and he is very familiar with the mask issue

I have been friends with parents of a resident of Woods Services for 28 years. Their daughter was placed in an in-state residential program, only to be told years later that her needs could no longer be met there. She was then placed at Woods Services. She has been a resident there for the past 10 years. She has a severe seizure disorder and is medically fragile. She receives around the clock care. Each and every one of her caretakers treats her with compassion and sincere love. I witnessed this firsthand when I was visiting the campus recently to present the residents with homemade quilts. The caretakers were treating approximately 30 ladies, of all ages, with kindness and gentleness. The level of treatment I saw brought me to tears. My friends have been extremely grateful for the love and care given to their daughter. The workers at Woods Services are truly special people with a God given gift.

i would NOT recommend this place i have lived there and it is a abuseive invirment please dont send you kids there

It s an awesome organization. I work there as a program specialist. The love and team spirit there is amazing. The feels like home. I have met some amazing helpful people there What s more, woods is an equal opportunity employer. Please come on board, woods now hiring

Don t bring your kids here they abuse the client I use to work there the worst place to work & to have kids in they will beat them in they room I m so glad I left

I just have to say a group from woods came into the restuarant I work at last night. The staff was so great! They laughed engaged and genuinely had a great time with each other it was wonderful to see and a pleasure serving them.

Do not recommend this residence for no one! My daughter has come home with marks/bruises all over her body the only explanation they have given us is that she has hurting herself which is not true because she NEVER did that in our care. A lot of clothes and shoes that she needed went missing for no apparent reason.
