bad company, not real. My son was approached at park meadows mall, Colorado, and we followed through with their scam. They wanted $500 up front, us to purchase their clothes and an additional $500 to book 1st gig. The 1st gig has never happened. SCAM, do not buy in....we are out $$$$ and he is bummed.
Wilhelmina Denver is wonderful for those actor/model's that have a traditional "9-5" job. I have worked with them since right after they opened their Denver office and have never experienced anything but honesty and professionalism. All of the women there have all been so easy to work with. Any stylist, make-up artist or photographers I have met through my affiliation with Wilhelmina have also been nothing but a pleasure. Even though based on my "day job", I have many times not had time for an audition or shoot, but have NEVER felt pressure or push-back from anyone for my lack of availability. On any audition, shoot or casting I have always gotten great feedback about the client's dealings with Wilhelmina and am so proud to be represented by them.
Im not sure why all the negative reviews for not getting work, but models and parents of models need to realize that Wilhelmina and their employees can only do so much as far as promoting and putting you out there, but if a client doesn't want to use the model for a particular reason or if they do not like the look of a model, it is out of anyones hands and an agency should not be blamed. I know plenty of models who get consistent work & are successful because they work hard for it and they happen to have the look the client is seeking for the job.
My son is signed with Wilhelmina Denver and we love the team and agency so much! Super communicative and very kind and supportive to young talent.
Will someone please report this company to the BBB? Why are they even in business? These idiots will be found out and shut DOWN. Toying with people's dreams is just mean.

Been an actor for many years and I am so pleased to have the kind support and guidance from Cassie and the team. I have very much enjoyed being represented by Wilhelmina Denver.
They emailed me on April 1st saying I could attend an open call on one of the days monday-Thursday from 3-5 pm. We drove 2 hours to Denver to their building to attend and the women at the door tells us they changed it back in March and they are now only hosting open calls on Monday and that they "just don't have the time" to meet with us. This means that we were misinformed by one of their workers, if they changed it back in march why did the person who emailed me tell me Monday-Thursday was fine IN April. Now they are open for only two hours on one day of the week. I checked the website multiple times before driving two hours to Denver and it said monday-Thursday. Extremely unproffessional
Leaving this review because after working with another agency I can guarantee you that even in the first few times dealing with wilhelmina have been FAR better than they have been with the other agency.
This is a terrible agency. They claim to be "inclusive" but then directly insult women who are too "edgy" when in reality they are too beautiful! Mine and my friends experiences there were awful, and included babies pissing on the floor in the waiting room, an inexperienced, zitty (I am talking white heads all over his face) front desk 12 year old boy, and a rude, awful woman interviewer who was extremely judgmental, negative, and insulting.This is such a scam, they require up-front payments and want people to alter themselves before even getting any offers or opportunities. I found out afterwards that a friend of mine that was signed with them wasted a bunch of money to never gets any gigs. I would recommend this company be shut down, do NOT waste your time with them! Yikes.
Kids, teens and adults all make a good fit at Wilhelmina Denver and if your new to the industry or experienced I m sure you have seen or heard there name. Feedback l, communication and constructive criticism are great. I have been signed with them since January went to an open call and was offered a contracts a couple days later the expectations I had for them were somewhat high and they have not let me down. Anyone looking to break in this industry or switch over should definitely look into them first
I didn t get signed but I m not sad, I took this as a learning experience and I know that soon better things will come for me :)

I have been modeling all over the world for the last 6 years and have been signed with over 20 different agencies. I recently moved to Denver to settle down with my girlfriend two years ago and signed with Wilhelmina Denver. I have never for a second regretted it. All the ladies here are honest, hardworking, and really care for their models (especially the young/new-to-the-modeling-thing girls - that really need to be looked out for in a typically tough/exploitative industry like this one. While I certainly respect all views/opinions of others, typically most of the negative reviews you'll find on Yelp about ANY modeling agency (just go look at any in LA or NY - or don't and just trust me) are simply those who were not signed by the agency (harsh, but true). Anyways, I'll end with this, if in the future I have a daughter or son who would like to get into the industry, I wouldn't hesitate to send them to see Wilhelmina.
As a client, an agency with a built in production studio is a GAME CHANGER ! What a difference Wilhelmina Denver has made in Colorado!!

I have been very pleased with the communication and the professionalism that Wilhelmina Denver has shown. I signed up with them last year after several people told me I should look into modeling. My expectations weren t great, but what the agency has done for me has seemed to do the trick. I ve gotten several fun modeling jobs and am expecting more calls any day now.

Cassie & Katie work around my schedule as much as they can so that the kids don't have to miss school for auditions and they are very responsive to my emails, usually responding within a few minutes. I am very happy with their representation and I highly recommend them if you are looking for acting or modeling opportunities for your family.
Love this agency!! My daughter signed with them a year ago and the experience has been nothing but extremely positive. Cassie and Katie are very responsive and communicative. These girls do a great job and work closely with us the entire time which I really appreciate. I called several agencies in LA to double check their reputation and contract before signing her, and heard great things and they have best practices. Denver is a small market in general, but they send her out on many auditions. I look forward to continuing with them and love the relationship we have built.

We are very appreciative for the team s honesty and transparency in terms of expectations. As parents we never really thought of this for our son but when he began acting and really took to it, we decided to give representation a shot. We allowed our thoughts to run wild thinking this would completely change his life but the team quickly explained that in Colorado it doesn't. He has gotten a nice amount of castings, self-tape requests and booked a few jobs. This has been wonderful for him and has really allowed us to learn about the industry slowly and not be thrown in without a life vest. We appreciate the team being patient with us and making sure we felt comfortable and informed on all aspects of the process!

I was very hesitant to allow my teenage daughter into this world, even after she begged and begged and was scouted numerous times. I couldn t be happier we chose Wilhelmina Denver! She has a network of women that are great role models but also incredibly caring and relatable to a teenager. My daughter looks up to them so much. She has learned so much more than just modeling here, not to mention has developed incredible friendships with the other models at the agency.
I have been working as a model for 2 years with Wilhelmina Denver. They have sent me on numerous castings and never force me to take a project I wasn t comfortable doing or pressured me if I was not available for a job due to my work schedule. The past two years I have learned that this treatment is rare and isn t the case at other agencies in town. I love my agency and am so happy I signed with them over other options!
RUDE. Poor customer service. A lot of places like this have a mentality that they are doing you a favor by talking to you. And I understand, that getting a modeling contract can be quite the opportunity. We brought our toddler daughter into their open hours review, and my husband was treated very poorly by them. There was a dog in the lobby that my daughter was very excited to see, and when my husband stood up to walk over to the dog, they rudely told him he needed to have a seat. And continued to say "have a seat sir!! " as if he was a child. Once it was his turn, they were very abrupt with my daughter. She cried for a few seconds when my husband stood her up to take the photograph, and they told him to go ahead and pick her up and rushed him through the process. They treated her as if she was a rotten brat, when she just cried briefly because she was confused about what was going on. Anyway, I'm sure they think that we are beneath them, but truth be told, she was offered two contracts this week alone, so they can snub us all they want. We don't want to work for people like that anyway.
I signed with Wilhelmina Denver almost 3 years ago and couldn't be happier! Before signing with them, they went over everything and what to expect getting into the industry. Prior to signing with Wilhelmina, I signed with another agency and received no communication and worst off, no work at all. The communication that I get from Katie and Cassie and the rest of the team is amazing. I know what to expect before going to a casting so that I can be prepared. This industry can be tough and I appreciate all the work the ladies do behind the scenes so that I can succeed. I don't think a lot of people understand the amount of work and how organized the agency needs to be in order for them and the talent to be successful. I would recommend Wilhelmina Denver to everyone!
