Recently moved to town and happened upon Windfall. What a fabulous surprise that reminds me of a time when independents could flourish as an alternative to the "Super" stores. Having grown up in a family grocery business that became Shaw's, it is awesome to see a place like Windfall exist. Bravo!!

Check the dates before you buy. I almost purchased bulkies that were at that point a week old. I had asked the woman at the bakery if they had any fresh ones, and she said the ones that I had still had a few days left. Needless to say I put these rock hard items back.
I did purchase a couple single wrapped cookies--should have checked the dates. These were also over a week old. Threw them out.

The bakery is always a pleaser, today,my husband's 70th during a pandemic was no different. His carrot cake with cream cheese frosting was a smash! Not overly sweet, just the right amount of sweet and raisins..

My favorite Falmouth provisions supply. Good choice of local farm produce and typical groceries. Nice meats and fish, and enticing bakery items made on-site. I love the easy parking, and have never found this store to be overly crowded.

The prepared food is out of this world. Everything is delicious, the chef bonnie is 5 stars all the way. And the grocery department has great foods that you can not buy at your local grocery store. The meat department literally has the best top grade meat you can find in town..

Fresh baked bread. Excellent produce. Butchers who will accomodate requests for specific cuts. Great wine selection. Awesome staff at the deli counter.

You'll pay a premium to shop here but it's worth it. Best one-stop-shop in Falmouth.

One of the best independant food markets in the Cape Cod. The bakery is excellant with many varieties to choose from. The best assortment of cut flowers and plants grown by local folks. If you have a grocery item you can no longer find ask or bring an example in and they will try to order it for you. Real customer service and individual attention are the standard here.

This store is truly a gem. It's clean, well organized, and they have a fabulous staff. Just this morning, I needed some pastries for a work event, but was hoping to have them individually wrapped. I called with only an hour notice, fully expecting a no. But Jennifer was so kind on the phone, and Molly got the pastries ready, and they were delicious! Their prepared food are really good too.

Oh, did I mention they have been sponsoring the Falmouth Public Library's summer reading program? I've been here 19 years, and they were doing this already, so I don't know exactly how long,. But encouraging kids to read? That's why this store is really an asset to our community!

This is the most wonderful market , and everything is great quality...the produce, meats, prepared foods and the bakery is better than any stand alone bakery...There are friendly folks happy to help, everything is human scale not big box, and yet has everything you would want to find in a grocery store. Please don't let it become another chain store including aWhole Foods ,which is much more expensive and no better quality.. Some prices are a little higher for the quality, but they also have staples in a house brand which are just as good as the chain store prices.

Try it and you will be hooked!.

A+ for customer service and quality from the Bakery! We ended up bringing back a cake to have the top redecorated by our own request, and the staff members were so helpful to make the changes immediately and without any hassle. We were very impressed with our experience with Windfall and would definitely recommend for future cakes/pastries. Thank you!

Butcher is top notch, ask for a center cut beef tenderloin and get a center cut beef tenderloin, cleanly cut, wrapped correctly, and happy to do it. That's 3 out of 3 for one of the hardest cuts to find around here (without the butcher either looking at you like you have seven heads or them trying to sneak in an off-cut with double fat to save a few bucks). Meats expensive as it is, might as well be able to get EXACTLY what you want. Do everyone eating a favor and go to Windfall for your local herbs and choice cuts.

Beautiful market and I found almost everything I was looking for. The cashier that attended us was rude and offered terrible customer service, I think her name was Cassidy. We asked her about a product and she just looked at us without responding, and she didn t offer to help unload the 3 products we had on the basket.

Windfall Market,me personally thinkers a small grocery store, they have a lot to choose from,they have a deli,flower dept, bakery dept,well stocked and a very clean place,on a scale 1-10 I would say 6,for prices, over all,it's a nice store (I give it a 4 )

The best grocery store in town for cheese, meats, produce and specialty items. Great kettle popped corn, the best tasting chicken (SMART Chicken), excellent beef and veal, Coonamessett Farm greens, Kalaloo when in season, local farms fruit and veggies in the summer, lobster ravioli, and Ploughgate Creamery Butter - expensive at $17.99 lb. but oh so worth it! Bury some of that in a baked potato or smear on warm ravioli!!

Above all, it's quality.

Above all, it's quality.
So before you start complaining about prices, be aware they excell in quality meats, fresh bakery stuff.
Stop using the "Walmart mentality" to compare everything.

That being said, the deli sandwiches are a great grab & go stop on my bike ride to woods hole.

Local market in a less crowded area idea for boaters & people who appreciate an extra dolar or two for fresh stuff.

Liking the new outdoor ice cream window & seating area.

Eh.

We bought our daughter's Birthday cake here and it was fantastic! The bakery was able to create the most perfect custom cake with only 48 hrs notice and lack of creative direction from myself ("kid beach themed"). It was also absolutely delicious and cost less than a standard, buy the day of cake at most other supermarkets. We will be getting all our event cakes here from now on!

Nice

Pleasant atmosphere and staff go a long way turning a chore into an afternoon adventure.Always interesting new products and fresh produce and delicious homemade food in sensible portions reasonably priced. Fast courteous service. Worth the trip!

Excellent for their produce always fresh. During the summer months their produce comes from local farmers..you couldn't ask for fresher than that. The bakery and deli are just as amazing. If you like real Portuguese bread and sweet bread they also have that..it's delivered in from New Bedford. They also sell Beer & Wine.
This grocery store is quite pricey but you get great quality food.

Older female, possibly the manager is really unpleasant. I got barked at for returning bread with hair in it (not a hair, a few) and recently was chastised for being in the express lane which says '15 and under' when I had 14 items. I don't understand why you'd want to work with people if you can't stand them.
