Windhoek Country Club & Casino Review

This was our base for our honeymoon and we spent three nights here - one when we first arrived in Namibia, one after we d visited Botswana and Zimbabwe, and one before we flew back home. They went above and beyond on our first night with a decorated bed, Le roux and a hamper. It was an amazing start to our honeymoon. Our second stay was less honeymoon-like as we were given a twin room! The third was better and we had double room as booked. We d recommend it as a base for travelling but we didn t actually explore Windhoek at all because we were there so briefly.

Great people, fantastic experience! would go back in a heart beat!

After a week of safari, my husband and I stayed there for 3 nights. We felt very comfortable. Great clean room. Everything is freshly cleaned every day. TV works great, only in English. You can relax well in the room. The breakfast is everything your heart desires. Even oysters if you like them. Dinner is a buffet again. Costs about 35 for two. Is really great, among other things, cook what you want fresh in front of your eyes.
It's also nice to relax outside. Cocktails around 4.50 and pool snacks are also not expensive. The pool is very refreshing because it is not heated.
There is a huge golf area next door. We tried it out for an hour with a golf instructor for 20. It was really fun.
So the hotel is definitely to be recommended. A free shuttle to and from the city is also included every two hours. Very practical.

Good place were u find all facilities in one place is historic place where first and only Namibian miss Universe took placed it has also hosted MJ Micheal Jackson

A lovely warm place to be as a couple or with family. The food is diverse and good...I loved the buffet The service is good and staff very pleasant. The pool is clean and outdoor area is refreshing.

Absolutely disappointed! An hour to check in, room lock not working and had to change rooms and WiFi not working, no breakfast pack as ordered and no shuttle as arranged, to staff with bad attitude and lack of service. Just very disappointing considering the price... I hope for the Hotel's sake that this is an exception!

The resort is okay, but very far from the airport. Staff is average, I would expect them to be more well spoken being a resort, as they sometimes could come off as rude. The food is pretty good, especially the room service. The room was quite comfortable, but I found a live cockroach in my room at night and the staff were not equipped to hand me an insect spray. Being a resort with a lot of greenery, I expected them to be ready for emergencies like insects and bugs. The wifi is terrible even when it shows full strength. I would recommend this resort if you are visiting to connect with nature, as you will find very few distractions.

Have been there for the Namibian Budget review session. Breakfast was served together with the sessions. Everything was good, food was really nice with a wide selection to meet any diet preference. Waiter service throughout the sessions was also good. Can recommend the venue for any corporate function.

One of the more upmarket places in Windhoek compared to the rest of the town

This hotel is very centrally located in Windhoek and is suitable for businessman and holiday makers alike. Good for families. It has a golf course and a casino too. Staff are generally friendly. Rooms are spacious and generally well kept although I have found some long hairs in the bathroom on occasion which is a bit disconcerting. Food in the main restaurant is pretty good and the buffets are plentiful. 7/10. The Chinese restaurant above the casino is weak. Friendliness seems optional, smiling by the host or waiters seems forbidden and the food is only acceptable. 5/10. All in all its a good hotel to choose

Wow I Must say it was a great time,We Went for a day Visit for Swimming,Staff are Well Dressed and Friendly,Toilets/restrooms are clean and Looked after The only Thing they have to work on Is Shade They must look to it that Shade functions well by the pool side. The Food was Nice,For the Few hours i Spent there i felt safe and well looked after cant wait for a sleep in.

Good food, rooms can be very far. Make sure you request for rooms near the lobby. Rooms are clean and toilet and bath are spacious.

I went with my family for a day visit today, Christmas day. The pool was beautiful. Food was good. We enjoyed the three hours.

Had a great time with my daughter at the Chinese restaurant.

The food buffet is excellent! The hotel is very nice and confortable. We always stay here when we pass by Windhoek.

Great starting point for a great trip near the highway and Airport

Very nice hotel in a good location to Windhoek and the airport, well equipped, modern rooms, great bathroom, well-kept gardens with pool, good service and delicious breakfast / food, casino and shops in the hotel available, reception helps with the booking of excursions such as game drives , free parking in front of the door

Very nice resort. Good breakfeast and beer. Ideal to relaxe.

The golf was good but the fact that a laptop and tablet was stolen out of the vehicle proved that there was no care about me as a golfer, and customer.. a nonchalant attitude following the incident with No feedback on the potential footage on camera two weeks later confirmed it.
I won't be back...
