Best Orthopedic clinic!

Best Orthopedic clinic!
Over the last year, I have been in and out of family practice for neck pain, shoulder pain, and numbness in my right arm. Their inability to diagnose promptly is a separate story. What I can say is that through the right channels I was able to get to the Orthopedics department where I met MAJ Andrew Cleveland M.D. Pinched nerves in my c-4- c-6 were the culprit and DR. Cleveland was able to give me a few options to address my issues. I went with the spinal fusion and in a matter of a week and a few days I was in for surgery. The treatment that I received was the best care that I have ever had in my 31 years of being treated at Army hospitals. Dr. Cleveland and his team had kept me well informed, were direct, punctual, and thankfully precise. The surgery was successful, and I have had absolutely no nerve pain since. It doesn t stop there . Post care has been just as good. Anytime I called for a question I received a call back that very day if not answered right away. Nurse Rachel treated me as if I was the only patient and ensured that there was no wait to my medicine refills. Again, this is my life, my livelihood, and I can t say thank you enough to Dr. Cleveland and his entire team.

If you have the option of going to another clinic please do so! I cannot tell you how many times I have received bad customer service! Doctor Clement is my provider and he s the best they ve got!! If you need a specialty care appointment I recommend doing it over the phone as the lady at the front desk needs to be let go for the lack of enthusiasm she has when it comes to dealing with spouses, dependents, etc.

Dr. Cleveland performed a microdiscectomy on my lower spine 2 weeks ago. He set very realistic expectations and surpassed them. I felt immediate relief and was walking several hours after the procedure was complete. As a result of this procedure and his efforts, my quality of life has increased drastically in just a few short weeks.

I was seen at the ER for seizures and it took me awhile to get seen and brought back, since I didn't have a seizure and walked in. When I actually had a seizure on the floor in the ER bathroom, I was brought back immediately. (Go figure) The ER doctor was very rude and his first question he asked me if I was a psych patient and why was I faking my seizure. What!!?? HE was extremely rude and very unprofessional. He taught his EMT/Paramedic trainees more about psych patients then about seizures. He kept asking me what I would like to be treated for and he is very upset I went into the ER and that I could not tell him what I would like to be treated for. NOW, my husband was with me and he told him to not say a word, that it has to all come from me. Understandable, since he would like to see how long it takes me to come out of my seizure, but unprofessionally done. Needless to say, he didn't care about my history and the fact I was there with seizures 3 weeks prior and treated me for a UTI only and sent me on my way. No Neuro consult or seizure protocols or checks were done. I was flabbergasted they let him practice and he still calls himself a doctor. Dr. Patrick Crane you should be ashamed of yourself.

The ER needs a complete overhaul! Something terrible will happen because of the negligence! I would like to talk to someone in administration! My daughter and future grandchild deserved better care. I m a former labor and delivery nurse but live 12 hours away.

I've been here on two different occasions trying to get my IUD removed. Note that the scheduling took a month and a half before the first available time slot. The first nurse I saw, Erin Kiser, seemed as if she didn't know what she was doing and said she couldn't locate my IUD. She ordered an ultrasound to be done, and then have me come back. Three more weeks passed before they were able to get me into radiology and then back. The IUD was imbedded in my uterus. Now, Dr Thimmesch was one of the WORST doctors I've had experience with. He was very rough with the instruments during the procedure, and basically kept saying it was my fault for getting an IUD with the type of uterus I have (which nobody told me would be a problem). He also kept coming back to the birth control question, asking what I'd like to use next, but not offering any non-hormonal options. He mocked me for not getting anything and said I should have a conversation telling my husband I want to get pregnant. (My husband is not here at the moment, so I assured him that I don't need birth control immediately..) There are not enough words to describe how poor of an experience this was!!!

I give these five stars ONLY to the staff of Labor and Delivery: they really strive to be the best. The ENT surgeon I ve seen for my 2 month old was also the BEST! BUT.. With this hospital it all depends on who you find because I ve also had terrible experiences as well. I visited the ER couple of times and the first time I found a wonderful (not to mention super funny) Physician. He treated me with patient and genuine care. I was in and out, first great experience. Even tho I was in pain I had an awesome time. The second time however, I found the rudest most incompetent nurse and the most cold careless doctor. The nurse bruised the hell out of my arm I couldn t move for almost a week, the doctor, even though I mentioned different things that caused my pain, ignored it and treated me for what he believed was the only cause. The obgyn clinic host some of the rudest employees and some of the rudest midwifes. I can t explain how bad of a pregnancy experience I had with these people. In conclusion, Womack Army Medical Center should hire nicer employees considering that going to the hospital is already not fun, if you add that who you need to go talk to won t say good morning, thank you, you re welcome.

@ this hospital on a regular day (not too busy) you will wait about an hour just to get your vitals, another hour to get your ekg (if needed), an hour to get your xray, and another 2 hours to get the results. Literally this was my experience when i brought my wife to the ER cause she was suffering from a chest pain she had been experiencing for about a week. Some receptionists are chitchatting most of the time. Very bad experirnce at this hospital, hope the government can see this hospitals inefficient system and hope the do something to improve it. Not only that we are losing valuable time, but it feels like this hospital is incapable of undrstanding what emergency means

If you have an emergency go somewhere else!

If you have an emergency go somewhere else!

Left in the ER for 6 hours in excruciating pain, no treatment.
Extreme pain, high vitals, and medical history that should be of concern. Was treated like I was faking it. Finally after 5 hours of waiting was taken back for a test that had nothing to do with my symptoms. We were then told it would be another 6-8 hours before those results would be in and placed back in the waiting room.
This is the second time they have done this to us.
The first was when my infant daughter had a seizure. She wasn't acting like herself, lethargic, and was just overall out off it. They left her in the ER for 6 hours before doing anything. An infant who had a seizure, left untreated for hours. That should have been a priority but it wasn't.

I just wanted to thank the staff at WAMC. I was there for back surgery due to a herniated disc. Not only did the Orthopedic staff take great care of me, but also the surgery staff was amazing as well. I'd like to thank Dr. Cleveland and his team for the outstanding patient care that they gave me. WAMC has renewed my faith in military care as everything from the facilities , to the food, to the care was excellent.

Not a fan of the OBGYN clinic! Especially being active duty! I found out I was pregnant very early at 5 weeks so I called for an apt and they told me the first apt would be my 8 week mark. Went to my apt and they pretty much said yep your pregnant here is more info in a packet see u at 12 weeks. I had no check up ultra sound, or even listen to a heart beat. Went to sick call to see if they could tell me why I m dizzy and can t breath they just told me to go to the er. I went to the er and found out I m having twins, I m anemic an have low blood pressure. Unfortunately being active duty I can t even switch to standard to be seen off base. Worst hospital ever!

I have been to Womack for a miscarriage and then later transferred in as a 20 week OB patient (from select to prime)and truly cannot day enough good things about both the OB department, L&D or the hospital itself.

During my miscarriage, the entire staff tended so gently but honestly with my husband and I as we had a toddler in tow whom they also allowed to stay around and with me as much as possible.

As an OB patient, the office staff is wonderfully kind and helpful! You do have to listen to directions and call when they ask you to in order to schedule timely appointments but I have had no problem with my midwife or seeing her.

At 23 weeks I visited triage in L&D for minor issues and the entire staff was pleasant, timely and informative.

I cannot wait to give birth here at this hospital and update this review once again but I have no doubt it ll remain a positive one.

This review is only a reflection of the ER services.
Back story: when I was in high school I fractured my foot, it never healed properly and is always visible on xrays.

My story: I go to the ER after dropping a big jug of laundry detergent on my bad foot. I was for 2.5 hours to get seen in triage. (While waiting I watch a lady literally pouring blood on the floor for at least 2 hours) Wait another 1.5 hours to get X-rays. Some PA comes in my room 45 minutes later and says. You are all good to go, X-ray is perfect. IMPOSSIBLE. I ask to see another dr. They refuse. Take a risk with Cape Fear Hospital for them to find 3 fractures and ligament damage in 1 hour. I don t recommend womack ER.

This is the absolute worst clinic I have ever been too. They are constantly over booked, sometimes I have to wait a month for an appointment and several times I ve gotten class back saying they have to change my appointment date. THE NURSES ARE SO RUDE! Every single time I come here they say something offensive regarding me being a somewhat young mom. They will always give you the run around and not really listen to what you want or need. Go to Robinson where they treat you like a normal person!

I had Cervical Disk Arthroplasty on July 15th. I was then released from the hospital with a clean bill of health. Doctor Cleveland, Andrew did an amazing job on my surgery and took great personal care in my situation to make sure i was taken care of and comfortable. Today is the 21st and i am Recovering remarkably. The nurses and his team where all kind and deeply considerate (considering i had surgery on my birthday, this was a blessing.) They were understanding and extremely professional. The Anesthesiologist team made it seem like the surgery was done in mere moments, one second i was on my way to surgery the next i was waking up in recovery. This experience with all the staff who was assigned to me made me deeply grateful to Womack and the Army medical teams. Thank you for the kindness and professionalism, your care and dutiful diligence to your oaths and myself. If i could rate this Team and hospital a 100/10 I would. Regardless of the other reviews and past experiences this is by far the best care i have ever received from Womack. I HIGHLY Recommend Doctor Cleveland and his team, for the rest of my life i have them to thank for the use of my left arm and the fix to my spine as well as the relief from the agonizing pain i was in for the last 5 months. Even now i can type out this review better due to them. As a 27 year old in the military to have such an invasive surgery they may have simply given me a new future. Words Cannot express how thankful i am. I hope this review reaches those it needs in the higher echelons of the medical command and Womack staff so they see how dedicated this team is to not only their patients but to the betterment of Womack its reputation and the Army Medical System as a whole. Thank you for the lives you change and the futures you save. I and my family for one will be forever grateful.

So, I just got off the phone from the clinic ops and trying to get a clinic for my pregnant wife. I rate 3 for now since no positive nor negative stuff have happened yet. Hoping to have a good experience with them atleast for my wife and my baby. We'll see what happens in the next 9months.

Update: had a very nice experience throughout my wife's pregnancy and delivery. Staff was very nice in the labor section.

It's a nice place, it has slightly improved over time but many more care needs to be made/provided to patients. Some of the clinics have gotten better in costumer service but the ER needs to act as such, as an ER and get patients seen soon. I see why everyone I speak to goes to the ERs offpost than to go in the ER there, the system is there just the expediency needs to improve drastically.

Dr Cleveland performed an L5/S1 Spinal Fusion Anterior/posterior on me 2 days ago ... I was a difficult case due to the extreme angle that my spine had shifted forward collapsing the disc and impinging on my nerves, and I ve dealt with the problem for several years seeking help thru the VA which was great and hitting all the marks Phy therapy, chiropractic, and finally pain management, but the pain continued to ramp up to the point I sought other care first from a civilian provider then to Womack where a plan came together quickly. The surgery was fine day 1 I still had some residual nerve pain that at day 2 was nonexistent, the Staff In 2N where I recovered is terrific the best nurses and food I ve ever had or seen in a hospital. A special shout out the LT Abby Blakeman my Nurse. Great care and experience! Womack Ortho is hands down the best ortho care I have ever experienced. They have put this old Paratrooper back together several times over my career and i recommend them unhesitatingly!

I hear a lot of negative things that are said about Womack but I can't say enough positive things about my experiences there! The care and attention I have received at Womack has been nothing but superior. The doctors and midwives there have went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. When I was admitted for the flu while pregnant, the doctors were very thorough in checking for every ailment before allowing me to be released. As a soon-to-be mother of two, this definitely put my mind at ease. I can't speak for the other departments, but as for obstetrics, PAD, labor/delivery and the pharmacy, the care is top notch and the doctors and pharmacists are extremely cautious!

Waited 5 hours with my 6 year old son and no hope for an open room. He is extremely short of breath, has chest pains and is in agonizing pain! Understaffed and tired staff, one girl took us back for xrays told me she delayed purposely taking the next patient, also worked very inefficiently. A Dr took her patients out and I realized she did so that she could text while outside building. One guy asked where his wife was, she wasnt in the check in roster even though she did check in and was seen in the back. Many more noticeable signs of inefficiency...people standing up no room to sit down. Staff didn't enforce flu masks.I got so worried about my son in agony and his condition I simply couldn't take it anymore and left to CAPE FEAR PEDIATRIC.

Waited for 4 hrs in the ER and still haven t been seen for possible miscarriage while in my 2nd trimester (not far enough to go to labor and delivery). They told me all the people that are getting seen and leaving quickly are being treated for acute issues. So if I had less of an emergency, I d get seen sooner?? A man, yes a male, was able to get an ultrasound and they still can t tell me if my baby is okay. Decided to leave because I wasn t close to being next. Sadly the urgent care is the exact same way..

Worse experience since ever I went to the emergency room to have an ingrown toe nail removed due to infection and puss and blood was came from the area earlier. I was told I had to wait until Tuesday which was 3 days later to have it fixed. The doctor said to take Motrin and keep Soaking my foot and try removing it myself. Then I had to return to emergency room due to my baby boy was sick. Once I arrived their was no one at the check, and the same lady watched me walk in and didn't say anything but instead walked to the check in desk and checked in a couple that came after. Once I approached her and asked her problem she said their was no problem. I made lady aware my son was sick, then my baby boy coughed she jerked away like he had a disease that would kill her instantly. My baby is a mixed race, then another lady of her same race walks up and coughs she didn't jerk away or anything and said to the lady I hope you feel better. Another lady and fellow soldier walks in with their baby girl to check in baby, this baby coughed, no response like she did with my child. She was even nicer and showed a nicer compassionate side for the child. I pray they get new staff that would replace them soon, or get a class on customer service, and Get an EO class really soon.

The ER is terrible, highly disappointed. I have sickle cell anemia and was in a pain crisis level 10, and had to wait 7+ hours and still wasn t seen. There were people that came in hours after me being seen before me. When my husband addressed this the nurse stated that people that have minor cases go first... so the patients that are more severe are last. There should be a priority list for people that really have an EMERGENCY/or serious life threatening conditions. Womack doesn t care how much pain you re in or how severe your problem is because they aren t held liable.

Womack Family Medicine Residency Clinic is by the ...

Womack Family Medicine Residency Clinic is by the worst place I ve ever been to or dealt with in my entire life. I m 19 weeks pregnant and feel like I m being forced to be seen by this clinic. When I asked for a TriCare referral, I was denied and PROMISED I would receive the best service and care by their team. LIES! Example: I was told by my provider to schedule my 16 week appointment around January 17th, well she didn t have anything available so the next available appointment would be January 22nd. It was scheduled, the morning of my appointment I got a call saying my appointment was cancelled. How inconvenient and they rescheduled me for February 5th, well I get another call the same day saying I could come in on January 26th and be seen by another physician only to be called back the next day and told that that appointment had been cancelled to and there was no way I could be seen by anyone other than my primary care provider. Couple of hours go by and my primary care provider calls saying that she ll see me as a walk in the following day. Okay, Great! That appointment goes well and she schedules me to come back and be seen on February 19th, not realizing that day is Presidents day and the clinic wouldn t be open, I call back this morning to just confirm if I would have that appointment or not... I m redirected and told to call at least 5 different numbers none of which I get an answer from an actual person just automated voicemail machines. When I finally do get in contact with a human, I get the nastiest attitudes from these people who only believe in doing their job and only their job. If it s not within arms reach or something that can t be pulled on the computer it s well, I don t know who or what you re talking about so let me transfer you and I m back at square one! On top of that, I ve been dealing with GERDS during my pregnancy and on Sunday night I went to the ER hoping for some relief. I was prescribed Zantac and it s not helping at all only making it worse. I called trying to get in touch with my provider after texting her and calling her cell phone numerous times and gotten no response. I guess I m just out of luck. I can t get in touch with no one at the clinic or through the personal number of my provider. My experience with Womack has been horrible so far, hopefully it ll get better towards the end of my pregnancy.

If you don't want things done, or you don't really need help but you like to hang out at the ER, this is the right place for you. You can check in, relax, set up a tent, pull out your sleeping bag and wait for 6 hrs and go home. However, if you want to get treated or talk to an actual doctor to discuss your medical emergency, I recommend looking some place else. Seriously, you'll be better off typing your symptoms on Google and just go to a pharmacy.

To PCS to this Base while 12 weeks pregnant is a n...

To PCS to this Base while 12 weeks pregnant is a nightmare. The facility refuses to accept my prior prenatal care (confirmed blood work, Ultrasounds) and prior referral by my Fort Sill PCM.and has left me in an atmosphere of unnecessary stress. I have complied to every direction provided to me and "humored" their redundant policies despite my recent ER Visit for OB related issue (which also provided lab work and US), and still am unable to receive the required intake appointment to be seen as an OB patient, and I have called Ms. Taylor every day since Wednesday. I fear that by the time I receive the necessary prenatal care I will be way into my second trimester or in labor. So far, this process has been a major disappointment.

Now the ER, (while I cannot speak for day shift crew and patient volume), was extraordinary. I woke up in the middle of the night on Sunday, May 28 with a severe concern related to my pregnancy and was treated immediately by Dr. Rose. The staff there had excellent teamwork, great sense of humor, and was expedient in addressing my needs. The triage team was very understanding, asked focused questions, and was very professional. I was beyond satisfied in my care and walked out with my anxiety relieved. Gloria, my primary nurse deserves recognition for being on top of my care and keeping me informed. I thank everyone involved in my care.

I may be biased (as I am an ER nurse by trade), but if every department performed on a similar ground as this ER (Common Sense Care, Quick Response, and Prioritization of Patients), then I'm sure this facility would have higher ratings. Bureaucracy managing health care professionals is a poor tactic and prevents continuity of care and is neither best practice nor is it truly safe.

Affirmative action takes standards to new lows with this place. Has political correctness gone too far with forcing equal opportunity inefficiency on everyone? Yes, yes it has. The nonmedical staff are a bureaucratic nightmare. These are people that not only hate their job but shouldn't interact with living organism at all.
I did visit the ER once. I crushed my toe and was in a lot of pain, but apparently you need to be bawling your eyes out to be taken seriously. I sat there waiting in pain for 5 hours. I watched 2 dependapottamus kids with the sniffles come in and be treated before me. I finally got up and asked for something for the pain after waiting for an hour and a half and they said they could get me Motrin. I hope for the ER staff's sake they never have to advanced a career based off of merit.

Dr. Andrew W. Cleveland III, M.D.
Orthopedic Spine Surgeon
Procedure: L5-S1 Anterior Lumbar Fusion

I personally want to thank Dr. Cleveland and his Anesthesiologist team for their outstanding professionalism and dedication to their work to ensure every patient gets the care they need. I can tell you from experience that I would definitely do it all over again because you will not find another doctor that can provide the experience, knowledge and skills that Dr. Cleveland has, he treats you like a human being and literally cares about your recovery and post treatment.

His nursing staff and the orthopedic radiology inside the clinic are top notch, I always have the best experiences while being seen there. The Commander of Womack Army Medical Center should be proud to have such an outstanding Spine Surgeon.

Thanks Doc, I know this is past due!!!!

So care there was okay. I went in to have my baby and got an epidural and another medication. But when it came time to birth baby, the doctor asked me if he could preform an episiotomy and I told the doctor NO. Well then he tells me, " Well I already did it". I did not consent! Most of the staff at the okay but there are a few that do not respect your choices... I did not consent to the episiotomy. I also did not like that the nurses did not allow my husband to go with my daughter to the baby room. Also the staff really needs to update and their car seat knowledge...

This review is specifically for Dr Cleveland Andre...

This review is specifically for Dr Cleveland Andrew. I had back, hip and leg pain for over a year. Tried everything I was referred to in vain and ultimately depended on pain meds. I was being bounced around from doctor to doctor with no solution forthcoming and became so miserable almost depressed. The pain kept getting worse and when I finally got a referral to see Dr. Philip from family medicine which was so hard to get, he saw how miserable my case was, he immediately referred me to Dr. cleaveland who made time within his busy schedule to see me the same day, reviewed my case and he immediately recommended surgery. He was able to squeeze me in for surgery on my back within three business days. This was the most efficient and fast response to treatment I ever gotten from Womack. All the efforts to see a surgeon had failed within the last several months as I would get a referral but they would tell me there is no chance for an appointment.

I was impressed with his expertise and the level of details he provided regarding the problem and procedure he intended to perform. He gave me hope and the stereotype saying that military doctors doesn t care much, he doesn t fall in that category because he genuinely cared and listened to all my concerns explaining every detail. Dr. Cleveland if you ever read this thank you very much and may you continue helping so many Soldiers and thanks to Dr Philip as well. I will not forget the lady who prepared me for surgery, she was very kind, gentle, encouraging she even went ahead and numbed my IV area. She was a real professional but sadly didn t get her name, she told me she had 20 yrs in as a nurse and I think she had a nickname of mad not sure of the spelling , she even sang slowly as she did her job which was very calming . Overall I had awesome care in the hands and expertise of Dr Cleveland and his crew in 2N. I m healing now and hope for the best.

SGT Elliott in ER was amazing, intelligent and very polite. He took care of me when I was really sick. I m a hard stick and he got it first try (they usually need anesthesia to come in for me). I think he s an Enhanced Paramedic? (DONT QUOTE ME ON THAT lol). He came in frequently to check on me, kept me informed on the times for the labs to be processed- He even went so far as to explain to me the reasons for why they run the tests. He actually ended up finding a heart problem on the EKG that the doctor didn t notice (a fib rvr) that I had to be observed over night for. I m so grateful for him and the care he provided. The ER staff/cardiologist was also very polite and timely thank you to every one who took the time to help me and actually make me feel safe!

Despite many bad reviews, I went ahead with Womack for prenatal care and labor/delivery of my son. I had a fantastic experience. I feel like on google people who ve had terrible experiences take the time to leave reviews, but not so much the people who had everything go well. So I m taking time to recommend Womack to anyone at Bragg who is pregnant. I was considered high risk and received excellent care. On a side note, if you re looking for a doula, Doris Ann McMurray is the best of the best. She s been at it for 30+ years at Womack, so having her on your birthing team is having a knowledgeable, experienced ally. Couldn t recommend both her and Womack more.

This is the worst hospital in existence. They have the longest waiting times. Took 3 hours to get my wife seen while she was in the middle of a miscarriage. When you ask them what's taking so long they tell you to sit down and be patient. From a service that's suppose to be a caretaker and reassuring that's hugely disappointing to see service members being treated this way.

This is by far the worse hospital I have gone to in my 10 years of being in the Army. I m currently sitting with my spouse who is going through a miscarriage and we ve been sitting here for over two hours. There is also a lady in front of us who has been here for over 5 hours and she can t even stand up from the pain. This is a complete embarrassment I will file a ICE complaint.

If you can find a doctor off base I d recommend that instead because although some of these doctors and nurses are okay, some of them suck! I loss my baby because every time I d go to the doctor they d tell me nothing was going on and everything looked fine. And after i had her and went and tried to get her records and what not they told me i never gave birth to a baby and started making me feel like I d been crazy or something. It took them hours to find her information so we could give it to the insurance company. So if you re pregnant I d choose some where else to go because this place is trash!!!

Try and call one of Family Medicine Teams at Womack and see if you can actually talk to a real person! If your trying to ask a question or get information about a future appointment and can't wait for a two or three day call back, well don't hold your breath. Womack is infested with bureaucratic swamp non responsive answering machines.

Had major spinal surgery two days ago at Womack led by superlative surgeon Dr Andrew Cleveland and the many nurses and technicians whose names I'll never remember but whose total care will never be forgotten. From Admission through to my discharge yesterday - total professional care and consideration. Thank you Dr Cleveland and team.

It was a great place to get prescriptions until the highers made the changes with tricare meds now everybody and their children have to come up here and now it is the slowest. Seriously, 25 people standing in line for meds 30 sitting waiting on meds or to get called up to turn in their prescription.

Womack has been hands down the best medical treatm...

Womack has been hands down the best medical treatment I've received while in the Army. This was a direct reflection of the unit to organizational level systems in place to facilitate administrative and treatment efficiency. My PA performed an outstanding job and was able to contact the Orthopedics clinic which immediately initiated a treatment chain within three weeks. I was beyond fortunate to receive an immediate consult based on my injury. Dr. Cleveland instantly impressed me not only with his extensive knowledge and background, but he voluntarily assumed a greater workload by seeing me in his off hours so he would not impact other patients. His amazing staff superbly manages his schedule and got me into surgery nearly a week later.

I've had surgeries at multiple installations in the Army and can legitimately say this was the best experience I've ever had. CPT Gisla, the anesthesiologist, flawlessly performed his duties to the point I had no issues once I woke up. Every nurse from pre-op to post op was exceptionally trained, compentent, and empathetic. Dr. Cleveland ensured I was updated every step of the way and physical therapy immediately gave me an initial plan with assistance. Nurses like Marcia and Abigail performed flawless pain management and displayed outstanding professional skills.

In the big picture, their efforts are greatly contributing to helping our unit maintain sustainable readiness and are getting me healthy again as quickly as possible so that we can meet future deployment requirements as a team. I am fortunate for getting the opportunity to serve in my unit at Fort Bragg because everyone, from my chain of command to the medical community, has genuinely cared about mission readiness as well as individual/collective sustainment. I sincerely thank everyone during this process and their efforts increase my confidence in a rapid recovery.

Don't waste your time. These are U.S. army P.A.'s that treat everything with over the counter drugs "motrin and water" and you'll probably get a tongue lashing from a Puerto Rican ex colonel. Do yourself a favor and pay the $100 and see a real physician or P.A. outside the gate.

Dr. Andrew Cleveland and nurse Cynthia Buckley (LPN) have been incredible! I had C6-C7 disc replacement with immediate positive results.
Dr. Cleveland thoroughly discussed all my options clearly, which helped me select replacement over fusion. The outcome exceeded the expectations he set.
Cynthia Buckley provides quick and thorough responses to my plethora of questions and requests (she s also my nurse with Dr. Grenier [my knee surgeon]).

Probably one of the worst Army medical centers I have been to, it is truly sad how poorly a lot of these providers treat patients! I have had so many bad experiences here from being misdiagnosed to nasty attitudes, I just spent the last 2 hours trying to get a simple question answered and I finally had to walk someone named Ashley in medical records through getting a solid answer for an immediate need! I seriously hope this place changes because our soldiers and families deserve better!

I just had a discectomy on my L5-S1 and the team was amazing. Doctor Cleveland was very informative and confident in his abilities, he even came to check on me several times after my procedure. I couldn't have asked for better circumstances. The staff were extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend asking for Doctor Cleveland and his team. I couldn't be any more satisfied and can't wait to get back to my old self.

I recently had back surgery at Womack Army Medical Center. The level of care I received was exceptional. Through the Patient Administration Unit, Pre-Op unit, and recovery I was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. All my questions were answered and concerns alleviated. Dr. Cleveland made sure I understood everything about the procedure and checked on me daily. A special shoutout goes to Team All American especially the three nurses who cared for me during my stay.

On 31July 2018 I underwent back surgery for an extreme herniated disc. The surgery was a success and I would like to say thank you to Dr. Andrew Cleveland, Mrs C Buckley, nurse Rachael, Mrs Allison Murray, the whole 2 North surgical crew (thanks Bruce for keeping it real), Dr. Edwards (beet root), and "the Major" (sorry Sir, i for got your name) from the anesthesiologist team. From the bottom of the Oliver Family's heart, thank you.

I came in for breathing problems and was sent to a room right away after being triaged. I sat in the room for 3 hours and nobody came in the whole time to check on me. I started feeling like I was going to pass out, so I tried to get up to get someone and I couldn t get to the door. I sent a brief text to my mother telling her what was going on, in case something happened. That s ridiculous.

Horrible. I have been to this ER quite a few times, unfortunately. Doctors and nurses are exceptionally and utterly rude, every single time. They exhibited bazaar behavior, horrible communication skills, uneducated, and they were not thorough at all. One time I was there from 11pm to 11am the next day just to be seen, while being a zone 1 patient. Then, while I finally got a room they forgot to assign a doctor and nurse to my room, how does that even happen? A few people from management came in to apologize for how unprofessional my experience was. But that did nothing for me, as it is the same thing every time. Altogether, beyond unacceptable, I am truly disgusted with this place. It breaks my heart how horrible our healthcare system & providers are.

As I sit in the hospital for almost 2 hours and so...

As I sit in the hospital for almost 2 hours and some change I was only seen for about 5 minutes. They have rushed me in and are now rushing me out without even caring about my situation. Just switched my meds around and are ready to send me on my way. Dr Daymadu told me that there was nothing he could do for me and said that he only sees real emergencies as if I m not in excruciating pain. And the RN Crystal just rushed talking to me and don t even think she really paid me any attention. Then when they leave the room I hear them say how this was a waste of their time as if they don t get paid regardless of how many pantients they see and as if my medical condition isn t an emergency. I am honestly fed up coming here and wish I could get treated like I would if were to go to a civilian hospital. Last time my oldest child was sick they diagnosed him by looking at him and nothing more. I had to look everything up my self to determine what it could be and help him. And then when I brought in my youngest son they said what it could possibly be but once ruled out they seemed to have given up say well must be a virus give plenty of fluids when I also then had to research to help him. This hospital has been the absolute worse through years and seems to get no better.

Had my first baby delivery at womack. Loved every moment of it. My stay and delivery were amazing. The nurses were very caring during my recovering period. I love going to womack...never had a major problem. The only thing I would suggest it docs having their office numbers because their nurses barely answer the calls and its hard to get in contact with ones primary doc. Other wise I am really appreciative of all the countless hours the staff put into taking care of its patients.

I wish I could rate this hospital a 0. Long story short I am a high risk pregnant soldier and have yet to be seen by an actual doctor which I need, and I am in my second trimester going into my 3rd week of it. Took me over 3 weeks for a nurse in take appointment, over 3 weeks for an ultrasound, over 2 weeks for a pregnancy physical which nothing was really done because the midwife said I need an actual MD that specializes in high risk pregnancy. I have to be seen between 16-20 weeks and they have absolutely no openings, and to make matters worse fetal medicine won't see me for another 4-5 weeks out from today. I can't even go off post without a col. giving me the referral. This is honestly the worst experience I have ever experienced.

On January 17, 2018 I underwent L5-S1 spinal fusion surgery through the orthopedic department at WAMC. Dr. Andrew Cleveland III was my surgeon for the operation. Dr. Cleveland executed his work in the most professional manner possible. He is a prime example of someone who has mastered their skill. Before, during, and after surgery, the care and concern provided was very outstanding. Dr. Cleveland thoroughly expressed his concern on a regular basis post-op and was extremely consistent in ensuring the short, mid, and long term recovery was going as planned. I am currently 8 months into recovery and I can not express how satisifed I am with the results. I am painless and can now begin to live a normal life again. I highly recommend Dr. Cleveland and his team to anyone requiring an orthopedic surgery such as this.

Surgery With Dr. Cleveland, Orthopedic Surgeon.

Surgery With Dr. Cleveland, Orthopedic Surgeon.
My experience with a disc replacement in my neck was excellent. While in Dr. Cleveland's care; I felt taken care of in a manner that should me a model for other surgeons to follow. I was shown the issues with my neck/spine and I was offered choices in what the best route would be for me to take. Throughout the assessment, pre-surgery, surgery, and follow-up exams, my care was the best I could ask for. I appreciate this type of health care and my recommendation to peers that have similar neck/spine issues will be to ask for Dr. Cleveland. Thank you to you and your staff for taking good care of me!

My daughter had a high fever and a severe ear ache. Waited over an hour just to be seen in triage, an hour later a nurse asked if we were still there. My daughter's fever broke while sitting in the waiting room and she determined that she can live with the pain for the night and be seen at an urgent care facility in the morning.

I have a patient of the Orthopedic Department three times now. Dr. Cleveland and his staff are very professional and make sure their patients are well taken care of. The OR staff and recovery room staff I would like to thank as they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. While staying two nights there the entire staff were very professional and courteous, all my needs were met and have nothing to complain about.

The ER receptionists are on the ball and very professional but after that it goes down hill fast and that's because of the sub par bottom of the barrel doctors I had to deal with about an infection in my finger.Instead of draining it like a real doctor he rubbed it and gave me some antibiotics and the follow-up doctor was just as bad with first sending in a student to treat me and a bunch of lousy excuses covering for his doctor buddy on the very lousy treatment on the first visit.BOTH of these so-called doctors need to take the next train leaving SOON!!!!!!!

After being seen by my PCP at Clark clinic for numbness in my arms and fingers (result of not keeping chin on chest during landing on an Airborne Operation). This resulted on a severe whiplash causing disk herniation between C4-5 which was later exposed by X-Rays and MRI that were scheduled right away. After reviewing my images my PCP immediately referred me to DR. Andrew W. Cleveland who contacted me within 24 hours and explained to me his findings and went over all recommended courses of actions for my condition. DR. Cleveland was very patient and thorough in his explanation of my condition which helped me make the best decision for my case. So the choice was to perform a C4-5 cervical disk arthroplasty. The appointments for the procedure was scheduled within a few days of identifying the condition which was GREAT since I haven t been able to sleep due to pain in my arms.
So, from the initial check in into my appointment for the surgery, to being informed in very detail by the anesthesiologist team, to the recovery team it was all so organized, smooth and friendly service that I had to come here and ensure they are all recognized for their great dedication and job well done! I m on 6th day of recovery and feeling 100% better than what I felt before surgery!

The usability and customer service of Womack is poor at best. I entered through the Reilly Rd entrance, unaware that it was not the main entrance and couldn t find any directional signs for the clinic I was looking for. Eventually I went back to the main desk and asked the front desk for a map but I was informed quite rudely that there wasn t one. I was given verbal directions and eventually found the clinic. The clinic s front desk person was rude, unhelpful and did not speak clearly. The nurses I saw were the redeeming part of the visit and I was able to get what I needed. I m hoping I ll have better experiences in the future.
