UNDISCLOSED ACCIDENT-DAMAGED CARS – DO NOT TRUST THEM!
We bought a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport from Willow Crest Motors in good faith, needing a safe, reliable vehicle for our growing family and newborn child. What we received instead was a nightmare.
Confirmed Damage
We have independent reports from the AA and Mitsubishi South Africa confirming:
• Chassis damage
• Engine mounting replacements
• Torn seatbelt
• Deployed airbag
• Overspray and crumpled fenders hidden under rushed paintwork
• Turbo damage
• Entire left side of the vehicle has been replaced

The dealership knew our situation — that we needed a bigger, safer car for our baby — yet still sold us a structurally unsafe vehicle with serious undisclosed accident damage.
We only discovered the truth when the aircon failed on Day 1. After multiple failed repair attempts and seeing our car stripped on their dealership floor, we noticed overspray, dented panels, and signs of a major accident. That’s when we demanded answers and got the truth.
We have also since had further issues with the car besides the accident damage. They have attempted to repair the aircon 4 times and can’t get a simple task right. The vehicles turbo boost isn’t mounted. They installed a faulty seatbelt replacement. The vehicles driver window has stopped working. The car blows huge amounts of black smoke. The reverse sensor doesn’t work. The headlight washers don’t work. The Radio turns on and off, the interior lights flash on and off. There is a problem with the gearbox. The list goes on.
The owner, Mark, is arrogant, dismissive, and refused to reverse the deal even after just 3 days. He is supposed to be representing this company. it’s an absolute joke. Him and his business have No accountability. No ethics and should be shut down.
Sadly, we are not alone. Just read the many reviews online — this is a pattern of behaviour. They hide behind legal grey areas while families suffer the consequences. You see a trend they always state its just cosmetic damage. But that’s far from the truth and we have evidence.
We are pursuing legal action and have reported them to the Motor Industry Ombudsman.( we are now 5 months in with no response) We also reported them to WESBANK who is absolutely no help and cannot legally Force a deal reversal even with evidence of illegal work. But beware they work together, and this business will push you to use WesBank so they get there kick back. The CEO of WESBANK does not respond either. Dealing with dishonest businesses is against WesBank’s code of conduct.
Do not Purchase a vehicle form this business you will be stuck for months following legal action. And they know it, they think they can continuously get away with it.
We urge anyone who has this issue with them to stand up and report them. We will be acting in the public eye to shed a light on this dishonest dealership. They cannot keep getting away with this.

Honest and good people. Lil bit chaotic because they so busy. But they buy yiur car for a fair price. And they sell their cars for a fair price. Theres no funny business from ky experience and Carl the gentleman I delt with does his absolute best to serve your needs. He's not just a salesman. He's a sales person. The difference is a salesman just wants to sell. A salesperson understands that when he helps you get what you want. In turn he will get what he wants. He focuses on you as the customer. So well done Carl. And well done willow crest. I'm super impressed by you guys.

In search of our 7 seater we found a vehicle at Willowcrest. We decided to purchase the vehicle and have it delivered to CPT.

The vehicle would not start. Shaun made all the necessary arrangements from JHB - from diagnosing, to ordering a new part and getting it installed, while keeping us informed at all times.

I arrived there a few minutes before closing time and even though everything was closed up already, the manager and his team bent over backwards to assist with the test drive. Loved the car I was interested in and they really have a wide variety of cars. Unfortunately financing team took a bit too long to my liking to get the deal through, but all and all they are a good team and have good cars.

I bought a car and they lied about it and I had to get the deal uplifted a month after I had bought the car and they still owe me my R10 000 deposit, these are a bunch of crooks. They sell accident cars and even their mechanics at the workshop will advice you not to buy cars from them.

Disgusting service from Dwayne. He keeps making promises but never delivers. Absolutely rude. When you have a problem with the vehicle he ask you to go check the water level as if you are a mechanic. Stay away, the point check that was promised is definitely not done correctly. Disc now expired but trying to get the new one is a roller coaster ride. Why so much lies it should be a professional transaction but trust me they haven't a clue what professional is, after the car is sold, in other words after sales service stinks.

Bought a vehicle from them and, stupid me, didn't notice, on pick up, that the odometer reading was way different from what it originally was. They then wanted me to pay for it to go to Pretoria and be "amended". Not impressed with that at all. Oh and I'm still waiting for the log book, etc.

Shocking experience. Purchased a FIAT 500x auto which was delivered to CT. Agreed with the sale was the AA Dekra (which is advertised on their website), a service (as the service was due in a month's time), ensure that the car was not an ex-smokers vehicle, car would be valed before delivery, no scratches etc. Car arrived at depot and besides the scratches from the carrier company, there were many little scratches, the AA Dekra was not done on the vehicle (to which I was later informed I would have to do it in CT) and the" service due" notification was active. I had the car checked at a reputable service dealer and in fact the service had not been done (brake pads at 15%, old oil, dirty air filter and leaking radiator bottle with fluid leaking on the plugs). They had however, still stamped the service book. (dishonest). The back seat was completely loose and out of it's brackets. The vehicle was filthy inside - dirty carpets, old food and gum inside the panels and reeking of old smoke which I could not get out. I was told to fumigate the car (at my expense) which of course did not help. I had the car valet which also did not rid the smell. After searching my CPA rights, it was agreed the car could be sent back, BUT at my expense. Mark, the owner and Neil the manager is non existent in replying to any correspondence which is absolutely shocking. I could've taken this matter further and got every cent back that I was entitled to , but in the end dealing with these dishonest sharks, felt it best just to get the car back to them at my expense ,with a full tank of petrol and try put this experience behind me. I am out of pocket after their dishonesty and all the promises that this was a FANTASTIC car. It is not roadworthy and a safety hazard and btw I see it is being advertised on their floor again. Fiat 500x auto Beige with double sunroof. BE CAREFUL!

Thank you to all involved in fixing my car that broke down. Even though it was over the warranty kilometers Willow Crest Motors resolved the problem.

I took my car there for repairs since I bought it...

I took my car there for repairs since I bought it from them... for a minor engine problem, they decided to replace the whole engine with even a more useless engine! I had to wait for them for almost after almost 6 months! They charged me R32 000+! The mechanics are like some people from the streets! Even people who work there will advise you not to buy there!

When I went to collect my car, the battery was dead, the car was not even cleaned. It had dust all over! Once you pay them... that's the end of customer service!

I know my experience might not be someone's experience, but I would not dare recommend my best friend to buy there! And their service is really pathetic!
