When I first started it was a very fun and enjoyable place and I liked coming to work. After all the corporate changes it no longer became enjoyable. All the new rules made me feel like I was on lockdown. The work atmosphere changed considerably.

If you are refinancing your home and the mortgage company is using Valutrust for an appraisal. RUN!! They sent a very under qualified, rude appraiser who did not know the neighborhood or city because they came from 30 miles away and they arrived late. Do your research. After the fact I found out the appraiser has not sold a home in 7 years and they last hose they sold in our city was over 11 years ago. How can you expect them to give a fair appraisal? They undervalued our house by over $60k and refused to change it when I showed comps and pointed out their errors. This tanked our refi with our mortgage company as they were not willing to have
another appraisal done or correct the original appraisal.

One of the worst experiences:
- undervalued the property by at least $10,000 without any reason
- during full coronavirus lockdown their inspector showed up 45 minutes early, not wearing a mask or shoe-coverings or gloves, and entered the house without any respect for the family with small children having breakfast
- took 8 days to send a copy of the appraisal
- more expensive than other companies in the area
I would never, ever use again!

Recently refinanced, my mortgage company uses Valutrust and I was reviewing my paperwork. I paid Valutrust $465.00 for the appraisal and when the appraisal was done the charge was $275.00(from the appraiser) I called Valutrust and was told by a supervisor that sometimes that happens and I would not receive a refund for the difference. He also said that sometimes they make money and sometimes they lose on these appraisals!!!! I was shocked at his response and will look into this further. I have documentation to back this up. He was not interested!!
My appraiser was GREAT-it's Valutrust you can't trust!! The name sure does not fit their practices. MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR DOCUMENTS

Appraiser was was in a bad mood from the moment he walked in. Was at home for maybe 15 minutes, asked almost no questions and didn t even take his shoes off or ask if should. I have had several appraisals done and they all take about 3-4 days for the appraiser to put together comps and market analysis. He had his to me within a couple hours.. comps he used had a range of about 100k. And include a foreclosure and a home that backed the interstate.. I won t ever use this company again or any company that goes through them for appraisals

We had to use Valutrust because of our lender Mr. ******. Valutrust undervalued our house by close to 30k. The number they came up with didn t make sense at all based on the comps. This company is purposely undervaluing properties. An expensive waste of time.

I had an extremely terrible experience with the appraiser who has conducted our condo valuation. Also, I was threatened and treated poorly by the appraiser. More importantly, when compared to the most recent appraisal and appraisal conducted 2 years ago, the appraisal report is poorly written, .
I found so many mistakes he has made in his recent appraisal report (floorplan is wrong, number of floors are wrong, missing details of the facility room and so on)! Not recommending the rude appraiser and the quality of his work! People work so hard to have their own home, he came in doing careless valuation which leads to a $350k undervalued number compared to the other report I did two months ago! It's either the company is operating poorly or this company should fire the sloppy appraiser!

Trying to refinance mortgage through Mr. Cooper, they picked the appraisal company who appraised the house very low. The appraiser Drew Craig was very rude and was out of the house in less then 10min just snapping random pictures. As with other reviews I have read about this company, they tend to appraise homes low and use comps miles away from the home. Obviously Mr. Cooper mortgage and Valutrust are in cahoots to scheme property owners.

Very poor company. Wasted $625 on an appraisal that came in at 88k on a property valued by the county at 150k. Could not get financing on the property I was waiting for because of this appraisal. When I tried to contact them and ask questions about it, they were very rude an unwilling to help. Very unprofessional company and I strongly suggest you don t waste your money using this company. Worst experience I ve ever had in real estate.
