This is a very unique national park, where you can see live artistic performances, concerts and plays all summer long. They have a kid's theater in the woods, plus a larger adult venue. If you haven't seen Shakespeare in the woods, you're sincerely missing out!

I always enjoy Wolf Trap, though I do wish they had more/better handicapped parking. Asking someone who can only walk short distances with a cane to hike up the road to the entrance is ridiculous.

We love Wolf Trap. If we have lawn seats we show up about 2 hours before showtime to get in line for the best lawn seats, and then have a picnic on the lawn before the show starts. If we have House Seats, we still show up about 2 hours early but have a tailgating picnic in the parking lot. The park allows alcohol so we always bring a couple of bottles of wine. Loads of fun! If you haven't been to Wolf Trap, you really need to go!

Everyone from parking to janitors, the ticket scanner...from ushers to bartenders were refreshingly polite. Anyone who works there should pat themselves on the back.

Wolf trap is an amazing concert venue. Surrounded by trees and nature is is as beautiful as it is unique.

If you splurged and got assigned seats in the covered area do yourself a favor and picnic outside before entering. If you are on the fill get there before the gates open to make sure you will have a good seat/view. Picnic once you have staked your claim (bring a blanket).

Been to many concerts here and always have a blast. The fact that they allow you to bring your cooler is the icing on the proverbial cake. Beautiful atmosphere hidden in the caotic Northern VA makes it a find

We went to see Switchfoot here a few months ago. I loved every minute of it. The venue is breathtaking, and the scenery is so beautiful you forget you're in Nova. The sound and lighting and seating area are all great. You can also bring your own food and drinks into the park, which is so helpful!

The lobby closes at 10.00pm but the drive through is open till 1.00am on Friday and Saturday nights and till midnight on the other days.

my second fav live music venue. if youre not early, bring comfortable walking shoes. great sounds for an open venue. every single staffer goes out of their way to tend to your questions/needs. and they are all VOLUNTEERS.

Nice outdoor concert venue with a rustic, lodge feel. The rows of seats were angled and spaced well enough to provide a good view of the stage over the heads of other guests, at least in the Loge Section I was in. The box seats in front of us looked nice, so I'd be willing to pay a little extra for those next time. The open lawn seating was very crowded and uncovered (fortunately, it didn't rain) but for people on the lawns, they could bring their own chairs or blankets and coolers with drinks, which cuts down on costs, but likely requires an early arrival for the best viewing locations. The lawn areas way in back didn't look that appealing. If you're in assigned seating, you have to buy a Wolf Trap tumbler for drinks ($5 each, which you can bring back for other events), and beers were pricey for the amount you get in the cup ($10.50 each). Overall, despite the tumbler and beer prices, it was a great venue.

The open-air venue is refreshing and the shows are well done. The one downside is that the roads around it are not designed to handle the traffic in and out of each show. Expect to be sitting in traffic on your way out.

Although I haven't personally gone to see a show at Wolf Trap in ages, I really admire the location and the overall quality of the property. Very large parking lots, great for big shows (although this isn't to say that all of the spots don't fill up, I suppose sometimes it does happen), also good for driving lessons. Amidst a very urban community, it's nice to have a beautiful park area to go to from time to time.

Without a doubt my favorite outdoor music venue. Easy to get in and out of. Stress free tailgating and you can BYOB into the venue! You can keep it with you on the lawn or leave it on the outskirts if you have an assigned seating. Always recommend sticking around a spell after the show...it WILL make your exit infinitely easier.

Some weird federal grant money going to the Virginia home of power lobbyists. But they really do try to make it accessible, and tickets for really good shows are not that steep.
