My first visit here to the Wild Horse Casino.

My first visit here to the Wild Horse Casino.
The entry to the entry to the check-in area is quite small. Not conducive for bringing in luggage. Because of the pandemic, the doors are clearly marked enter and exit and are just single doors. For such a place, they should have a wider entrance.
I did appreciate the assigned greeter who snapped our picture and temperature for contact tracing.
Checking in was easy though there was a mistake in assigning rooms. The keys given to us stated the room we were to be staying in. Written down on the keys as well as verbally. The keys never worked, housekeeping was able to let us in after verifying that we were in the room based on what was written on the key.
Once I brought it to their attention we were informed that we would have to change rooms.
I explained that since we were already in that room, unpacked and used the facilities, the room would need to be re-cleaned based on CDC protocol for covid protection. Gratefully, no one was assigned to that room so we were given new keys and all was well.
Beds were comfortable, nicely appointed, great view, and room amenities were provided.
The casino was well maintained, cleaned throughout our stay, hand sanitizers offered at pillars in-between machines and machines sanitized. Mask for strictly enforced! I was very grateful for that.
Many of the staff were very accommodating, cheerful and very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay there and we'll obviously be back again.

The casino and restaurant were fun and friendly and nice. That's why I gave 3 stars. I thought about only giving 2. We got a Courtyard room because we booked on relatively short notice. We were advised that it used to be a "smoking allowed" room, so we were prepared for the odor. The room overall was in really bad shape though. Everything was old and just seemed unclean. The shower was weak and poorly lit. The flooring and furniture and really all of it is just too old to be charging what they do for those rooms. I suggest ownership look into renovating the whole Courtyard room section. We were so disappointed that we skipped the golfing we were going to do the next day, and just went home. Bottom line, if a Courtyard room is all that's available, don't go.

We had enjoyable and relaxing moments at this casino resort.
We got checked in earlier than 3pm. I just wanted to ask something, and there's room ready, so they let us check in right there and then. That's a plus! Kudos to the hotel receptionist! We were able to relax and enjoy the view before we hit the floor to play.
We stayed at their Tower hotel, and we loved the view from the 9th floor. The room was clean, and so the bathroom. Even the hallway was well attended when it comes to cleanliness. There's no pets allowed, no smoking also, so no funky smell.
It was tranquil. It's quiet, so we had a good sleep.
There are so many slot machines. Too many that we got lost everytime we wanted to go back to our favorite games. There's beverages and coffee spots, so you don't need to worry of getting thirsty while playing all over the casino. The employees are busy getting the machines sanitized every now and then.
Two days are not enough. Wish we could stay for another day or two. Next time, we will.

I want to start by saying that I don't normally post bad reviews. If it's not great, I just don't leave any review, but this was so bad, I had to post. I really wanted to make this a standard stop between Boise and Salem. I should have realized from the first phone call that this wasn't going to be a good experience. Destiny, who took my reservation sounded like I was an inconvenience, I even had to ask for my confirmation number and if I could get an email. And when I did, her response was, well then you'd need to give me your email address. Wow!! When I didn't receive an email after a couple of hours, I called back, spoke to someone else who said my email address hadn't been added. Upon checking in and going to our room, the smoke detector was chirping in room. On further room "inspection" there appeared to be multiple streaks of blood on the bathtub. Fortunately we were able to change rooms. The amenities and the rooms they call the "Courtyard" are worth about $50/night. The soap is paper thin and no bigger than a business card. Room coffee is not much better than flavored water. We paid $227 because it was one night of the Labor Day holiday weekend. Maybe the "Tower" rooms are better, but we were traveling with our dogs and didn't have a choice.

Pulled in parking lot. Bunch people had 3 different tents set up. They started walking towards me. I thought maybe I was in reserved parking. But No!! They wanted to either covid test me or vaccinate me. Why would you think someone pulling in to a casino wants to be vaccinated. This is ridiculous this is like where I've seen a McDonald's giving out the covid vaccination.

Very nice casino. I've had some good luck there. The sports bar had pretty good food, but sad to see no other restaurants were open.
We did go bowling great service and very nice lanes! Very nice casino and very nice kid friendly area!

Unfortunately, even though our room was non-smoking no pets, it smelled like dogs had been there. Gambling was fun and I did feel like they were trying to keep things sanitized. Happy to see that it's gone no smoking.

Fanatic place for the whole family. Food is cheapily priced and good quality. Movie theater is extremely reasonably priced, our entire family had a blast. Slot machines are mostly old school and never over crowded.

Watched the NFL games and won $35 on roulette in 15 minutes playing the even money bets. Quick sessions is one of the ways to beat the casino. Do 3-5 sessions like that a day. Make $120 -$200 a day. Best way to do this is play online. Play when you have the time. Easy to get rich. Its just easier to stay poor. :(
