Small plates were great, large plates were lacking. Everything was expensive. Service from entry to exit was aloof, incompetent, or rude. Never a good sign when staff opens with 'here is what we don't have'. If not for the small plates, 1 star.

The food at wise acre is always delicious. On a nice day when its not to crowded and the windows are all open it is one of te best places to eat. It is important to note that farm to table food can be expensive. However quality that high is worth it.

Nice look and feel...menu seemed appealing, perhaps we were too late in the evening as food and staff were a little underwhelming...might try it again to see if it was just bad timing on our part.

Arrived on a Saturday at a little after 11 AM. A nice buzz going in the dining and we were seated right away. I had a simple scrambled egg, potatoes and sausage. It was all so delicious. Spuds were crisp, eggs were creamy and the sausage was packed with flavor. What a nice surprise to have a breakfast done so well.

Went for brunch with my wife. We loved the Royal Brie & Bacon Burger and the Kale Salad. The homemade soda and kombucha were both really tasty, as was the"Bellini of the moment". The service was decent, but not great. Loved the atmosphere and will go back in warmer weather to sit on the patio.

Atmosphere is adorable! I love the farm to table concept and ability to buy hand-rolled butter and fresh eggs to bring home. Breakfast sandwich I ordered was very tasty-loved the brioche bun, soft scrambled herby eggs, meaty ham, and delicious homemade dijionaise sauce. Soup is a normal side option, which is nice. They had turkey minestrone when I visited...I'm a soup person and wasn't a fan of this one. I found it bland and needed hours more simmer/meld time. Finished with the "L" iced coffee with maple syrup and cream: it was good, but not the best iced coffee I've had. Overall, I'm glad I went and had a good time, but wouldn't bother going again unless I was in the area and nice enough weather for patio seating (looked cute out there!)

This place is always a treat! I haven t been back in awhile since Covid, no In dining yet but they have to go as well as fresh veggies, syrups flowers, meats cheese and more ! How lucky are we to have access to a true farm to table who they source for their own farm in Minnesota! This place is the best!

Very good food and staff are nice. It is somewhat small place so in its high times it is rather diff to get a table but the wait isn t usually long. It is also a tad loud. Otherwise I definitely would recommend it for lunch!

5 stars is the only option for Wise Acre...they have taken extraordinary steps to deliver food, service and atmosphere. I can't say enough about the quality of the food. We had the weekend brunch, which is available from 9 am to 3 pm, and the pictures attached are of our two dishes: the Hash and "If You Must..." eggs and potatoes.

The restaurant is advertised as farm to table and they seem to take this seriously. Farm fresh fare, delivered daily and cooked to order. Amazing.

Do yourself a favor: get the cornbread and marmalade. And try the bacon. The thickest cut of bacon I've seen...delish...

If we lived here I would be visiting several times a week...if you are in the area...it's a must.

Delicious! The food was amazing, fresh and locally sourced. The cafe is cozy and inviting, the staff was helpful and friendly. I went with a friend around lunch time on Saturday and they were busy but our wait time was only 10-15 min. My friend has Celiac's and they don't have a designated gluten free fryer (so she couldn't have the French fries or fried potatoes) but there were still enough options to choose from that were still very enjoyable. They do make their own gluten free bread as well which is really nice. And seriously their bacon was amazing!!

One of my absolute favorite finds! Had brunch here with bubbly mimosas and delectable french toast. Also enjoyed a slab of bacon (this is Ron Swanson certified slab-o-bacon), egg scramble, corn bread and potatoes.

We had such a disappointing meal here. We love everything about the idea of Wise Acre but loved none of the execution. As a farm-to-table restaurant, we expected that there would be at least some vegetarian options on the menu and that those would be worthwhile. We were wrong.

The beet hummus plate was just plain bad. Served with radishes, raw broccoli, slices of raw yucca (I think, it tasted like a wood root), apples, and a baguette, it was bitter on bitter.

At 6:30 they were no longer offering one of the two vegetarian options on the menu so half of us got the black bean burger. The roll was stale. The black bean burger was a rock on the outside and barely warm on the inside I'm not sure how they managed that. We chose the honey carrots as a side; they were 5 soggy, lukewarm carrots. For $19. It was one of the worst sandwiches I have had.

I get that some chefs love cooking with meat. No worries. However, if you don't want to make vegetarian food, then please just don't offer it on your menu and vegetarians won't show up!!

The only thing warranting the 2 stars above was the homemade kombucha, which was excellent.

This is one of my favorite hidden gems in the city. I love knowing where the food on our table in in our kitchen comes from - and knowing the pride and care that goes into growing using sustainable methods. My very favorite product is the thick-cut bacon - it is the ONLY bacon I buy. I also love the Thanksgiving turkey share. I've relied on getting my turkey and assorted farm products for my table the past two Thanksgivings and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for it. I also appreciate the quality of the pantry items and can't wait for dine-in services to resume - as this cozy little spot is a great place to start my weekend. The team at Wise Acre are always friendly and helpful.

Every time I go here I have a great experience. The staff is great. The food is incredible. There s always a new signature cocktail. Just love this place. I can t say enough good things.

This is the type of breakfast you eat slow because eat bite is packed with flavor. You don't want to eat fast because those flavors will escape the plate and leave you wanting more. The coffee is good black and the kombucha is local and on tap.
The fires are crispy and go well with extra rhubarb ketchup.
That's the CSA scramble on the left, local vegetables from the local farm covered by scrambled eggs with herbs. Some country ham to add that carnivores delight.

I'd go there again and again with not a worry in my mind that there is something better in town because I figure their ain't when it comes to breakfast.

I decided to take my girlfriend to one of the restaurants participating in Restaurant Week. I chose WAE, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. All of the food was flavorful. In particular, the slab of bacon was steak-like (fork and knife material).
The rating is not 5 stars simply because everything is 20-30% too expensive.

Wow on food. Wow on beautiful day to sit outside (just ignore the planes overhead). Good service, even w a server bogged down by a table of 8 women that wanted individual bills after the fact... I'll be back!

In theory, this seems to have a great idea: a locally grown, 'mom and pop' type of restaurant. This indie idea is great, and I fully support it, however the Wise Acre seems to be riding this budding idea but lacking taste, service, and is over priced. The food was terrible, with no direction just over powered with salt and flavors that did not mix well together. The server was awkward, unfriendly, inattentive, and rude at times. Awful.

Absolutely love this place. I see their truck on the road quite frequently in the morning, driving from the farm in Plato to the restaurant in Tangletown. The tastes in their food are the proof of the benefits from fresh, locally grown, and harvested ingredients. It is just so much better than the typical dishes that most restaurants prepare. I hope they never quit!

Went here for restaurant week and enjoyed tasting a couple things on the menu. Very cute venue and vibe. Really quite small, including the parking lot. In February it was really cold and they couldn't control the temp inside well. The staff was friendly but not very attentive.

After leaving the Mall of America, we were looking for a farm to table restaurant in the area.
Wise Acre lived up to our expectations! And then some!!
Highland cattle farmed meat, everything they serve has been raised, farmed or locally grown.
The food was wonderful, a Foodie destination!
We enjoyed their house made / special chili and burger with fries, soooo good

Good food, but the portions were a little small for me. I would think it would be enough for the average person though. It is a little pricey, but it also is in the healthier side so that tends to be the norm for places like that. Great experience overall

Definitely not my cup of tea. The atmosphere is quaint and charming but the food was a little out there for me. While I appreciate farm to table concepts, there wasn't anything I liked about my food.

Overall very good. We had soup for starters, they were amazing! The potatoes and corn sharables were also amazing. The only disappointing part was the entrees. The braised beef and burger just didn't have the same level of flavor and just seemed a little bland.

Wanted to love it. Food was okay service and ambiance, not. It was 90 degrees outside and 120 degrees with a 75% humidity inside and apparently no A/C. West wall is a glass garage door so the sun beats in during the evening with the only eye protection being a shade made of what looked like mosquito netting. Diners packed in like sardines. Very uncomfortable!
Servers were friendly but too busy to pay attention without a lot of arm waving. To be fair it was as loud inside as a nightclub with their music system competing with the live band outside.
Like I said the food was okay but not worth the physical discomfort. Been there, can now check it off the list.

SO DELICIOUS. Came here for just appetizers, but ended up getting a full meal because everything was so damn delicious! Ethical, responsible food, locally sourced and prepared - I will be back for more!!!

This place is so quaint and cozy! I walked in and I knew I loved it. It's an old car repair shop with the big doors on wheels kept on and everything. They have a living wall and the coziest atmosphere. The food, yum! The food does not disappoint. The unique dishes are made and grown with stuff from their farm. They are owned by the nursery across the street, tangletown. This is the best idea ever! The have homemade ginger beer, sodas, and a fancy orange wine flight. people, a real must try! Not to mention the staff was super friendly. The menu is always changing so check it out in all seasons. Bomb place! Please go there! One of my go to's now. A feel good experience.

I have been coming here to Wise Acre Eatery for about 2 years now, I have always caught Breakfast and Brunch. Typically over the weekends is where I make my stop, especially on Sundays. Anyways, I have always wanted to take a date out to try the dinner menu. I have heard nothing but good things about it. I just work late throughout the week to actually make time for dinner. I stopped in last night, reservation wasn't required at the time. I was finally able to experience dinner at Wise Acre, I left speechless. I enjoyed the mood, the setting, real candle light magical moments (helps I brought my woman), and of course the atmosphere. My date, she agreed as well. Thanks everyone @ Wise Acre for an amazing experience each and every time.

The breakfast sandwich itself is only okay. For some bonkers reason they don't offer breakfast potatoes as a side option for the breakfast sandwich, yet offer fries? I asked if I could swap them instead, but our server said no. Then I saw someone get the breakfast sandwich with breakfast potatoes the very next table over. Was not happy.
