Seeing the negative reviews of this awe-inspiring course has left me dumbfounded. Wolf Creek leaves even the most adventurous golfers with unforgettable views and challenges. If you plan to attend, remember that this place is unique and unlike anywhere else. The greens are amazing. April is a perfect time of year to visit for picture taking. I plan to be back very soon. It s easy to see why this is one of the premier golf destinations in the US and possibly the world. The staff is very friendly. They were willing to work with me and the receptionist was very kind and helpful.

Interesting, one of a kind layout. Would have preferred to have played when the grass had a better and healthier looking hue; the tactile conditions of the course appeared true, but the lack of overseed on fairways, greens and boxes made for below average visuals. Maybe next time -- but I'd drop the rating a star or so to have enjoyed a better visual experience to enhance the seemingly well above average layout.

The Good:

The Good:
1. This is the most uniquely designed golf course I've ever played
2. The golf course is much more forgiving than I anticipated so it's a course that most people can enjoy
3. The course staff was tremendous. They were very transparent about a frost delay and were able to give us an accurate estimate.

The Bad:
1. I hate to say this but the course was in worse condition than all the other 4 Mesquite courses I played. I would never pay $200+ again to play the course in this condition
2. Most of the course was dormant/dead, it seems all the other courses over seeded but Wolf Creek didn't. When you look south of the Wolf Creek grounds you see beautiful green fairways but they're not Wolf Creek...

I understand that the course won't be in prime condition at all times but you can't charge a $200+ rate when the course isn't in prime time shape when other courses are half that and in much better condition. I wish I would've taken others' advice to wait to play until it was in better condition. If you're heading out in March when the rack rate goes up, beware!

This place is beautiful! It was my first time golfing here and I loved it! The course is just breathtaking! As a female I played from the reds and I have to say it was still difficult bit so much fun! All of the staff is so friendly! I will definitely be coming back!

Not many words I can use to describe the views of this magnificent course. It was on my bucket list and it did not disappoint! Layout and Greens are spectacular.
However, there has to be something wrong. It will take 5-6 hours as course was back up for some reason. But it didn't take away the natural beauty of the course so plan your trip accordingly.

My group of 12 throughly enjoyed our Golf Trip to Mesquite. Wolf Creek was a great experience. Pick your tees smartly. Don t try to be a hero. While the look of the course is not perfectly green yet, the conditions to play off of are very good. The greens rolled true and fast at about a 10. 4 1/2 hour round with no pressure from the rangers. The pace was good. The $20 gift cards from the Pro Shop was a nice touch to show their appreciation. All the staff was top notch.

The Good:

The Good:
The course was amazing. Beautiful views and well kept. The waterfall on or near the last hole is amazing. It will definitely challenge you, but that's part of the fun.

The Bad:
The range didn't allow for drivers. I'm not sure if that's time related or just always the experience. In the rain, the cart paths are down right dangerous. My friend driving the cart was very cautious, but our brakes locked and we skid down and fell over.

The Ugly:
Some of the staff was horrible toward me. I had to go into the clubhouse 2 times. The first time, they made fun of my college (which felt a little mean spirited but nothing too bad). The second time they joked I couldn't use the bathroom because of my college. It just felt awkward, I expected more from the staff.

Unbelievable scenery. Not very forgiving if your shots aren't controlled. Definitely a course that should be on a golfers bucket list. Greens are lightning fast, 3 putted quite a few greens. Tee boxes could be a little more level. Few holes teeing off ball was either below or above your feet. A little pricey 230.00 but it's such a beautiful course would go back

Amazing experience at a bucket list course for sure. Wolf Creek did not disappoint. Incredible views from pretty much every tee box. Wild elevation changes and challenging layout. This course will make you think a lot more than you're used to. Course staff was very professional and helpful. Only criticism would be a slow pace of play (5 hour round but the course is so beautiful you kind of forget about it). Also beware there are limited restroom facilities or refreshment opportunities along the course (only 2 chances to go to the restroom or grab a beer). I will be returning and would highly recommend this course.
