The best part of being with Whisper is paying almost $100 a month for less than a quarter of what we signed on for... was that sarcastic enough?

But seriously, We are paying 97 a month for 20 down and 4 up and on average we get less than 10 down and at best 1.5 up. Granted there is the rare day where we get a bit better but generally speaking it's complete garbage.

The worst service out there. I was told they wouldn't come out to get their own equipment that I have to bring it in or be charged for it. I'm already paying for internet that isn't working. Supervisor never called me back. They wanted to only credit my account $6.38 for half the month is was down, when I was charged 68.57 a month. Makes zero sense. Do NOT get service through them.

What a joke. I did not want the dish on my house so when I called to schedule install the lady on the phone pulled up a map of our property and told me to put the pole on the NE corner of the house. Guy comes out to install and come to find out we can't even hit any of the towers around the area from anywhere on the property. Now i have a 10ft 4x4 post concreted in the ground 5 foot off the NE corner of my house. Beware and make sure to get a survey (I didn't know about a survey before the service guy came out) before you think about doing business with Wisper.

Absolutely horrable! The only thing reliable about them is they are not reliable. Constant loss of connection they have changed every piece of equipment multiple times still the same old junky service. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

You can not play online with this internet. I get connection interrupted with every game and while my friends are not lagging at all with their great internet, I'm lagging so bad that you can't even enjoy the game. It also takes foreverrrr to download anything. It's very annoying and irritating that this is the only internet service that is provided in my area.

Wisper Wireless is terrible internet provider. My internet has been completely out for over a week and they are in no rush to provide support to fix it or even answer the phone or emails. It was 4 days after my internet went out that they even responded to a call. I work from home so it is crucial that I have a wifi connection during the week. They are sending me a new router, but didn t seem to be able to say if that would fix that problem. I ve been bouncing around cafes to get a wifi connection while waiting for the new router to come in that might fix this. Any other internet provider would have had this solved in under 24hrs. This is unacceptable.

When i called to see what plans they had to see if it'll fit my family's lives the sales guys told me a plan that would fit what i needed turns out it wasn't . I've not been able to access anything my kids and myself have to use hotspot just to do homework, husband not able to stream for his job, im not able to receive or send files for my work. Call backs took forever to return my call. I've tried to give whisper chance after chance but it isn't work.

Very consistent service. We have been with wisper for about 2 years now I believe. We have line of site equipment too. I work from home and pay for the 20MB package due to video conferencing and so on. There are days the speeds are ridiculously slow for what I pay for, but those are not the norm. Most of the time during the day, which is when I need it most, the speeds are fine. I love the fact there is no data limit. Every time I call in with an issue, they seem to always get back to me fast. I did upgrade to a much better router and since then, I haven't had any issues and almost no lag problems in the evening when bandwidth is limited due to users.

If I had any complaints, unless I missed it on my bill, I have never received any kind of statement credits for referrals. I got 4 people to come to wisper for service and all left Verizon for it. All are family and three are neighbors on the same road.

I would also like to have the speeds I pay for all the time, not just during the day when bandwidth isn't an issue.

UPDATE 1-26-21:
Wipser has been a reliable ISP up until the pandemic started and everyone started working from home. We started having intermitent issues with service last spring but just assumed it was because we were over loading our usage with all the zoom meetings while everyone was here at home. The issue seemed to have gotten better over the summer and then when school started again, the issues seemed to come back. Now that everyone is back in school and I am the only one home during the day, I work from home, the issues seem to still be here. Our speeds are about half of what we pay for, all the time. Over the Chrismas break, we had a major issue and they sent someone out. They realigned my radio reciever to get a better signal. Since then, our reliability has been okay, but not great. Speeds are still at about half of what we pay for. I have been told several times, Wisper has over sold the usage off the towers. Basically meaning, they can't deliver the speeds or data for the customers they have. Our internet went out yesterday about noon and I called with the hopes of getting a call back about it. I was tld they moved it up to a level two issue and got no call back. I ended up calling back later last night and was told they can't get out until Thursday afternoon. They have no idea what is going on since I am the only one having the issue. The radio isn't getting power or something. I understand things are busy and the company is growing, but telling customers who rely on internet to work that they are out of luck for 3-4 days is not customer service. I would like to see the system and towers upgraded to handle the amount of users they have.

15 mbs for 90 a month. How do you sleep at night. I bet more then half of the people who work there would ever use the stuff they are selling. In this day and age those speeds are outrageous. My AOL dial up when I was a kid was faster then this.

I've been a customer of Wisper for years. I'm to the point of canceling my services. I've put up with very slow internet service since the beginning. Its gone downhill the whole time. On top of that, I recently received an email stating they were going to raise my rates for the "improvements" they have done. I'm done.
I feel like its 199x and I'm on dial up. If something doesn't change immediately I'm going to switch to a different service. My internet service with Wisper is a major disappointment.

The worst internet service ever. They have technical issues all the time and the internet will be down for days and they won't even contact you when it happens! You literally have to call them and ASK them to credit you for all of the outages and they only want to credit you for the exact number of days it went out instead of thinking about the customer and crediting them for the inconvenience of no internet. The customer service is appalling- they never actually apologize for the inconvenience and even give you attitude when you call them. Unfortunately it is the only provider in our area- so if you have other options please choose those!!

I have this service paying 60 dollars a month for ...

I have this service paying 60 dollars a month for the (10 package)...recently trying to stream anything in the evening I'm getting 300-750 kbps speeds, I can't doing anything with that...very frustrating for the money I'm paying. Where they get you, is the line "Speeds up to"...then they can deliver you anything they want. I would settle for at least half of what I'm getting...but in this day in age of streaming it's almost impossible with this service.

I have only had Whisper for a short time but am very happy so for. The technician, Deon, was very courteous, friendly and quick to get things set up. My previous provider took two weeks to come out to fix my problem so that's when I decided to switch and being in a rural area, there aren't too many choices. My neighbors have been very satisfied, too.

We have had Wisper for over 5 years, and we love it! Rarely ever down, and zero problems with customer service or technical support. Their office staff are friendly and polite and I always have my questions answered. I highly recommend them!
