Amazing spa. Dominique was fantastic. Had drinks at Harvey's bar and it was lovely. Gave us special treats for my moms birthday

Overlooking the South Atlantic Ocean, this elegant hotel in a Cape Dutch mansion is 5 km from Two Oceans Aquarium, 7 km from Lion's Head mountain and 10 km from the Castle of Good Hope.

Beautiful in the courtyard....cool on a very hot day......high tea was wonderful and not over priced....staff helpful.

Hotel is tired. Staff great. Irradiated "honey" why they don't buy HONEY beats me. Irritated "honey" is not honey at all.

This is the best hotel in Cape Town! Amazing service, very well trained staff. Rooms are beautifully furnished, the bar area is classy and the meals are spectacular!

Brunch on a Sunday with live jazz, good food and bubbles

Had an absolutely fantastic food and wine pairing evening. Food was amazing!

It's a beautiful spot as a hotel so don't hesitate. Great location on the main bus routes. Don't miss the Sunday brunch which includes a fabulous jazz band. Well worth the money and time.

Service very poor. Friendly staff, though, but just take too long to attend to guests. Food good. And view outside, makes up for any lack of service, I suppose.

Service is very slow and bad at the restaurant. Every few minutes there is dishes falling and breaking or a waiter dropping cutlery. Servi e is very very slow, even when they not busy.

Friendly staff, superb customer service, a beautiful beachfront setting and an extremely comfortable stay. I could not reccomend the Winchester Mansions more.

Perfect setting for a summer's evening in Cape Town!

I always wanted to visit the Winchester Mansions and finally got to go when I attended a Poetry Stores event. We were in the courtyard and it was Amazing. Check out their website for Awesome high teas and sun downers etc.

Absolutely first class place to eat, socialise, hold business meetings, use as your base for a visit to Cape Town. Beware though, Cape Towners live this place too, so book early!!!.

We were there for high tea and it was great. Good value for money and the courtyard makes you feel like you're in Europe somewhere.

Lovely building and clean but 'Service' not so good - you will have to wait to be served unless you go and hunt down a waiter even though there are enough of them loitering and unfortunately the same will probably happen when you want to pay and leave and attitude of overweight head waiter or whatever he is - needs to get off his pedistal and learn that he's there to assist the customers

Good vibe and surroundings. Parking a challenge at times

Good city hotel, just across the street from the wide beach. Very nice courtyard, where the rich and tasty breakfast is served. In the evening here is the restaurant operation. There's also a bar with a street-side terrace for chilling out. Quiet pool for relaxing. Parking in a closed yard possible. Until stop directly in front of the hotel. An ideal base to explore Cape Town.

The rooms smell musty and the whole hotel needs complete renovation

The very relaxed atmosphere of The Winchester is incredibly soothing. The staff's impeccable, the art by Arthur Brigg fresh and inspiring and the food fantastic.

A little slice of old town by the sea. I have never had the privilege of staying in the Winchester mansions but I have frequented the bar many times. The atmosphere is amazing. Modern. And laid back. It is the perfect place to stop by for a drink when you are in the area. The bar food is incredible.bit brings fine dining right to the bar. Friendly staff and heart warming welcome.

Rather mediocer. Service poor. Was my 70th birthday booked well in advance.

Wonderful cool & colourful courtyard for a drink during a hot day or a great fair-priced brunch too .

Also has a lekka pool to use if you are a guest

During winter they have a mean mukked wine

We normally love the Winchester Mansions but this morning's service was terrible. We are going to write about the quality of the service to the management.

Right on the beach front in Sea Point, Winchester Mansions is an institution. Take coffee or cocktails on the sea facing terrace, or in the courtyard. Lunch or dinner in the dining room. Good food, elegant decor and attentive staff.....lovely!

Beautiful view of the beach, beautiful old building! Our waiter was lovely, great service. Lovely menu. Lovely drink selection. Manager very jacked up, smart looking, making sure no people on the street bother you and there to assist you. Overall lovely experience.

Harveys at The Mansions serves one of the tastiest breakfasts in Cape Town. Having a table next to the fountain make the experience more exotic and romantic. It is easily at the top of my list.
The hotel is currently being renovated, I hope that they will reopen soon!

Excellent Breakfast. If you enjoy buffet breakfast. They are spot on. Staff excellent. Our favourite breakfast spot to relax for a few hours.

Lovely, stylish and beautiful. Be it the bougainvillea creeping up the courtyard or the friendly staff and amazing restaurant and bar. Will recommend to all.

It's a beautiful place to be they have a good communication skills and good customer care .you everything including accommodation and food
