I want to start by saying that I don't normally post bad reviews. If it's not great, I just don't leave any review, but this was so bad, I had to post. I really wanted to make this a standard stop between Boise and Salem. I should have realized from the first phone call that this wasn't going to be a good experience. Destiny, who took my reservation sounded like I was an inconvenience, I even had to ask for my confirmation number and if I could get an email. And when I did, her response was, well then you'd need to give me your email address. Wow!! When I didn't receive an email after a couple of hours, I called back, spoke to someone else who said my email address hadn't been added. Upon checking in and going to our room, the smoke detector was chirping in room. On further room "inspection" there appeared to be multiple streaks of blood on the bathtub. Fortunately we were able to change rooms. The amenities and the rooms they call the "Courtyard" are worth about $50/night. The soap is paper thin and no bigger than a business card. Room coffee is not much better than flavored water. We paid $227 because it was one night of the Labor Day holiday weekend. Maybe the "Tower" rooms are better, but we were traveling with our dogs and didn't have a choice.
