I have to be honest: the only other casino I have been to is in Nevada ( Las Vegas or Laughlin). This casino was quite different. On the very positive side, there was no evidence of cigarette smoke,- and I didn't see anyone smoking. The selection of slot machines was a big difference. I am accustomed to having the price of the machines posted above ( such as 1 cent, 1 dollar ) , so I could easily find 1 cent machines. In this casino, there was no price posted, and we had to walk up to each machine to check. Even the Penny Machines weren't a penny. A machine that was a Penny Machine required an average of 70 cents to spin. Admittedly, I am a very frugal player. I spent a total of $30.00 ( and that felt like a lot) , but I did "Win" $11.20 and had fun. Beverages were not being served by wait staff, which was another big difference I noticed from Nevada casinos. I wanted a soft drink, but I never saw anyone offering drinks the 2 hours I was there. Dining options are also pretty limited. We ended up eating at Fat Burger.
TIGHTEST SLOTS in Arizona, just walk in and hand the cashier your bankroll, get some points and a free watery soda, then walk out. You'll save so much time.
We love it here ...travel from Tucson for FATBURGER
Won some, lost more, but that's how it is at all casinos? If their security and staff would loosen up without making their patrons feel like they are under surveillance or something it would be a lot more fun!
Very nice and clean, Hand Sanitizer & Sanitizing wipes readily available. The Cleaning Ambassadors were on top of keeping machines wiped down . Thank you for a Healthy , Smoke free environment, it makes it so comfortable to breathe , especially having to wear a mask and enjoy playing. A great variety of games to choose from.Over all this Casino was a great experience. Will definitely return to play.
My company held their annual conference here and we were very pleased with the environment, rooms, service and food. This is a beautiful establishment! I would like to see more restaurant options on site, but otherwise, an awesome visit.
came here for a night while I was in town on business. The casino is decent, but typically has some weird odds and other bonus structures that make some of the games?. The slots were okay. Casino was just drenched in the smell of stale cigarettes and smoke everywhere. Poker room was packed and had some interesting limits due to the laws here. Overall, not a terrible casino, but nowhere near some others that I've been to.
If you wanna have fun you can do it here. Well as long as you don't mind just playing for fun. Never really won anything to big here in all the years I've been playing here. I do enjoy the establishment, it keeps bringing me back!!!
The hotel experience was nice. The pool was a little cold and the slot machines are tighter than a drum, but other than that it was a good stay.
If you want to get Covid-19 please step right inside! No social distancing. No one wearing masks. People smoking. The air is probably riddled with the virus. This place should be shut down! Same goes for its sister property Lone Butte.
This is my favorite hotel and casino hands down! Rooms are really comfortable and staff goes out of their way to make it an awesome stay
One of the best hotel restaurants and a good place to play
Had a phenomenal time at your Casino... I highly recommend this place
my favorite casino in the valley! Everything you want in a casino experience. Chrome is a night club there and it's free to get into. Nice place with good music.
Nice hotel with decent priced rooms. AWESOME POOL PARTIES IN THE SUMMER TIME!
Refreshments folks came by regularly, lots of variety of machines but they are quite tight. Didn't see any "signers"...no one hitting anything big. A bit smokey, section marked no smoking in center of everything, no barriers.
Wild Horse Pass has become the favorite Phoenix area casino of my wife and I. With older values (mid 60's) we may value different features than we would have 30 years ago, but as it stands now for our stage in life, just give us a clean place, decent food and a possibility of leaving with more money than we arrived with. We've had opportunities over the past 20 or so years to hit most of the casinos an hour of two from our N Phoenix home. We agree that WHP has consistently the most enjoyable food (Ling & Louies has terrific food!!), the friendliest people (a few rude people excluded), the best ventilated (least smokey) atmosphere (currently non-smoking due to Covid - I HOPE IT STAYS THAT WAY!!), the best comps (use your card!), and the best paying slots. That last part is important, as isn't that why we all go to casinos in the first place? Yes, we leave down more often that we leave up, but we seem to get more hours of play for the money we leave behind. Nothing leaves a more sour taste in my mouth than to sit at machine after machine and just feed money constantly! While that can happen at WHP - we seem to have many more pleasant experiences than at most other area casinos.
Seemed like very very tight slots. Nice hotel that is expanding.
If you like playing Keno machines then this is the place. Hit 2 jackpots in 1 day!
Had a great stay. That fried rice from Ling L was so so. So delicious.
I got robbed. Someone broke in to my cara and stoll ever thing.
A friend of mine went and had drinks, gambled a little, it was fun!
It was fun .. Having a live DJ makes its more entertaining .people are friendly .
I loved this place! It's beautiful, the service was amazing, the food was good, and we had fun!
Too much smoke, and the non smoking area is right in the middle of all the smoking! Yucky!!!
Look closely in the left side of the pool and the parked car...!!!!
Nicer than we expected, being from Texas we are used to Shreveport and Oklahoma casinos and they're nowhere close to this.
Had a great date and anniversary with hubby. What a blast. There were plenty of games open on a Friday night.
Loved it!lost points acquired to March 5 2020 when I visited yesterday.
Love that they have truck parking when its not torn to pieces but lucky enough that you can park on the sand across the street, and its packed enough that you will not get stuck.
Bad had too wait too long only too loose all my money ..
Run from this place. No random number generator here if you can't get a small jackpot with $10,000.00 in any casino you will never get one. Me and my friend no this place very well we couldn't do a anything right. It's our belief they messed with the machines to make all of us pay for there losses during the covid virus. This place is on our boycott list and it should be on yours!!!
Very nice cadino but not enough wait staff and alittle pricey with food abd drinks
Food at the Asian Ginger was fantastic! Not crazy about the remodel of the cafe though. Food not great and overpriced there. Casino too smoky even with the air coming out of the floor which just makes it ridiculously cold! Bathrooms were well maintained and there is truck parking. The truck parking is crazy tight! Area seems safe and well maintained. Excellent assortment of slots. I do NOT like the new craps/roulette/blackjack/bacarrat combo. The setup takes away the group excitement that you have when playing craps. Or roulette. Your all mixed in together and it's not enjoyable.
Just stopped in to play some blackjack. The casino was very clean and the workers were all very nice. It was a lot of fun
I come here to play the electronic craps and blackjack. The machines have been updated and the amount of seats expanded, so there usually is no waiting. The casino as a whole is pretty clean. My only complaint is that there doesn't ever seem to be enough waitresses walking in around the casino to provide drinks. The bars and restaurants are decent too.
It's high ceilings keep out the smoking smell. Majority of employees have good customer service. It's a clean environment. Food is good. Machine are loose. I traveled almost two hours to enjoy a gambling get away even where I lived we have casinos, but are terrible in pay.
Casino and bathrooms were clean and we'll maintained. Free pop and coffee station. $10 match play for new club card members. There is no buffet. They have a steak house and Asian themed restaurant. They also have a food court not mentioned online. Pizza, fat burger, a deli and an Asian restaurant. They do have truck and rv parking,
Incredible service, valet for your car bottles of water at entrance, servers constantly walking around, might have to wave them down, but its understandable it was busy, but man they definitely know what their doing...
Newly renovated rooms that are clean and quiet. Their 24/7 restaurant is newly renovated as well and is now called Full House Cafe. It has good food and reasonable prices and is open around the clock with more seating, large screen tv's and windows into the casino. Shula's Steak House, Ling & Louie's and the Food Court round out the dining options. My only complaint is that the new Coffee Shop never has the ingredients to make the drinks listed on their menu and the staff who work in there don't seem to know the recipes to make the drinks taste good. I have thrown out drinks because they look good , whipped cream and all but, taste terrible.
Not a bad experiance... Friendly dealers at Black Jack
I love their Casino. The restaurants are quite good. Lots of different choices as to what kind of food you like. They are right off the freeway and easy to find. I would recommend going there to all that are looking for a good place to make some good memories.
They're they're doing great keeping everything clean, didn't want anything tonight.
I was surprised to see the casino has been modified to aid in social distancing.
I loved the show but you guys need better ventilation!! All that cigarette smoke was horrible!!
As far as the hotel goes, I found only the customer service, and chicken strips to be above par, everything else was below par. The golf course looks nice but I didn't golf I came for a work party.
100$ @ .88 bet lasted 10 min. The biggest win was $2.40...I see signs every where in there stating if you have a gambling problem call a 800 number...my conclusion is they take your monies and say we have a problem...I think the gaming commission should be called first!!! Being new to Az I think the worst are Casinos and Car Sales
It had been quite some time since I stepped foot in this casino. The last time I was there over 10 years ago they just had the old and new gila River casino they were not very fancy. But wild horse pass has really stepped it up. In fact both of the casinos are really nice. But wild horse pass really did a number with their reservations. It's beautiful on the inside and there are restaurants throughout the casino. The machines look nice, they're well on their way with the new hotel buildings and honestly it's somewhere I see myself staying in the future. I went tonight and only wanted to spend 20 bucks. I just wanted to see how it looked at the renovations. I was impressed and I walked out with 53 bucks after playing for 2 hours. I've got pretty good strategy when it comes to betting on slots but I have my bad days where $20 is the last more than 10 minutes. But then again I've had my good days but not yet at this casino. For my first gambling experience since they reopened I am very impressed. I would definitely recommend this casino to others and people visiting as well.
Had a great time. Even the security photo bombed our pic that was funny . Friendly staff.
i love it..i love going..every chance i get and if i have a few ends to spare, im going to have a good,AWESOME TIME!!
CHECK IT OUT..
Was finally up $80 & it was steadily increasing! That is until my friends found me, sat right next to me; ganking all of my
MOJO
Took my daughter here for her first slot play on her 21st. The atmosphere has changed. It's hum drum depressing. No upbeat music. Couldn't get anyone to pay attention long enough to acknowledge my daughter's many requests trying to order her first big girl drink at the bar. She just gave up. Then we were trying to book a room (make a reservation) so my daughter could enjoy the accomadations I previously enjoyed and we were ignored for a long while then talked to rudely. Needless to say. We left. It really ruined my daughter's birthday she had been looking forward to for so long. Utter disappoinment.
Clean nice casino. Staff are very pleasant and helpful
Have fun would have had more fun if I could have got a room
Accidentally went to the wrong place. Yet, Gila was polite, helpful staff and we walked around a bit. Glad to see CDC guidelines were being followed. Will be back.
This place has really went down hill here where do I start? The same people seem to be here every single weekend. They have taken out all the Double Diamond and triple diamond and Cherry machines all the quarter machines all the nickel machines are all gone. The machines that are remaining are all the multi-payline machines which are typically betting from $0.70 to $2 a bet the ethics of going there for quarter machines and nickel machines and playing one to five lines those machines are no longer existing there. They have been really getting rid of these machines lately at a lot of the casinos here regardless of the amount of people that have had complaints they don't care and they won't bring back the machines. They even had a $0.50 machine which was a single pay line in the machine had a line all day long and they got rid of it they practically got rid of every popular machine that you would have liked from a couple years ago to machines where you have to bet anywhere between 20 to like a hundred lines now and these machines are like typically a dollar bedding so the inspector coming here for entertainment or $50 or $100 is almost non-existent now
Sat and had martinis at the bar. Great drinks and service is very friendly. I'll be back I go to AZ often
I don't like casinos in general, so my review is very biased. It was a nice place, objectively. The air was well ventilated and cooled, and service employees were always easy to find.
Place looks and feels great. Was a nice escape from the heat of the day. Everyone I interacted with (in terms of staff) were very warm and inviting. Answered all my questions without hesitation. Would definitely recommend and go back.
We are staying here for our anniversary. Room is excellent and quiet, food is good and the casino is nice.
Let me just say this !!!!wild horse pass Casino. Is nice everything is safe. They have clean bathrooms and they give you a chance to win money. Just add the app to your phone so you know what gifts they are giving away. They are giving you free money and food.it crazy but true.
Nice casino, but hasn't been paying out a lot lately
It's pretty much the only Casino in the "valley" that I can actually win a few dollars at from time to time. That goes for slots as well as blackjack. A few of the staff have been rude for no reason but they are the exception, I would say, not the rule. They change machines around all the time but currently the "double bubble" chewing gum themed game is one that seems to withhold less than most. But there are only 2 in the casino currently. Also, if you can afford it, there's 3 "easy money" machines one or the other is always hitting pretty well.
Everyone was so kind!!! From Bell hops, to check-in, to housekeeping. People were constantly cleaning! I felt safe and was able to relax!
I went for my 21st birthday and it was pretty fun! I tried my hand at blackjack for the first time and the dealer as well as the other players helped me out. It was intimidating at first but everyone was pretty nice and helped me out! We had one bartender who was a grump but I also had a very nice bartender so, it evens out, I guess the rooms were also pretty nice. Nothing crazy but it worked for two people for a night.
Good got some good drinks 2 for only 12.00 dollars ,good fun I always come back for more
It was ok, really wasn't that big of a floor, most machines where in use, no real card games to enter to speak of. Probably will stick to talking stick or casino Arizona
Lots of fun and you can grab your own fountain drinks or coffee and tea selections at the self serve stand so you don't have to wait for someone to come around with pre-poured drinks and can doctor up your coffee and tea all on your own.
Stayed there very disappointed and disturbing. Bed bugs. For a resort.
Really nice rooms. Professional service. Next door to Outlet Mall! What more could you ask for? GAMBLING!!!
Love the games, restaurants and parks. Great place for a night out!
Gypsy Kings was a great show. Casino is nice. I'm a non smoker. The casino smoke wasn't bad. Walked around had a couple drinks. The DJs at three different spots around the casino are a good idea. Overall, We enjoyed our selves.
Just a great place to have some fun and try to win some money
The music venue is the best. Lots of variety all of the seats are good.
