I called not knowing what to expect.

I called not knowing what to expect.
A baby squirrel had fallen from the nest, and over a period of 12 hours did not come back.
My wife Janet told me that there's a rescue on Holmes Beach.
I called and to my surprise they already had 20 some squirrels under their care, they are equipped with incubator's.
They pretty much take care of every animal.
Also they are fully funded through contributions.
So if you take something in to them when you get home go on-line and leave a little something for the animals.

They were willing to drive 20-30 miles to help us rescue a common little bird by the side of the road that thought he was ready to fly but wasn't. The center was a well run operation out of their personal home. They have rescued any wildlife for 35 years simply out of the goodness of their hearts. God bless your very
kind hearts

I rescued a tiny Duckling because its mommy and siblings left. Adult ducks were attacking this duckling so I took this baby to the greatest Wildlife Center which immediately took its weight and placed into an incubator! Thank you Gail and Ed for helping my favorite things in this world!

Awesome people. Very nice and knowledgeable. We found baby ducks and could not locate the parents. So we took them to this rescue and they will be well taken care of. The guy showed us around and we got to see all kinds of wildlife. A great place!

Googled "waterfowl bird rescue Manatee county", finding listing the Wildlife Education Rehabilitation Center. I had witnessed a large waterfowl seemingly trapped in our condominium complex's fenced tennis court. Appeared to have possibly a wing or leg injury...was pacing back & forth in front of gate. Did'nt want to release it if truly injured. Spoke with Gayle who texted her husband Ed & son Devon who were out on other rescues. In a short time they arrived. The bird must have re-established its bearings & escaped the court. Gayle & Ed were very kind & responsive. Doing great humane work!in our community THANK YOU!

Thank you (from Mary) for taking care of our little rescue, Mockingbird with a broken leg. You are saints on earth with your care of these rescues.
We have such heart-felt attachments to all of our little ones, including this little mockingbird. Lots of rescues in my life including my horse. May we stop/call again to see how this little mockingbird is doing? Thank you.

Great couple that has dedicated their lives to saving our seabirds and small injured creatures. I have dropped birds off here and they also will come to you and pick up injured wildlife if you can't catch safely or are afraid to catch/touch. They have done this for over 20 years and still have so much love and affection for the wildlife. They are a nonprofit organization and do not receive government help. I like to drop supplies off to them a couple times a year. Their website usually tells what they need. If you see injured wildlife, don't be afraid to call and tell them. They will advise you of what to do or tell you what they are going to do.

This place is so amazing! I called 5 minutes before closing time and they told me to come out. I brought two little baby squirrels out there and they immediately took them in and took care of them. They have so many animals out there and are doing such an amazing job. If you can contribute time or money to this place you would be doing an amazing thing. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

I saw a baby mockingbird get hit by a car and lying injured in the roadway. Fortunately I was able to get to him before the next car did. I was able to take him out to their facility on Bradenton Beach. I was amazed of how many different types of wildlife they had at their facility. From Birds ,owls, possums, raccoons, fawns, Falcons, red-shouldered Hawks, tortoises snakes and more. You can tell the staff really cared about wildlife and this place seems to be very busy. Fantastic place and fantastic people here

Ed and his team have a very nice space for turtles and mammals. Ed was very welcoming and it s no wonder that this nonprofit is constantly busy with volunteers. Would love to return and spend more time. Highly recommend to anyone in Bradenton Beach.

I went to Mixon Farms for a tour and I was introduced to some of the animals under the care of Wildlife Inc. This organization runs a really great operation. Humane animal care is front and center. They have a very knowledgeable staff with a great passion for all wildlife. Definitely worth a visit.

This organization is amazing. They seem very dedicated and truly want to help our native wildlife. This Not for Profit rescues, rehabs and tries to release animals back into the wild and best of all, they Didn t Charge me. They only asked me to consider giving a donation of my choosing, which I gladly did as another local self-proclaimed rescuer requested money just to show up. I later found out via a Florida Fish and Wildlife officer, that this is the only licensed organization who rescues and rehabs in our area. I wouldn't call anyone else. This is one local organization worth supporting.

I liked and followed their page on Facebook, never posted anything, just supported and liked their posts, but I got a message that the page admin blocked me. I've been to their location before to drop off injured wildlife. Good cause, but kinda jerks.
