Love this place. Workers are knowledgeable on the Winnebago products. They even have tours to show how the R.Vs are assembled. A waiting lounge available allowing behaved pets. If you have to wait all day: bring comfort items. However, sight seeing a must.

We bought a new 2020 Forza 34T for nearly $200K and not even two months living into it discovered numerous problems. Broken AC, missing Firefly module, broken washing machine, awning about to fall off, mis-wired steps, non-sealed roof (numerous spots), and the list goes on and on; total of about 15 different big ticket items. We had a horrible experience with La Mesa RV (dealer & servicer we bought from), countless issues that we found and wanted fixed prior to delivery; they only would fix about half. So, we do not want to give them service or ever go back there. We contacted Winnebago to find out where else we could take it (next 4 closest authorized services won't accept appointments from us because we didn't buy there) and Winnebago basically said we need to just go back to La Mesa RV and live with bad service. We live in our RV full time and bought new so we wouldn't have to deal with these types of issues. We cannot drop it off for 2-3 months at a horrible dealership that does shoddy work. Winnebago should stand by their product and allow us to use a mobile mechanic for warranty repairs but they will not. We have plenty of pictures and documentation of very poor quality work. This RV industry is a scam.

Went here to have Winnebago do repair work on our Sightseer 35G. The staff and Tech here are super friendly and smart. Couldn't have a better Technician work on our Motorhome than Jeff. Kudos to all the staff and especially to Jeff.

Great place to work. It is awesome to know that I am part of something that is a part of someone's life. Wether they are renting for the weekend or buying for life. Every RV that heads out on the road I can say I was part of that. There is plant tours available for the general public. These tours allow you to see many parts of how the RVs are made. From start to finish Winnebago IND and all the employees work hard to make sure every RV that comes off the line is ready for what ever adventure you have planned.

We picked up a brand new 31 foot Minnie Winnie, which we delivered two weeks later at ApolloRV in Denver. There were many RVs to be delivered that day, but the Apollo people managed it in a quick and smooth manner. We went through the carriage and the various functions in half an hour, in total we were on the spot for just over an hour. One important thing they forgot to tell us was that it is important to rinse the fresh water tank thoroughly when it is brand new and unused, as well as making sure the water heater is filled with water before turning it on. Also, be aware that their insurance does not cover roof and bottom damage!

They seem to often be 5 years behind in technology. Yes, not the most innovative products. In my opinion, Winnebago builds to a strict price point. I would love to see them roll out RVs that are more aesthetic and technologically advanced. Nice people though?

Run don t walk to the nearest exit before purchasing a Winnebago! Purchased a 2020 Winnebago View 24D from Motor Sportsland in Salt Lake City UT. Cabinet doors falling off, tv mount broke, main coach door broke, water heater challenges, shower head broke and now a/c has gone out. Motor Sportsland has be bring it in last week and said it may be finished by Friday... After calling today (Monday) they are telling me that the roof unit is out and now they don t expect them to ship for another week....As if they didn t know that a week ago! We planned a trip for this weekend and would now have to go without a/c.

There is absolutely no service after the sale! Other dealers are over a month out. The service Coordonator at the dealership insinuated that she is dealing with a number of unsatisfied customers.

In my opinion, this is an indication of a business in the process of shutting down.

Winnebago quality is horrible, they tell you they said beyond the product but don't. Unit leaked from day one. No one will return your call, they loss your case number just to say they have no record of it and tell you it's your fault to avoid fixing it. Never have I had the problems I've had with any other brand.

WARNING Do not purchase any winnebago products from an employee there named Stephanie Studler. She is advertising things on Facebook and craigslist and Winnebago needs to be made aware where the products are going. The stuff is stolen so be aware. Winnebago is a good company this is not against them it is because of a employee who needs to be drug tested more often.

We have had NOTHING but problems with 2018 Forza 36G. Bought in 2019 new, left over. Dealership we purchased from in NC was absolutely the worst until we got to the top of organization but even they can't help with the inferior product that is Winnebago. Shame as we are stockholders. Customer Service is a JOKE. They have none. Everytime we take it in for warranty service it's gone for MONTHS and MONTHS. It is now time to hire a lawyer and investigate LEMON LAWS. Don't buy a Winnebago

I have owned 2 new Winnebago motor homes and both had problems the manufacturer would not address. The first was a New Class C Minni Winnie with only one ac on the roof. At an outdoor temperature of 95 degrees the best it would do was 82 degrees inside!! The new Class A Vista steers all over the road. Neither the dealership, Ford or Winnebago would address the issue. I guess the Ford Chassis warranty is worthless since they blame Winnebago. The Winnebago warranty is worthless as is the expensive extended warranty I purchased.
Buy another brand that stands behind their product.

We camped electric only for a couple nights free, got serviced and did the plant tour. Everyone was helpful and took care of our needs in a good time. Local places to eat were very good (Shooterz & Mitchell's) we highly recommend! There is a nice little diner for breakfast called Sally's too. It was worth the stop to see the plant and meet the people who created our rig!

I have a 2019 Winnebago ERA 170B. I have not been able to take a single trip without problems. The first trip i had excessive wheel vibration and loose items vibrations. Took it back to La Mesa Rv.. with 3 pages of complints

1 . Vibration

2. Fire alarm not mounted correctly

3. Rear propane connection problem

4. Stereo system problem

5. Rear panel covering comming off

6. Bath room light fell off in transit

7. Bathroom door problem

8. Forward electrical outlet had to be replaced

9. Tv mount coming off wall

10. The vehicle had to the cleaned and detailed. . LaMesa rv problem since it was not ready for delivery

LAMESA said i had to take it to the Mercedes dealer for the vibration. . I couldn't believe this on a new vehicle. . Mercedes said the problem was due to the increase weight and weight forced balance all wheels..

Im currently over 2 months waiting to take it back to La Mesa Rv. Since they claimed they are booked????,

My current problems are

1. The air conditioning is not comming on

2. The LED Lightning is not working

3. Only one speaker working on the radio

It want to look at this positive, but evertime i want to use it there is a problem. And i posted my problem on Winnebago site and i did not get a response.. I guess both customer service and quality is missing here

Quality I believe has been sacrificed for quantity. Worker morale is not good, management is poor as far as proper training and accountability for unfinished or poor work, overtime money is spent and people having to give up time on weekends with their families because units are coming off production line unfinished or poorly constructed. Everything seems to be focused on numbers and bonus money instead of a quality unit.

Wonderful place to buy r.v's, however the work experience here was/is horrible. They don't do enough for their employees. Upper Management is very demanding with little to no contributions of themselfs or their liked employees. Great place if u want a r.v but if you want to go somewhere in the company don't put your effort in I lost 5 years in this company and never got anywhere thanks to demands and business development problems.
