We are on night one... and so far it has been such a disappointment. Ugghhhh. Check in at 4pm... get to our Wilderness Golf Cabin... and we come into broken chairs, broken ice maker, broken lamps. So after reporting all this damage we leave the cabin less than impressed. Arrive back to find the movie theatre/media room inoperable. Finally get a tech here... and well, he was able to get basic function, but remote and fill functionality not working. WIFi not working. Constant phone calls to Customer Service. Worst of all... just get off phone with customer support manager Josh who was ZERO help, condescending to say the least, and YES we have a right to be frustrated after 5 phones call to support in 6hrs of our stay... and his tone, demeanor, and inability to apologize for the shape in which we checked in to our room... beyond disappointed. Have stayed here in hotel in past, and maybe that is the only way to stay. Praying day 2 starts looking up... if not what a disaster!!!!

Large water park resort with a plethora of activities for all ages. A fun winter escape with many indoor water parks and activities like arcades, go carts, pottery, shopping, ropes course, playgrounds and more. Can get pretty crowded on weekends.

What a fun place! Very helpful staff, free wifi, so much to do. The only problem I experienced was one of the water parks i was looking forward to swimming in was closed with no notification.

We go every summer, early in the season for the best price. Our kids (teens now) love it. More than just a water park with Polka Dot pots, zip lining and the ropes course as some of our favorites.

Not wheelchair accessible at the water parks. My dad is a military amputee. When making the reservation the hotel told us that there would be plenty for him to do...NOPE!!!
I noticed that I'm the only one who has not gotten a reply from the wilderness (owner). ???

I had been to the Wilderness many times as a kid, and my first trip back as an adult did not dissapoint. All three indoor waterparks were relatively clean and enjoyable and the customer service was wonderful. Check in process was super easy and our room was ready before our check-in time. Room was clean, however slightly musty-smelling when we first walked in and the HVAC unit kind of sounded like it could take off into orbit at any minute. Was pleased overall even if the room was a showing its age.

This place is huge, couldn't get a late check out when I was told the night before I could get it if I called at 7:00 a.m. Too big and unfriendly for me. It reminded me of the hotel in the movie, The Shining.

We spent a weekend here for my son's birthday. This was the first time our family spent time here. We had been to the Kalahari before but the Wilderness out did that place. It was busy all weekend long but we still were able to enjoy everything. We didnt have to spend a lot of time in lines waiting for the water slides. The attendants kept it going quickly. The whole resort was very clean and all the employees were amiable and willing to help out. We ate breakfast at the Wild Canyon Cafe. We had their breakfast buffet and the offered many options for the whole family: waffles, pancakes, eggs, bacon, fresh omelettes, and much more. They snack food and small cafes around the park were a little pricey. The kids really enjoyed the water parks, which there were three, and they had several arcades, huge play place, and dry attractions. I would highly recommend this resort as a place to take the kids. Hopefully, in the summer I can review their outdoor attractions too.

We have gone here every year for many years now (13+) and continue to love it. They re constantly changing things up and keeping everything to date.

I wish things were cheaper, as the prices on everything (wristbands, games, food, etc) go up every year.

There are lots of waterparks spaced out, so they don t ever feel too crowded.

Know the room you re getting. We booked a room that claimed to sleep 7, but did not, no refund, no extra beds.

The lines at this place are just horrible. 20 minutes to ride a water slide. Also there are three indoor water parks but quite a hike to get to them. The only redeeming quality was the wave pool. My son said he liked the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan which is a much smaller water park but smaller lines.

Very pleased. Stayed overnight at Glacier Canyon Sunday to Monday. Great time to go during school year in my opinion since it's usually not too crowded. Our room was very nice and clean and we had pleasant encounters with all the staff we met. One lifeguard in particular even went the extra mile to interact with each of the kids at the "kiddie" slide before they headed down. Sometimes it's the little stuff that matters.

Unless you get a deal this place is overpriced. It's so large, that even with several water park areas it's still over crowded. Rooms were large but bedding had holes in it , floors were disgustingly dirty. Second time staying here but will definitely stay somewhere else next trip to Dell's.

Haven't been since I've been a teenager, but just as fun as I remembered it to be! Forgot how much this place had to offer. And it's a good place to go when you have a wide age range of people. Something for everyone. Stayed 2 nights for my 30th with a couple of friends. We all enjoyed it. Thank you for a memorable 30th! Maybe work on the lazer tag. It was just kind of boring decorating and some more time. Mini golf was really cool and fun. Idk maybe why I expected more from lazer tag. Go to Groupon to get a good special on the rooms!!

I liked this place, but there are many pros and cons.

Room: 3/5:
Our room was clean, but we had a view of a pool of algae. The shower wasn't like a regular shower. But overall, everything was ok.

Employees/Service: 5/5:
Everyone was nice, and the service worked well.

Arcades: 2.5/5:
Most of the games functioned well, but the place was dirty, and the game cards were expensive.

Water Parks: 4.5/5:
The water parks were enjoyable, and clean. But one of the body slides in Klondike Kavern gave me shoulder pains and I had to sit out of the parks for the rest of the day. But the water parks were fun.

Rented an entertainment cabin, we arrived a day late and had to wait a hour to get in because it still was not ready. Once we were let in, we had to call 3 times to get clean sheets and towels. At night security was roaming through the backyards of every cabin and were very rude. Terrible experience.

Awesome experience for a winter getaway. Great family fun. Water parks were well staffed and clean. We went mid week and basically had the parks to ourselves. It's a pick your adventure when it comes to which of the indoor parks to visit each has it's own feel. We had children ranging from 10 months to 6 years and the accommodation was great. 9n the higher price end of the dells but worth the $$

Came here with our hockey team. Requested 2 times to be near team mate because we meal planned together. Ended up being on 4th floor and they were on 1st floor, the rest of the team were on 2nd floor. Very disappointing! And also if i wouldn't have double checked our reservation i would have ended up at the other resort with the wrong hockey team. Rooms were great and roomy though.

Rooms were smaller than expected. We had to call maintenance twice. The first time was when we first got into the room. The kitchen cabinet was hanging by one hinge.
The second time was because we did not have hot water in the shower.

We we're disappointed that we we're tricked into going over to the " coupon desk" They try and talk you a timeshare presentation. Don't fall for it! They called my wife twice after to bug her to go to the sales presentation.

Because the entrance closest to our room does not have an elevator, we had to lug all of our stuff quite a long way through a parking lot that could of been snow plowed during the day. I seen several snow plow trucks but never anyone plowing. Parking lot was a land mine of ice.

We will not be back. While my kids did have fun. For the amount of money we paid I will say I am disappointed in the quality of the accommodation's.

Prejudice. They told us we had to pay a 1000.00 deposit after we checked in, had our lodge keys, and once the rest of our family arrived. We were not over the 10 person capacity but we were not Caucasian. They called us back to the counter and added a 1000.00 deposit

First of all, we paid cash for 4 fun passes. The girl that checked us in apparently didnt keep the recipt in folder, so we were charged a total of $160 for fun passes and ut should have only been $80! Because they didnt keep the recipt on file, and my sister threw her copy away at checkout I, had to pay twice & was told there was nothing more they can do. Second, the fan in the bathroom was broken, the fridge in our room was dirty, and there was burn holes on our furniture. Then, while in the pool our towels & key cards were stolen two times. And finally when on the rope walk which we used out fun passes for, I took off my sweater and shoes behind the entrance rope and left them in a corner where one girl told me it was okay, shift change happened while on the attraction and another girl removed my peraonal items from behind the rope and put them across the hall where any child can walk by and take them! Wont be returning to the wilderness to say the least.

Love this place! I am up here atleast twice a year .I am a wyndham owner and therefore stay on the wyndham side. Yes you can hear people but they have a strict noise policy after 10 p.m. and if you let them know they respond immediately and parking on our end we always find a spot. The wyndham staff is always friendly and responsive. :)

I highly enjoyed my two night's stay at the Wilderness Resort in a 2 queen bed and sofa bed room. I was there Monday-Wednesday towards the end of August, so past peak season I'm guessing. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was a little noisy being on the first floor, but I had no trouble sleeping whatsoever, which is rare for me, even at home.

We had a little trouble finding the pools based on some poorly-designed interior signage. (We had to turn around to look at the signs facing the other direction to see if we'd missed our turn, etc.) The pools are great for families with kids. I was a little bored as an adult but the lazy river was nice and relaxing.

Our room had a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and blow dryer. Also a small table with two chairs.

Room was great! Watermarks are fun just a lot of walking to get to the parks. The only complaint I had was the main bedroom had a strong smell of pot smoke. I immediately called to inform them, they apologized and got a housekeeper in room within 15 min the spray room. In my opinion the room should have been ozoned and we should of been offered a different room. We ended up leaving deck door open for quiet awhile and I sprayed my personal perfume around room. Pot smoke takes a lot to get rid of. I had my children with so it was unpleasant. We were in 4039 glaciar canyon. We love the rooms, stayed in the past, plan to return, but hopefully they no longer will rent rooms out that smell like smoke. Gross.

Every staff member that I tried to ask a question was on their cell phone playing games. We stayed in the villa, and I guess you need to swipe your key card to make the heat work, so every hour I had a get up and swipe our key card to keep the heat on. Really disappointed, do yourself a favor and stay at a different hotel.

Lovely as always but what is with the miniature 4 cup coffee pots. 1200.00 for three nites and that can't equip GCL suites with a pot suitable for 4 adults? Come on. On a positive note all the kids working this summer are fabulous.
